Byul walked to the bus stop and looked at the time which showed a few minutes after 9. The street was lonely and there were not many people there.

Byul sighed as she tried to keep herself warm by rubbing her hands together

Few minutes later:

“Jogi” Byul called to a passer by

“Neh?” the guy replied

“Won’t the buses come now?” she asked

“Now? They don’t stay in service after 8pm and they’ll be here only by 3am” the guy said as Byul nodded bowing

“Khansanmidah” she said as the guy bowed back and walked away

“Nothing could go worse” she muttered walking towards home.

Byul walked the lonely street, now entering a lonely lane when she heard footsteps behind her. Byul slowly turned back to see a drunk guy behind her

“Nothing’s gonna happen, everything is alright…he is just a helpless drunk” she chanted walking faster when

“JOGI!!” the guy called as Byul walked away without turning back

“WAIT A MINUTE, MISS” the guy called as Byul continued walking when someone grabbed her hand and turned her around

*I’m dead* she thought slowly opening her eyes

“M-Mingyu?” she muttered as Mingyu looked at her

“I told you it’s dangerous to walk alone at night” he said as Byul sighed, relieved

“Where’s that drunkard?” she asked looking behind him as Mingyu looked at her hand which he was holding

“Thank god he’s gone!” she said happily

Byul awkwardly looked at Mingyu holding her hand

*Mino & Byul forever? Bwo? Dafug forever* Mingyu thought as he let go of her hand

“I’m dropping you home” Mingyu said walking with her

“I guess tonight I’ll have to let you” she sighed

“How have you been?” Mingyu asked as Byul nodded

“I’m good, you?” she asked as Mingyu smiled

“You’d know better” he said as Byul looked at him

“Neh?” she asked

“Nothing” he said continuing to look straight

“You changed” Mingyu said
“You too” Byul answered

“I never tried to stay the same” Mingyu said as Byul looked at him and then looked away

“When did you shift?” he asked

“a year back I guess” she said as Mingyu nodded

“I’ll walk you home every night” Mingyu said as Byul looked at him

“Aniya it’s really okay” she said smiling

“I never asked” Mingyu said walking ahead as Byul rolled her eyes

*What’s made him so cold! Damn Kim Mingyu! At least I deserve some respect since I am your tutor!*

SOON:

“Thanks for walking me home, go home straight oh?” Byul said as Mingyu looked at her wrist

“That’s bracelet, doesn’t look good on you, throw it” Mingyu said as Byul glared at him

“Bwo? YAH! MY MINO GAVE ME THIS AND YOU CALL—”

“Your Mino?” Mingyu said as Byul gulped

“J-just go” she said

“So you guys are dating?” he asked as Byul looked at him

“Think whatever you want to think” Byul said

“That’s what I have been doing for the past 3 years, that’s why I am a pabo” Mingyu said as Byul looked at him

“I-I didn’t mean to offend you or anything” she muttered as Mingyu turned and walked away

“A-Are you leaving?” she asked as Mingyu looked at her

“That should be me” he said leaving Byul confused
