Kyuhyun was humming when he started the livestream. He gave a quick smile and a wave to the camera for those that got in early, but mostly waited silently for other people to join in. When the stream reached over 10,000 mark in 3 minutes, he narrowed his eyes at the camera.

“You’re all…” Kyuhyun paused, as if finding the words. “You’re all expecting something, aren’t you? Why are there so many people already, hmm?” He chuckled before turning his eyes back to the screen.

After a few more moments, Kyuhyun finally formally greeted the viewers and explained the flow of corners he was going to follow. “It’s been a while, right? I haven’t done these segments for a long time. Who’s the guest?” He read one of the comments and looked up at something behind the camera. “Ah, the guest just passed by through the door. I won’t tell you who it is yet, so you have to wait until later.”

He started arranging the cooking equipment on the table. “Today, I’ll be making sundubu jjigae because our guest likes tofu and this is one of our guest’s favorite dishes.”

Kyuhyun went on to explain how he was following another recipe by Paik Jongwon. Once in a while, he would read comments, but it mostly went on the way any of his other livestreams went. He prepared the ingredients and started cooking them while also doing commentary or telling stories.

When the dish was finally done, he looked at the camera and smiled again. “Since this is finished, I should call on the guest now.” He looked behind the camera again and some faint noises were heard in the background. “Wait, no—”

“Hello, KyuTV viewers!” Eunhyuk barged into the screen with a wide grin. “I haven’t been here in a while. But it’s okay! You can find me on 1LDAN EUNHYUKEE. Go there now to watch my videos. Like, subscribe, and press the notification bell~” He kept saying even though Kyuhyun was already complaining about the promotions and kept halfheartedly pushing him out.

“Why did you even go here? You’re not the guest.” Kyuhyun huffed as one last push was enough to push the older one out of the camera’s view.

“Hey! I want to eat too!” Eunhyuk’s voice playfully complained.

Kyuhyun’s eyes widened in disbelief. He pointed at his hyung with a scoff.  “You were already eating a box of pizza by yourself when I got here!”

“Just say you don’t want to cook for me.” 

“Yeah, not today. You already ate!”

Another huff was heard and the sound of the door lightly closing indicated that the other Super Junior had left the room. “Okay. The actual guest can come sit here now.” Kyuhyun patted the chair beside him as he grinned at the person entering the frame. 

The comments section was going wild with all sorts of reactions as Kim Heeyoung took her place beside Kyuhyun and waved at the camera. “Everyone, please welcome Kim Heeyoung!”

Heeyoung bowed her head to the audience as Kyuhyun was clapping before introducing herself again. There wasn’t a hint of nervousness from her, and the actress looked completely comfortable as she would look from the screen to Kyuhyun then back again. “Are we going to address it?”

“Oh, already?” Kyuhyun shrugged nervously. “I mean, I guess. Go ahead.”

“That’s right, everyone.” Heeyoung nodded solemnly, turning to the camera. “I am Kim Heechul’s younger sister.”

“Yah!” Kyuhyun laughed, all signs of tension disappearing in a second. “Stop introducing yourself as Heechul hyung’s sister! People keep thinking we met because of him.”

Heeyoung rolled her eyes. “Stop crediting oppa for that.” She advised the audience. “Heechul oppa was always overprotective when it comes to me; he never introduced me to his friends when we were younger. I literally had to meet the Suju and TVXQ members by myself when I went with omma to visit and bring them food in the dorms.”

“Anyway!” Kyuhyun brought them back on track. “Yes. Heeyoung and I are…”

Heeyoung placed her elbow on the table and her chin on the palm of her hand as watched Kyuhyun, obviously amused. “You can do it! Finish the sentence! I believe in you!”

“Dating. We are dating.” Kyuhyun laughed and covered his face with his hands because he was slowly turning red as he leaned towards Heeyoung to hide behind her.

Heeyoung shook her head with a smile as she sat properly again, one hand reaching up to gently pat the top of his head. “Good job. You did it!”

“Ugh.” Kyuhyun groaned, noticing how red he was on the screen and quickly shaking his head as if it was going to help. “Let’s just eat. The food is going to get cold. Ah, wait! You don’t have water. I’ll go get some or…” They exchanged looks but Heeyoung just nodded and shrugged.

Kyuhyun turned to the camera. “Everyone, I’m just going to go get us water, okay?” And he left.

Heeyoung watched as he left the room before leaning towards the screen to see the comments better. “Hello everyone! I keep saying ‘hello’ but I don’t really do this, so I’m not sure what I should be saying. Anyway, Kyuhyun-ie told me that he usually just reacts to your chat, so I’m gonna try to do that.”

“‘You’re so beautiful!’? Yes, I know, right? It’s so unreal. ‘Does the food smell good?’ Yes and I want to eat it now, but omma taught me to wait until everyone on the table is ready to eat.” She scrolled through the chat, reacting to some that she might have missed. Some fans seemed to have realized the benefit of having Kim Heeyoung on the livestream. “‘Can you read some of our English messages for Kyuhyun oppa?’” She visibly shuddered before nodding. “Yes, I can. I can also read a bit of Spanish if you’d like. But please don’t make me call him oppa, I will literally leave.”

“‘Sis, if you need help, blink twice.’ Is that a meme or something? I don’t get the reference. Break up with him’? Nah, I don’t want to.” She shrugged and moved on to other comments, seemingly oblivious to how many fans were freaking out at home at her being absolutely calm throughout the entire thing. “‘Do you have Twitter?’ Yes, but it’s a private one and it’s a different one from the one I used years ago so none of you will ever find it. ‘Please take care of Kyuhyun op—’ Again, I’m not going to be calling him that, but yes, of course I will. ‘Did you and Kyuhyun really just start dating recently? Sounds fake.’”

The last comment made her laugh and lean back on her chair. “I’m going to cry, I have heard this kind of comment so many times from people around us ever since they found out we were dating. We literally started dating just a few months ago. No lies. The whole confessing to each other about our feelings thing only happened recently, please, I—” She sighed, with a shake of her head. “We know we could have been dating years ago, but we didn’t. Because we were stupid.” Heeyoung laughed through the words as she clapped to emphasize certain points.

“What are you talking about?” Kyuhyun's voice joined in as he entered the room with two glasses of water. 

Heyoung was still laughing to herself when he finally made his way back to his seat. “They don’t believe me when I say we’ve only started dating recently. On one hand, if they’re convinced we’ve been dating for years, they’re thinking we’re lying and we’ve been tricking them this entire time. On the other, if they believe the truth that is us recently dating, they would think we’re so stupid.”

Kyuhyun burst into laughter but he silently took Heeyoung's bowl of food and pushed it towards her. “Let’s not think about that.”

“Agreed.” Heeyoung finally took a bite of the food prepared, Kyuhyun closely watching for her reaction and looking extremely satisfied and proud when she smiled and exclaimed that it was good. “Oh, wow. This is really good.”

“Thank you, Paik Jongwon seonsaengnim.” Kyuhyun credited the chef again before digging into his own share of food. 

“What should we even talk about in this live?” Heeyoung asked after swallowing another spoonful of tofu.

“Mmm, let’s see what’s interesting.” Kyuhyun shrugged before using the mouse to scroll through the chat.

“I just think Mamacita should be promoted again, you know?” Heeyoung shrugged. She nodded and pointed at the comments that were echoing her claim. “See? They agree with me.”

“But why Mamacita of all the Super Junior songs?” Kyuhyun asked curiously.

She thought for a second. “I just love the entire song. Actually, the whole album is great. But Mamacita is the most musical-ish song as well, I think. And I really, really love the bridge part where everyone’s singing together. Plus the whole concept with the music video and the dramatized music video — which is such a great concept that K-pop seems to have dropped, I feel personally offended — and the outfits you all had. It was all top quality.”

Heeyoung blinked twice after her explanation before turning to grin at Kyuhyun. “On the other hand, I would personally love to see a recreation of Twins (Knock Out) with you in it.” She laughed when Kyuhyun rolled his eyes, as if there was an inside joke. 

The musical actress turned to the camera with a smile. “Is it weird when you realize that I was able to be there for the Super Junior debut stage, but Kyuhyun wasn’t?”
 

“Ah, stop asking that.” Kyuhyun shook his head as they continued reading the comments. 

Heeyoung tried to guess which one he was referring to, but the chat was moving too fast. “Which one?”

“They’re asking if Eunhyuk hyung is still your favorite Suju member.” Kyuhyun sighed before looking at the camera. “Everyone, the answer is yes. Stop mocking me with it.”

Heeyoung laughed with a light slap to Kyuhyun’s arm. “No!” She cleared and said her next words extra loud. “Eunhyuk oppa is not my favorite Super Junior member anymore! He’s very rude! He has gone down in the list!” 

Kyuhyun chuckled quietly and there was a moment of quietness in the livestream until the sound of the door slamming open interrupted it. 

“HEEYOUNG-AH!” Eunhyuk’s voice desperately called out as he entered and walked towards the two, slightly being seen on the side of the screen. Kyuhyun and Heeyoung moved a bit to give him space to stand beside Heeyoung. “What happened? What did I do??” He took Heeyoung’s hands in his and shook them slightly. “You said I was your favorite!”

Kyuhyun watched in amusement but lightly slapped Eunhyuk’s hands out of the way to hold Heeyoung’s hands instead, much to everyone’s amusement.

Heeyoung, the actress that she is, exaggeratedly turned away from Eunhyuk and refused to meet his eyes. “I arrived here in the dorm with ice cream to eat later, and you just ate all of it. Unacceptable.” She glanced at him for a second. “You’ve dropped to… like… 100th place in terms of favorite Suju members. And there’s only 15 Super Junior members in history, so how does it feel, huh?”

“That was yours?!” Eunhyuk exclaimed before dropping his head in his hands. “I didn't know! I’m so sorry.”

“It’s too late.” Heeyoung sniffed. Kyuhyun played along and grabbed some tissue to pass to her, which she took to dab at her eyes. “You ate all of it already.”

Eunhyuk sighed, accepting his fate. “Alright. I guess I’ll have to work my way up. Who’s your favorite now?”

“Yesung oppa.” She answered with no hesitation, the same time Kyuhyun knowingly replied with “Yesung hyung.”

“NO!” Eunhyuk’s eyes closed in disbelief.

Heeyoung had her face covered with her hands. Kyuhyun was just quietly looking at the screen with his arms crossed, and a smile that looked like he was trying to hold back.

Another deep sigh came from the woman before she dropped her hands and stared at the man beside her for a second. “Unbelievable.”

“Okay. That’s enough.” Kyuhyun interjected before she could say more, but the minute of silence that she had just taken up was replaced with words continuously barreling out of .

“How? How did you do that?” She wildly gestured to the screen which was still displaying the ending card of the Frankenstein teaser video that Kyuhyun had filmed and they had just reacted to. “Kyuhyun-ah, I’m not joking. That was so good. It was so amazing. I’m running out of words because I can’t even think of words to describe it. Kyuhyun-ah! It’s so good! I can’t deal with this.” She ran her hands through her hair, eyes wide as she still stared in awe at the screen that Kyuhyun was attempting to exit. She suddenly grabbed his arm and shook it wildly. “Your voice went so deep, Kyuhyun-ah. And then it went so high?! With all due respect, what the ?”

Kyuhyun began laughing and shushed her at her cursing. A lot of the comments were laughing at her reaction and started remembering how her brother had also cursed several times on the livestream with Kyuhyun in the past. 

“Kyuhyun-ah.” She ignored him and kept going. “That was really good. It’s so wild how you just keep getting better. How do you do it?! Oh my god…” Heeyoung shook her head in disbelief again before gently pulling him closer with the arm she was still tightly holding and dropping a light kiss on his temple, as if it was the most natural thing to do in the world. “You did so well! I mean I never expected less but this was just so, so, so, so good. I love it so much. Kyuhyun-ah, I love you so much. Oh my god???”

“Let’s move on.” Kyuhyun struggled to say while laughing. “Let us please move on. What if we watch one of your performances and compliment that instead?”

The starstruck expression on Heeyoung’s face wiped out in less than a second as she shook her head solemnly. “I don’t know if you’ve heard, but my brother and I are allergic to compliments. It’s a family thing. Oh my god, Kyuhyun-ah, no.”

Kyuhyun grinned as he started typing in the search box.

“I don't drink often like Kyuhyun-ie or Heechul oppa.” Heeyoung answered one of the questions after Kyuhyun switched the rating because the alcohol was being brought out. “But I can drink a lot.”

“When she gets drunk, she’s still in control. She remembers everything and still has a clear mind, but she gets so sleepy.” Kyuhyun recalled for the viewers. “One time, when we were drinking with some of the other members, I think it was Shindong hyung who gave her multiplication questions with 2 digits and she was answering them correctly with her eyes closed and head already on the table.”

Heeyoung laughed, not phased by a story of one of her drunk moments. “I usually start off really excited for everything, though! Like I’m really happy to be drinking? And then the adrenaline fades off.”

“I just get a bit clingy to anyone, but you all know that already.” Kyuhyun shrugged. “I’ve explained that here before, just look for the video.”

Heeyoung smiled at the camera. “He also has the habit of saying he’s not drunk but he really is.”

“I’m not!” He argued.

“You are.” She countered knowingly.

“I’m really not.”

“Sure. Not yet.” She gestured to the bottles that they’ve yet to open.

Kyuhyun just shook his head with a smile, refusing to agree.

“He also gets emotional or sentimental.” Heeyoung continued with furrowed eyebrows. “The night before I was leaving to go to America for the first time, he was near crying and telling me I was his best friend and asking me if I really had to leave.”

Kyuhyun paused as he was trying to open the bottle and turned away for a second, biting back a smile. The audience was quick to notice that he had turned a bit red when he pretended everything was fine and looked back to the front. “I told you I wasn’t drunk at that time!”

Heeyoung sent a knowing look to the camera, which was unnoticed by the other who was pouring drinks for both of them.

“Stop it.” Heeyoung whined then chuckled again after reading one of the comments. “Yes, he did do that years ago. And yes, neither of us realized that we liked each other. We know how dumb this sounds.  Please leave us alone.” She laughed while covering her eyes.

Kyuhyun just sighed with her and pushed her hand down to get her attention. “Let’s just cheers to the audience.”

“If we do that, will they stop bringing it up?”

“Oh, no. We’re going to be haunted by that forever. They might make a whole drama or movie about us.”

“Nooo…”

“What if they make a musical?”

“Oh...That’s not such a bad idea.”

“I think we should stop this. What do you think?” Kyuhyun asked while brushing a strand of hair away from Heeyoung’s face. 

The actress had already pulled her legs up and wrapped her arms around her knees. Her chin was on top of one of her wrists as she gazed at the chat box. A few moments ago, she had started blinking quickly several times in order to keep her eyes open, but her replies were always quick, clear, and reasonable. “Sure, if that’s what you think. I just want to drink water.”

They quickly did the usual goodbyes that Kyuhyun would do and, soon, the livestream ended after several hours.

Both of them were silent for a second as Kyuhyun double checked to see if everything was good before he shut down the computer. He turned to the woman beside him. “I’ll get you water?” They had run out of it just minutes ago.

“Mhmm.” She answered, not moving from her position. “Please.”

When he returned with glasses full of water for the both of them, Heeyoung finally sat up to drink properly. “That was fun.” She commented with a shrug then took another sip of water.

Kyuhyun watched her. “I’m sorry.”

Heeyoung paused and blinked in confusion before turning to him. “For what?” He only silently looked at the black screen, but she understood and bit back a sigh. “The comments?”

He nodded reluctantly. “I mean, I expected it, but…”

“Kyuhyun-ah.” Her voice turned stern. She was about to say more, but took a moment to down the rest of the water left in her glass before firmly pulling his arm to turn him to face her. “I told you that doesn’t matter. I told you it doesn’t affect me.”

“I know.”

“And you saw that there wasn’t as much as we expected.”

“Yeah, but…” He huffed angrily. “It’s just…”

“Frustrating. I know.” Heeyoung moved to place both hands on his cheeks as she looked at him with a comforting smile. “Some people were also claiming to be my fans and saying things about you that I don’t agree with. There’s always going to be those people, but we agreed just to not care about them, right? There’s also a lot of support and we can focus on that instead, right?”

He only looked at her for a moment before a small smile started to form. “Right.”

Heeyoung happily grinned at his answer and leaned forward to drop a kiss on his forehead. “I love you.”

Kyuhyun gently pulled her back when she started to move away, their lips meeting for just a second. “I love you, too.” He whispered back.

@kyustan: heeyoung, tony award winner for best featured actress in a musical, watched kyuhyun’s frankenstein promotion video and fangirled for 10 minutes straight. I feel so validated
