Being a teenager is a weird time. Everything is the biggest deal in the world, make one mistake and you're enemies with your best friend, your first love is your last love. It's all so dramatic and confusing. Yixing tells him it's not like a drama, but Taekwoon honestly begs to differ.

❝they're . . . different.❞
Jung Taekwoon moves to a new town. New town, new school, new people. No parents to speak of, not even his sisters—only his next-door neighbor AKA the one that reports to his oldest sister (but why not his parents?) about how he's doing.
He makes fast (unwanted, completely unwanted) friends with eating-all-his-food Kim Jongdae and then with clingy-and-annoying Cha Hakyeon—not to mention several other people he never wants to know.
And then he starts making friends with the wrong people—or that's what the others say. Taekwoon doesn't like being told who he can be with or where he can go and he wonders; just what is so bad about these five strange kids that are everywhere he goes?
Mostly, he just wishes everyone would leave him alone, but now he's interested. And with his long-distance best friend Zhang Yixing badgering him constantly about good behavior and respecting your elders, he doesn't know who he wants to be around anymore.
