Foreword
Looking out into the moonlight, Jaeseop let out a deep sigh before closing the big thick book in front of him. Picking up his wine glass he went back into his thought until he heard footsteps heading his way. Turning his head towards the sliding doors opening he came face to face with Jongdae.
“Hey,” he greeted. “What are you doing up? Can’t Sleep?”
“One of many things, yeah. Mind if I join you?”
Gesturing towards the empty seat in front of him, Jongdae sat down not without forgetting to fetch himself his own glass. As he poured his own glass of wine, Jaeseop went back to his thinking.
‘What am I going to do? What does Jongdae’s vision mean? Is the portal going to reopen? If so, then how?’
“Hyung.”
Snapping out of his thought, Jaeseop look towards his baby brother’s innocent face. He knew that face anywhere, and it meant something was wrong. “I’m sorry. Just spaced out. What’s up?”
“Is it true?”
“What is?”
“About the portal?”
Nodding in understanding Jaeseop knew that there was no way to lighten that load, so he decided to just tell the truth. “Ok, you got me. I’m not going to lie to you. From your vision, to the tarot, to the reopening of the old Bang Estate. There is a dark force out there, one that's out for us until we're dead.”
“But can’t we stop them I mean we are the most powerful witches to exist.”
“Yeah well the problem is, is that we don’t know who this person is. All we know is that they want the portal open. And when it's open, who knows what will be waiting on the other side for us.”
“But we had destroyed the key, I remembered.”
“Well according to you vision there seems to be another key or something. The point is, is that I have to find a way to stop this from happening.”
“No.”
“What?”
“We are going to do this,” Jongdae said as he grab his brother’s hand. “Together.”
