If I had known right there and then that this was the boy who would grow up to break my heart beyond repair,

maybe I would've ignored that piece of tissue on the floor. 

Maybe I would've gone home early.

 Maybe I would've just stayed home in the first place - even though I would probably go out eventually.

But I didn't know; couldn't know. So instead, I shrugged and said, "Why not?"

And proceeded to fall totally, madly, crazy in love...
