Saturday Afternoon

Tommy and Max had no idea what these Asian people were talking about. Their new father, Jongdae or whatever his real name was, was speaking the same language he had used whilst talking with Mihee. And while the little girl seemed to be completely tuned into what they were talking about once she woke up, the boys were absolutely clueless.

They knew for a fact, however, that everyone was angry at their new dad. In fact, they didn't remember anyone ever being as mad at someone as these people were at Jongdae. They hid behind him again after they were introduced, trying to avoid the piercing glare of a certain tall blonde staring at them as if they were aliens from Mars.

"You don't give a damn?" a boy with plush lips and olive skin asked. "Well then, how do you expect to pay for their flights home? I'm not paying for them, Jongdae. They're your responsibility now."

"I know they are," their new father replied. "That's why I'm going to be the one paying for them. I know Joonmyun's bank account number, and I accessed it to pay for their tickets. I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

"I don't think they like us," Max whispered to his brother.

"Does it matter?" Tommy hushed back. "As long as appa feeds us, I don't care."

Mihee held onto Jongdae as the olive skinned young man came closer. A boy with doe like eyes scurried up right behind him. Jongdae held Mihee closer as the two examined her, their eyes boring into her like knives. The one with the doe eyes reached out to move one of her pigtails out of her face, the wind having blown it into her eyes.

"She's adorable, Jongdae," he said. "Mihee, right?"

"Yeah." Jongdae her hair. "Isn't she lovely, Kyungsoo? More of a doll than you are."

"I can't argue with that," the one called Kyungsoo smiled. He held his hand out to her. "Hi, pumpkin." Mihee must have thought he was a ert or something, because she hugged Jongdae even tighter and hid her face in his neck. "Ok then. Nice to meet you too."

"Kris, your face is scaring my sons," Jongdae suddenly snapped. "Keep your face for someone else, ya hear?"

Kris approached the butler, giving him a hard glare. He slowly kneeled down afterwards to be at level with the boys. He held his hand up. "High five. You and I are going to make your father's life hell. What d'ya say?"

"Kris!" Tao cried. "Don't let your iness rub off on them! I'll have to punish you alongside Jongdae!"

"A Wushu master and butler with a mop against my fist. How frightening." Kris turned back to the boys and held his hand out. Tommy and Max shook it hesitantly in turn. There was something about Kris that they liked right off the bat despite his glare; his over inflated ego. It matched theirs.

Kai rubbed his forehead. Mihee reached out and tapped it with her finger, as if she could soak up the pain for him. Miraculously, her rhythmed tapping eased the upcoming headache. It was like a little massage. Jongdae grinned when Kai smiled. Oh yeah, she had won him over just like she had won over the butler.

Kyungsoo, Jongdae noticed, seemed to be fascinated by her. The doll suddenly remembered how Sehun had talked to him about adopting a child, and now that Jongdae had done it, he was wondering if he could too. He felt awfully jealous that the butler had such an adorable little Korean girl in his possession and he didn't.

But Jongdae, unlike Kyungsoo (and the doll would have to admit this,) was much more responsible. Having been taking care of other things more than himself, the butler was used to caring for precious objects. A child wasn't a toy, and while Jongdae was more than capable of raising one, Kyungsoo wasn't so sure if he and Kai were. Especially since Kai was trying to return the feeling of attraction between him and Mihee by making funny faces. While he was impressed by her, she was not impressed by him.

Jongdae turned around a little, moving Mihee from Kai's view. The boss' son was like going to be a bad influence on her if he kept up the clown act. His new position, however, made her finally see Chanyeol, and Mihee almost started crying when the accountant smiled at her. Baekhyun facepalmed. Out of all the times Chanyeol could smile like a creep, this was not a good time.

"Appa!" Mihee sniffed. "Get that weirdo away from me!"

"Yah!" Jongdae hissed. "Derpyeol! Stop frightening my child!"

"What am I doing wrong?" Chanyeol asked, smile vanishing. He looked at Baekhyun for help. "All I did was smile!" Baekhyun raised an eyebrow. "Oh...woops."

"We should get going," Tao spoke up. "We have," he paused to look at the time on his phone, "an hour to pack. If we leave for the airport any later than that, we'll miss our flight."

"Appa," Mihee started, poking Jongdae's cheek, "are we going to fly in an airplane?" She pointed to the sky then.

"Yes, yes we are," the butler answered. He looked down at Tommy and Max. "You boys are packed for the trip, right?"

"Sir, yes, sir!" the boys replied, saluting him.

"Appa, how do you say 'plane' in Korean?" Tommy asked. If he was going to live in Korea, he might as well start learning the language now.

"'Pyeongmyeon,'" Jongdae answered. "Tao's right. Let's go!"

Kai led the group back to the Fairmont hotel. The gates to the Falls were now open, and Mihee chatted on and on about them as they walked by them. Tommy and Max just wanted her to shut up and both boys covered their ears. When Kyungsoo looked back at them, he couldn't help but chuckle at the twins. Those two were going to be trouble for their new little sister.

When they walked back into the Fairmont, the three little kids gasped. Never in their lives would they have imagined staying in a place like this. Tommy and Max ran off to check out what was going on in the hotel's restaurant, Tao kindly chasing after them so Jongdae could take care of Mihee. Kris went along with his panda, mumbling about 'kids these days.'

Jongdae seperated from the others with Mihee in his arms, going off towards the elevators. Baekhyun and Chanyeol went along after him, leaving Kyungsoo and Kai alone. The younger watched them go, head cocked to the side, wondering how on earth the butler was stupid enough to go out and adopt some kids.

"They're wonderful," Kyungsoo whispered. "And Jongdae looks so much happier, wouldn't you say?"

"Yes," Kai agreed. "But I disagree on the 'wonderful' part." His eyes ventured out to Tao and Kris who were desperately trying to catch Tommy and Max.

The redheads were running around all over the place in the restaurant. Kris didn't know whether he should just grab Tao and make a run for it, or claim the kids before the two got arrested. Max ducked under someone's table and ended up in the skirts of a middle aged woman. She screamed in horror as he darted out from underneath.

Max stopped in front of Kris. "I saw London, I saw France! I saw some fat lady's underpants!"

"Aish." Kris scooped him up and flung him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He looked as Tao dove to catch Tommy's ankle. The boy was heading straight for the buffet tables, trying to snatch a breakfast biscuit. "Tao! Catch the devil!"

"I'm trying!" The raven haired teen landed on his stomach, fingers centimeters away from Tommy. The boy escaped him. "I really didn't want to do this."

Tao sprung up and jumped Wushu style. It was the first time Kyungsoo had had the privelage of seeing this remarkable display. Max's mouth dropped open, as well as the doll's, as Tao flew in the air like a bird. He spun around in midair like a figure skater, landing right in front of Tommy so the boy slammed into him. He picked him and held him tightly. The kid drooled.

"That was so wicked! Do it again! Do it again!"

"Next time," Tao nonchalantly told the rascal. He picked up a biscuit and stuffed it into Tommy's mouth. "Kris, let's take them up to our room."

Kai closed Kyungsoo's mouth gently as Tao and Kris walked away with the boys. He knew the older would be shocked by seeing Tao's skills. The teen was rather a quiet boy, and noone would ever guess he was capable of such things. But if Kai had learned anything, especially with Kyungsoo, it was not to judge books by their cover.

Kai draped his arm around Kyungsoo and led him towards the staircase. The two took the stairs two at a time in silence. Kyungsoo kept replaying Tao's awesome Wushu skills in his head, as well as thinking about kids. Why wasn't he a girl? He'd be pregnant by now after the many times he and Kai had had .

Kai pushed open their room's door as soon as they got to it. He felt around his pocket for his phone. Lo and behold, he had missed eighteen calls while walking back to the Fairmont from the Falls. All from his father, but one. There was one from Taemin, and Kai contemplated whether or not he should call him back. Meh. Maybe later.

Kyungsoo looked in the mirror of the bathroom. His face was still a little red from the coffee, and a blister was forming on the very side near his ear. He scowled. Great. If that damn thing popped, it would hurt like hell. And right near his ear too! Come on! Like he totally needed this right now! He searched around for a bandaid with a pout on his face.

"Doll face!" Kai called. "I'm going to pack for you, ok?"

Kyungsoo unpackaged a bandaid as soon as he found it. Why did it have a Mickey Mouse design on it?! "Don't bother! I can do it myself." He bit his lip as he stuck the bandaid onto the blister. It already hurt like hell...

"I insist that I do!"

"I insist that you don't! I'm coming out of the bathroom, Kai, and I don't want you to," he stopped in the doorway when he saw Kai already zipping both suitcases up, completely packed, "pack for me."

Kai picked up both suitcases and held Kyungsoo's out to him. He smirked. "Done. And I think I deserve a kiss for all that hard work."

"I didn't ask you to work hard," Kyungsoo replied, rolling his eyes. "This was voluntary. Thus, no payment is due. Ha. Ha. Ha."

"Yah!" Kai grabbed Kyungsoo and pressed himself against the doll. "I totally deserve a kiss. Come on, doll face. Don't make me beg." He immediately regretted saying that when Kyungsoo gave him his own smirk. "Don't make me beg, doll face, please!"

"I'd actually very much like to hear that," Kyungsoo chuckled. "You want a kiss, Jonginnie? Do you really want a kiss from sweet little me?"

"Yes!" Kai squeaked. He formed two fists and brought them to his cheeks, about to steal Tao's buing buing method. "Can kitty have a kiss?"

"Since when are you a kitty?" Kyungsoo laughed. He stood on his toes and planted a large kiss on the younger's kiss. It was the type of kiss that left a 'mwah' sound after the older pulled away.

Kai smiled like an idiot. "Kitty can purr now. Purrrr."

"You're a creeper. I don't know how Mihee found Chanyeol scary, and not you." Kyungsoo walked over to the door as he said it.

He opened it. Kai walked past him into the hallway and started walking down it. Kyungsoo stepped out as well, only to stop. He took a look back into the hotel room to see if they hadn't forgotten anything, and also to see it for one last time. It was rather a very nice room, and he had gotten accustomed to it for the small time they were here.

Cozy and fancy. The Kims' house had the fancy essence to it, but not the cozy. The only place Kyungsoo really liked in that house was Kai's room, but not other than that, there was no other place he was comfortable in. Kyungsoo sighed as he soaked in the image of the hotel room of the Fairmont. He was going to miss this place.

"Doll face! Come on! To the lobby, ahoy!"

Kyungsoo lowered his gaze with a heavy heart. Sighing once more, he shut the door to the hotel room. He scurried over to Kai and the two continued the journey down the hall. And since they had suitcases with them, Kai had to do what he really didn't want to do. They had to go downstairs on the dreaded elevator.

When the doors opened, there was no old lady there. Kai gasped with relief. Oh, thank heavens! He wouldn't be able to stand with that lady in such a cramped space again. He swore he had become claustrophobic just because of her. That creepy old hag...he really hoped she hadn't been in here when Jongdae took the elevator to his floor with Mihee.

They were the first ones in the lobby this time. Kyungsoo sat himself down onto a couch, gazing around at the lobby. He really didn't want to leave. Couldn't they just follow Baekhyun's advice and stay here? Live here? That's what they had wanted to do since the moment they first walked into the main lobby.

Kai sat down beside him, suitcase in between his legs. The two rolled their eyes to the chandelier hanging from up above. Kyungsoo seemed so infatuated by it that Kai decided right then and there to replace the one in his living room back home to one like this one. It would be like a little piece of the Fairmont hotel.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun came up to them then, Tommy on Chanyeol's shoulders. Tao had passed the kid onto the accountant, and even though the redhead had begged not to be given to 'Derpyeol,' Chanyeol managed to grasp onto him. Tommy had given up fighting and hugged Chanyeol's head, sometimes purposely covering the man's eyes so he couldn't see. Chanyeol tried to restrain his anger.

"I hate Jongdae for adopting this brat," he hissed more to himself than anyone else. Baekhyun heard him and gave him a glare.

Tommy pulled on Chanyeol's hair. "Horsey! Forward, march!"

"I hate my life!" the accountant cried. He picked Tommy off of his shoulders and sat him onto Kyungsoo's lap. "Take this fiend away from me!"

Tommy grabbed Kyungsoo's nose and squeezed it. "Honk honk!" Kyungsoo laughed to the boy's surprise. He expected him to be annoyed, not to find it funny. And Tommy loved annoying people.

"Jongdae, I hate your new kids," Kris said as he entered the lobby with Tao and Kris. Max was stuck to Kris' leg like glue, hugging it and refusing to let go.

Jongdae put Mihee down and pried Max away. Eunhyuk walked in at that moment, Kai having called him to see if he could drive them to the airport. When he saw Jongdae holding Max, his mouth dropped. Since when did the butler have kids?! Was he married too?! Eunhyuk rubbed the back of his neck, dazed.

Kai waved him over and stood up from the couch. Eunhyuk's mouth dropped all the way down to his chin as he observed the kids. Jongdae gave him a sheepish grin before handing his luggage over to the driver. Eunhyuk took it, gaze locked on the children, and scrambled out of the hotel. Kai snickered at the driver's urgency.

Kyungsoo took one more look at the lobby before all of the vacationers left the hotel for good. Kai had rented out a limo again despite the protests of everyone, so they all fit just fine. Mihee climbed from Jongdae's lap onto Tao's, pulling on the teen's raven hair. It took Tao all of his mental stability he acquired from Wushu not to explode.

"Appa!" she suddenly cried, jumping back onto Jongdae and pointing out the window. "Look! An eagle!"

Jongdae leaned back to be better able to see outside. "Would you look at that, it is. Boys, an eagle."

"Where?!" they demanded in sync. Both boys climbed over Kris to get to the window, and the blonde closed his eyes, trying to find serenity.

"Kris..." Tao started.

"Must. Keep. Calm," the older told himself. Tommy was standing on his knees trying to see over him, and Max was literally on top of his head.

Kyungsoo covered a coy smile with his hand. He had a feeling poor Kris was going to be suffering during the entire trip back. The redheads had obviously chosen him as the target of their shananigans, and though it was quite sad to watch, it was also very amusing. Kyungsoo fought the laughter begging to be released from his mouth.

Eunhyuk sped along to the airport, cutting through traffic like the experienced driver he was. The rest of the trip went by extremely fast for everyone, except Kris, of course. He spent the half an hour of driving trying not to explode as Tommy and Max continued to climb over him as if he were some sort of mountain. Kyungsoo knew they were totally doing it to push the blonde's buttons.

When they got to the airport, Kris was the first one out of the limo, pushing the redheads off of himself and to the floor. Tao had to literally step over the giggling twins so he could catch up to his lover. Jongdae flashed a pleading look to Baekhyun and Chanyeol, and the chauffeur and accountant each picked up a rascal, crying in their heads.

Mihee received a piggy back ride on her new appa's back. It was clear that she was Jongdae's favorite, and though Kyungsoo didn't exactly think favoritism was a good approach, he could see why. Mihee behaved. Mihee was sweet. Mihee was adorable. The perfect child. And once again, Kyungsoo found himself wondering whether he and Kai would ever decide to adopt.

They filed into the airport behind a nerve wrecked Kris. Eunhyuk followed after them with all the luggage he could carry. Since kids were now a part of the group, he had a few extra suitcases to carry, but the driver didn't mind. He still had that tiny crush on Jongdae, and if he appeared as a gentleman in the eyes of the butler, that was good enough for him.

Kris volunteered to get the boarding passes, escaping from the boys who were coming towards him like zombies after Baekhyun and Chanyeol set them down onto the floor. Kyungsoo couldn't hold his laughter in anymore; it was too funny. Kris bolted for the airline's check in station, and the redheads simply followed him into the line. Kris spent the next five minutes acquiring the passes while trying to shake his legs away from the grasps of the boys.

Mihee gently pulled on Jongdae's hair. "Appa! I'm hungry!"

Jongdae took her off of his shoulders and held her like a little baby instead so he could see her face. "Hm. Well, there are a few cafes around here. Want to get something to nibble on?"

Mihee nodded. "But can Kai oppa take me?"

Kai's eyes widened. "Me? Oh, no no no. No thank you, kiddo."

"Mihee, why Kai?" Jongdae laughed, seeing the ridiculous expression of disapproval on Kai's face.

"Kai oppa is handsome," was the reply.

"Chanyeol oppa is handsome too," the accountant cut in.

Mihee shook her head. "Chanyeol oppa is creepy."

They didn't have anymore time to argue who took Mihee where. Kris ran (or, tried to run since the boys were still clinging to him like leeches) back with the boarding passes in his hands. The plane had apparently arrived earlier than expected, and they had only a small amount of time to get to the gate before it left again.

Chanyeol pried both Tommy and Max away from Kris and flung them over his shoulders like sacks of potatoes. The two redheads laughed. Their ride on Chanyeol's shoulders was bumpy, for the accountant ran with a speed only his long legs could muster. The other boys followed close behind, w
