Two MoonsTired but quite happy, Siyeon left the classroom, her bag shouldered and her jacket in her one hand. The exams for the regular classes were over and she hadn't any worries that she would fail at them. The tests had been very easy, strangely, but now Siyeon had other things to worry about. The next exams were in the following week and up until now she barely had made any progress with her shields and with her attacks, even though she had practiced hard every day, mostly without the help of Sehun or any of the others though.
Every time she had tried to create a shield, it had appeared for a few seconds, before it had disappeared. Her slow progress frustrated her a bit but the only thing she could do was to keep going on. “Hurry hurry,” she mumbled to herself as she ran down the chairs. Just in time she stopped herself before she had the chance to run into Jooyeon, who got accompanied by Nadia, Fin and Kamir. She seemed to be surprised as well, taking from her wide eyes, but then her expression changed to her usual arrogant and presumptuous face.
“Look who we have here, the teacher's pet.”
That was a new nickname Siyeon haven't heard of yet, probably because Jooyeon just had made it up. “What do you want from me? I don't have time,” Siyeon said but as she wanted to walk past Nadia, the tall girl grabbed her arm and stared at her with a cold gaze. “You don't have time, don't kid me. You have time now.”
Jooyeon stepped closer so that there barely was any space between her and Siyeon. Nearly casually she laid her hand on Siyeon's shoulder, an evil grin on her face. “You really think only because Mr. Zhang likes you so much you can be around students like Sehun? A low born human like Mageíya like you. Tch it's so hilarious that you think you could ever be friends with them.”
For a moment, Siyeon was utterly confused. Did Jooyeon really thought that she and Sehun and his friends were so close to call each other friends? “Are you jealous?” Siyeon asked immediately and something in Jooyeon's eyes changed. “Why should I be jealous of you? I know them since we are kids. There is no need to be jealous.” Her words were hisses and just as poisonous as a snake.
“Then why do you sound like you are jealous?” The strange thing was that Siyeon never had feared Jooyeon. Yes, she maybe was a lot more powerful and maybe she had more influence but if someone would take that away from her, then she was the same as Siyeon.
Pain shot through Siyeon's head as Jooyeon grabbed her by her collar and slammed her against the wall. For someone so slim as her, Jooyeon was quite strong, much to Siyeon's surprise. “Watch your mouth, scum. This is my last warning to you. Stay away from them. In fact, just leave the school already. No one wants you hear.” She nearly choked Siyeon and as Jooyeon let go of her, Siyeon had to gasp for air silently.
“this is my last warning to you, understand?” Turning on her heels, Jooyeon walked down the hallway with fluttering hair, her people directly behind her. A few students had watched the scene but none of them tried anything to help Siyeon. In fact, some of them stared at her with a erse satisfaction, some others looked at her with cold indifference. Very few looked at her with pity and those immediately looked down as they noticed that Siyeon looked back.
Raging anger grew in Siyeon.
