Waking up to the horror that made his heart stop

His eyes wide open but his body as still as a stone 

He couldn't move

When his senses came back, his knuckles turned white clutching the fabric around his blankets 

And he couldn't muffle the screams that came out from his mouth

The past few days were a bit tiresome with back to back schedules but it was nothing unusual. 

The weather was particularly cold and rainy and at night time, it was even colder. 

Getting home a bit early that afternoon, everyone decided to take quick showers and just lazily lay around in their rooms, it was getting cold again and the clouds outside were grey and angry promising a long stormy night. He was already tired and even if it meant that he was going to bed without proper dinner, he didn't mind, he can always eat later.

He silently just went to his room, slowly closing the door behind him and without even putting the lights on, he just found his bed and immediately laid down closing his eyes. Only a few minutes later, he fell asleep not knowing that he will be probably having the most horrifying night of his life.
