Because there was no school today, Minjeong had been sleeping all day and was woken up by the multiple vibrations and dings from her phone. She didn't know when she was added to the four main characters' group chat, but all she could do was groggily sit up and rub her eyes.

"I guess it's only natural for that to happen since this world assigned me to become a main character now..."

Minjeong sighed as she shifted her eyes to look at the time and realized it was already 3 p.m. She flinched upon seeing this and double-checked by looking at her wall clock to confirm the time.

Ah, I overslept.

Well, thank goodness those four decided to chat. Otherwise, Minjeong would've missed the chance to finally hear Jimin play her legendary violin. She couldn't help but smile at the thought until her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts about the latter.

When she saw who was calling, Minjeong immediately stood up, cleared , and answered the call. She made sure not to sound too sleepy, but the caller was still observant enough to notice.

"Minjeong, did you just wake up?"

Aware that lying against this girl was useless, Minjeong sighed. "Yeah."

"Huh, were you not planning on going?"

Jimin sounded sad, causing Minjeong to stand up straight and violently shake her head. "I just overslept! I told you, didn't I? You have my full support!"

Minjeong said in determination, which caused the other end to fall into silence for a few seconds.

That silence only got broken off once Minjeong heard an old lady faintly calling for Jimin.

The latter wasn't certain who this person was, but she had the idea that it could be Jimin's grandmother.

Knowing the old lady was one of the reasons why her precious character would become depressed throughout the story, thinking about it gives Minjeong the irk.

"I'm sorry, I have to go."

"Mhm, it's okay."

"...You are coming, right?"

"For sure!"

"Then I'll see you later, bye-bye."

As soon as the call ended, Minjeong released a long sigh and facepalmed at herself. She's been so focused on trying to catch up with the changes in this world and thinking about Aeri and Junwoo's scenarios that she almost forgot about Jimin's dark arc with her grandmother.

Ahh, I can't believe I wrote that.

A lot of it involves Jimin hurting herself and being alone in a corner to suffer. Minjeong couldn't help but recall a scene where Jimin stood dangerously at the end of a pier, finding solace in the destructive waves, silently battling her inner turmoil.

Despite Junwoo secretly watching over her in that scene, making sure she doesn't fall off, and comforting her, it left Jimin deeply depressed, leading her to miss classes for a whole month.

During those months, Junwoo became Jimin's source of motivation and solace, deepening her love for him. Even so, Jimin's pure heart led her to sacrifice her own happiness, choosing to step aside so Aeri could be with Junwoo.

Minjeong huffed at the scenario and shook her head. Since the current event she was invited to wasn't depicted in the webtoon, dwelling on it felt pointless. She shifted her focus to the present, rummaging through her wardrobe for suitable attire.

After a few minutes of searching to no avail, she furrowed her brows.

The Kim Minjeong in this world only has casual, plain clothes. Not even a set of clothes for each type of occasion. With a groan, Minjeong opted for the next best option and reluctantly made her way downstairs to where her mother was engrossed in her usual favorite FPS game.

"Clothes? You- AHH! You son of a !" Ms. Kim suddenly cursed at the teammate who accidentally killed her, causing the latter to flinch. "Oh, sorry about that, baby... Anyway, you can just take whatever you want inside my closet."

As her mother laughed away, Minjeong tried her best to act as her daughter and stayed unfazed. Thankfully, her younger brother was at primary school. Not that her mother cared if Sunoo heard her cursing; she believed he was mature enough to understand it was a bad word.

Once inside her parents' room closet, Minjeong sifted through numerous options before settling on a simple yet stylish outfit.

"Guys, can I talk about something weird? It's been bugging me a lot."

Aeri walked between Yizhuo and Junwoo, her steps matching theirs. Lately, her mind had been crowded with thoughts, leaving her feeling confused and uneasy.

As close friends, Yizhuo and Junwoo nodded, attentive to her words. Aeri took a deep breath, glancing at them before speaking.

"I think I like two people."

Aeri hesitantly admitted, prompting chuckles from her two friends. Initially puzzled, they didn't fully grasp her meaning and doubted her words. However, when Aeri sighed heavily at their reactions and added an unexpected detail, both Yizhuo and Junwoo halted mid-step, their expressions changing instantly.

Yizhuo, masking her unease with a smile, asked, "What? Could you repeat that?"

"I mean that romantically," Aeri clarified. "I like the first one more... but the other one is starting to kick the other one out of my head."

Junwoo, unaware of her feelings, burst into laughter and playfully wrapped an arm around her. "Bwahahaha! Seriously? No way!"

Feeling slightly flustered from Junwoo's arm, Aeri cautiously moved to stand beside Yizhuo, sighing. "I know, it's weird-weird!" She bit her lip. "Something about what they said stuck with me, and I can't shake it away!"

Noticing her best friend was careful enough not to disclose her new crush's gender, Yizhuo found it astonishing and—felt a needle struck through her heart. Is it another guy? Or maybe...a girl? Something inside Yizhuo's head hoped it was the latter, but even if it was, she was sure it wouldn't be her.

Wanting to avoid the topic, Yizhuo kept her smile and patted Aeri on the back comfortingly. "How about we talk about it later? We don't want Jiminie's invite to wait too long, do we?"

"O-Oh, right... her."

Aeri sighed as the three of them continued their walk toward the park, where they had agreed to meet. It only took them two minutes to arrive when they saw a well-dressed figure in the distance, a hand tucked into her overcoat's pocket.

No doubt, it was Minjeong.

As the three friends looked at Minjeong in shock, the latter didn't take long to spot them and sighed in relief. Feeling embarrassed and shy under the passersby's stares, she hurried over to them.

Junwoo was the first to greet her, walking around to analyze her look and giving a thumbs up. "Looking good! How come you don't dress up like this more often in school?"

Minjeong shrugged, "I don't want anyone bothering me. I'm only dressed up like this because it's a special occasion."

She answered casually as her eyes automatically met with Aeri who was staring at her as if she had seen a ghost.

Minjeong furrowed
