Detention with Infinite
Clash of the PlayersEntering class, Eternity and you found Howon sitting at one of the chairs like a good student. You four decided to sit down for a while and see if anyone was going to come in. One by one, the Infinite members arrived; Sungjong being second, Sunggyu third, Dongwoo fourth, and Woohyun fifth. Sungyeol and Myungsoo were nowhere to be found. You felt bad for Howon. He did nothing to deserve detention. Finally, you saw the principal walk in with Sungyeol following her, Myungsoo in tow. Sungyeol continued to drag Myungsoo inside the class.
“Dude, let go of me.” Myungsoo said.
“No.” Sungyeol replied. “You heard what the principal said! If you don’t show up to detention, she’s calling my mom!”
“So what?!” Myungsoo asked, ripping himself away from Sungyeol’s iron grip.
“So what? My mom will kill me, that’s what! She’ll probably make sure your parents know about your situation too!” He replied. “Now sit!”
Myungsoo sat down without any more questions. His parents finding out that their son was at detention because he pranked a few girls at school a few weeks back was the last thing he wanted them to know. He’s already built a very stable trust with his parents so that whenever he came home late from the club, they wouldn’t question him about it.
“For detention the entire week, you eleven will be on cleaning duties.” She announced.
“Cleaning duty?!” Everyone repeated.
“Yes, you’ll be assigned to a certain task to accomplish during the two hours of detention.” She clarified. “I will put you in groups to get the job done.”
“Wait, principal,” You spoke up, “Howon oppa did nothing to deserve being punished. He wasn’t part of any of this.”
“Is that true Howon?” She asked. “I was curious as to why you were here. Is it true that you weren’t part of the pranking?”
“I was.” He confirmed.
Both Infinite and Eternity were curious as to why he admitted to being part of the pranks when he wasn’t even responsible.
“I see… Well, even the best of students make mistakes. I just never thought you'd be one of them." The principal whispered the last part.
Howon didn't look away from her confused gaze.
"Anyway, Dongwoo, Sungyeol, and Eunhee are assigned to mopping the gym floor. Sungjong, Myungsoo, and Sunggyu are to clean the basketballs, volleyballs, tennis balls, and dodge balls outside and then bring them into the gym as well. Misun, Howon, and Miyoung will be stamping books. Woohyun and ~~~ will be stacking the books onto the shelves in the library. I will meet everyone at the gym at the end of the two hours.”
Everyone nodded and the principal left.
“Dude, this really .” Sungyeol said.
“Tell me about it. Now everyone in the entire school – including the principal – thinks that I’m a huge ert.” Woohyun sighed.
“Because you are.” Eunhee said.
He ignored her. “What will all of the girls at school will think of me now?! The whole bra situation put the wrong image of me into their heads!”
“I don’t see the difference.” Eunhee pointed out. “They already know you’re a player, what’s wrong with knowing that you’re a ert as well?”
“It’s wrong because I’m not one!”
“Pfft, yeah sure. Keep telling yourself that ‘cause I am not convinced.” She said.
“I kind of regret it, but after seeing Eternity’s reactions make it totally worth it.” Sunggyu admitted.
“Yeah, you should’ve seen yours!” Misun countered.
The bickering between Misun and Sunggyu only stopped when everyone had to disperse into their groups to clean, or else it would’ve gone on for another hour or so.
First, Dongwoo, Sungyeol, and Eunhee headed to the gym to mop the floors. There were already buckets of soapy and pure water and mops ready in the center of the gym. Sungyeol divided the floor among the three of them, him and Dongwoo getting a tiny part
