The Real Maknae - To Know Your True HeartThe room was in chaos. Everyone was talking at once. When a soft sound brought everything to a sudden halt - a small whimper.
"Hyung... What's wrong with him?!" - one of the alarmed boys asked Leeteuk but got no response. The leader was too focused on the fragile boy in front of him to even process someone had asked him a question.
"Kyuhyunnie..?" - he asked, tentatively - "Can you tell Hyung what's wrong?"
Slowly Kyuhyun, who had lowered his head again when the chaos started after the others got a glimpse of his face, lifted his head and looked straight at Leeteuk, eyes expectant, tears quickly running down his soft, flushed cheeks. The sight was heartbreaking and Teuk wanted to console the boy but seemed rooted to the spot - it was all just too shocking. And next thing they know, their normally mature and unflappable maknae was crying like a child. Loud sobs echoing through the room while everyone just stood there, frozen.
That is, until Leeteuk was unceremoniously shoved aside by the one person he least expected: Heechul.
Heechul hadn't been practicing with them due to his leg injury (and thoughts of leaving the group, also due to his injury). What the others didn't know is, more often than not, he'd go and watch them practice - he just didn't make his presence known. Today was one of those days.
