dare
Espresso ShotsToday's the day. It's the day that they finally have a date with each other. It's still under the guise of a friendly date, but it's a start. Minjoo suggests that they'll have a coffee date, at the exact cafe place where they first met each other.
At first, they just talk about anything and everything that comes to their mind, until Hitomi suddenly brings up something.
"How about," she says, smiling mischievously, "we do rock paper scissor?"
"For what?"
"Loser gets either a dare or truth," explains Hitomi. "But since I know you are a coward, then choosing truth over dare is alright, I guess," she adds slyly, wiggling her eyebrows up and down tauntingly.
Minjoo rolls her eyes. Even if she likes Hitomi that much, it's still unacceptable for Minjoo to be called a loser and a coward. She's just that competitive of a person.
"Game on," she declares, pumping her fist before readying herself.
It's a close battle for several rounds. At first, they play it easy: settling to a streak of truths to get to know each other better through weird questions.
"Come on," Hitomi tauntingly says after Minjoo finishes the last truth. "Are you going to choose truth again this time?"
"Excuse me? You're the one who is going to lose."
Hitomi shakes her head. "Trust me, you don't want to say that, Kim Minjoo."
