Joohyun was surprised to hear Jennie at the other end of the line - nung nag-ring whatsapp niya with an unfamiliar number, akala niya si Seulgi ulit.
She and Seulgi just finished their video call minutes ago, kaya nag-alala siya nung inalert ulit siya sa whatsapp.
"Bakit ka napatawag? Is everything okay? May nangyari ba kay Seul?" she asked, worried.
Jennie felt both a jolt of happiness and a twinge of heartache - happiness because she can sense Joohyun's genuine concern for Seulgi, but there was also this painful reminder that Seulgi almost already officially belongs to Joohyun. When they go back sa 'Pinas, alam niya Joohyun would be ready and willing to go all in for Seulgi.
"Seul's okay. Her mom's still in a coma, but they're coping better with it now."
"Good to know. So bakit ka biglang napatawag Jen?"
Jennie took a deep breath.

Jennie then told Joohyun about the request of Seulgi's father.
