Hi Ningning,
My mother saw the new envelopes that I bought yesterday. She was getting my laundry earlier this morning and happened to saw them lying on top of one of my drawers.
She asked me about it as I was getting some snacks this afternoon. I didn't bother lying nor cover it up. Writing to someone shouldn't be something to be embarrassed about. But of course I didn't drop any name for the fear of the teasing that I would get from her and my father.
So this seventeenth letter somehow tells you that I write these words at the comfort of my room without any fear and no reason to hide.
