Chapter 12
Time Will Never Kill the True HeartThe two girls were just lounging on the raven hair's bed, not minding the fact that they're skipping school. "By the way... The school's annual festival is coming up. What are you gonna perform?" Hyewon asks as she stares at the ceiling.
The older girl shot up from the bed, "That's right I didn't you! I'm going to dance with Chaeyeon."
"Really? That's cool, what are you going to dance?"
Eunbi put her finger to her lips and winked, "That's a secret. You'll find out when the day comes." Suddenly a pillow hit her square on the face and she fell down backwards.
"Meanie." It was Hyewon's turn to have a pillow hit her, when she removed the poor pillow she saw Eunbi glaring at her, "Hehe sorry." She gave a peace sign. "This is good though, I heard that people from the entertainment industries like to send their people to scout for talented kids and teens. If you do well, which I know you will, you could be scouted. Eunbi is jjang!"
Eunbi just rolled her eyes before sitting next to the younger girl, but hearing the girl's words makes her feel hopeful. She held Hyewon's hand and started playing with it, "You know I also wanted to sing for the festival..."
"Then why don't you? I'm pretty sure you have a good voice.... That reminds me! I haven't heard you sing yet!" Hyewon pointed at her.
"Your loss." Eunbi flipped her hair with her hand, "How about a deal? I'll let you hear me sing many times if you do something for me."
Hyewon raised an eyebrow, "Which is?"
Eunbi clasped both of Hyewon's hands together with hers and brought themselves closer, "If you perform with me for the festival."

"No way!" Hyewon removed her hands like lightning, "I am not going up on stage to embarrass myself. Have you even heard me sing?"
"You don't have to sing, I just want you to play piano. I know you're good at it." Eunbi says whie she looks intently at the younger girl. "Please, I really need your help."
"Why don't you ask Minjoo or Yuri? They both can play piano, even better than me." Hyewon doesn't understand why it has to be her, she doesn't do well in performing in front of crowds and Eunbi wants her to do it in front of the whole school!
"Because I want you to be there playing it with me. This is our last year as highschoolers, I want to end it with something unforgettable and I want to experience that with you." Eunbi says honestly with hopeful eyes that Hyewon couldn't reject.
"If you're talking about unforgettable then ask Chaeyeon, she can play piano as well."
Eunbi crossed her arms, "I'm already dancing with her, so I want you to be the one. Do you hate me that much that you don't want to perform with me?"
What lies. They both know that Hyewon doesn't hate nor will she ever hate her. Hyewon scratched her neck, "You know I don't hate you... It's just I'm scared to be on stage with hundreds of people watching me. I'm afraid I'll ruin your performance."
Eunbi's eyes soften, she was so focused on what she wanted that she forgot about how Hyewon would feel about all of it. She went closer to her and rubed her arms, "Hey, you don't have to be afraid because I'm with you."
"Pfft- That's the most cliche line I've ever heard." Hyewon couldn't help but laugh earning her a smack on her head. "Sorry."
"Way to ruin the moment Kang-chan; anyways, I'll help you face your fears besides as I said it's our last year here. You won't even see half the people here after you graduate. How about we show them a good show and make them jealous that they've never got to know you. Make them feel guilty for ever hurting you and calling you bad things. You're gonna show them that you're way better and didn't need them!"
"I love how this was supposed to be a time for you to shine but instead it turned into a revenge plan." Hyewon couldn't help but comment making both of them laugh.
Eunbi couldn't help but agree, "Well there's that... But let's do this together. I'll help you and make the time we have left in highschool worthwhile. What do you say?"
Hyewon thought about it and the silence was killing Eunbi, "Fine."
"Yes!" Eunbi exclaimed while smiling widely, Hyewon didn't seem to regret her decision seeing the smile on Eunbi's face.
"But if I want to back out for any reason, well valid reason, then I'm out, okay?"
"Yeah yeah, sure whatever." Eunbi didn't care about whatever Hyewon had just said, all she heard was Hyewon's 'fine' and that sent her to the moon in bliss. She hugged Hyewon and buried her face to the taller girl's neck, embracing the warmth she was receiving.
''She wants to kill me in this hug, stop it! You're making me turn red!" Hyewon returned the hug but not before gay panicking, 'Why am I like this? Heart stop beating so quickly!'
Hyewon faked a cough and released the hug, "What song do you want to perform." She looked at Eunbi for an answer but Eunbi just stared at her with a derp face.
"I have no idea." Was what Eunbi replied making Hyewon face palm.
"It's okay we still have about 2 and a half months before the school festival. We have time, so for now let's go down and eat." Hyewon says since she noticed that her stomach has been rumbling since forever, it's amazing how she didn't eat right away the first time she felt it. Guess Eunbi beats food on her list.

When the two went downstairs to the kitchen they were met by a plate of food and a Japanese girl in an apron.
"Sakura? You're here?" Hyewon asks but then she remembered that the said girl would be staying at her house. "Nevermind. Did you make all of this?" She was pertaining to the kimbap, onigiri, and the french toast. Looking at it made Hyewon's mouth imaginarily drool.
"Yup, I got kinda bored so I decided to make something up. Besides I know that you would be hungry." Sakura smiles as she watches Hyewon look at the food she made with heart eyes.
Hyewon frowned hearing Sakura's words, "Why didn't you tell me you were home? I would've stayed with you." Sakura couldn't help but smile hearing how casually referred to the house as home, as if it was her home as well.
The short haired girl shook her head, "It was fine." Besides I didn't want to ruin your time with Eunbi. Speaking of Eunbi...
Sakura turned to the older girl, "Hi, I'm pretty sure you already know who I am but I'll introduce myself again. Hi I'm Miyawaki Sakura, Hyewon's old friend and fiance."
Eunbi stood there for a few seconds before replying, "I'm Kwon Eunbi. If you ever need help in school you can ask me." She let her hand out for a handshake which the Japanese girl gladly took.
'Why is Hyewon's fiance here? Isn't school still happening right now?'
As if Sakura could read her mind she said, "I was given permission from the teacher to leave early since I didn't bring any books with me. I was also feeling home sick, as you can tell I made onigiri to cheer me up." She looked at the onigiri that was once in the plate, the two older girls stared at the person who was stuffing with the rice ball.
"Ummm..." Hyewon swallowed her food, "I'm sorry, I didn't know. Do you want me to make you some?
