An Offer I Could(n’t) Resist
Something BorrowedJust in time, a knock came on Dara’s door. She quickly opened it and was met by a tall, good looking guy.
“Are you by any chance, Jiyong’s manager?” Dara asked tentatively. The guy would pass as an actor or an idol, though.
“Yes, I’m Taehee.” The man answered. “I’m sorry, I don’t know your name, Jiyong didn’t tell me what your name was.” He smiled shyly.
“Uh, I’m Sandara but you can call me Dara. I can see from here on that you are nicer than him.” She extended her hand and they shared a handshake.
After the introductions, no time was wasted. They immediately went to Taehee’s car and drove for YG. During the short drive, Dara can feel that Taehee was trying to put her at ease by making small talk.
“So, I’m nicer than Jiyong, you say? You are the only girl who prefers me over him.” He said in an amused tone.
“Well, don’t get me wrong, I am a fan of his, but man he has to work on his people skills!” I answered too fast and that earned a chuckle from the man.
“Jiyong might be a little moody but trust me, he’s a good person. He’s just going through something right now.”
Aren’t we all, she thought to herself, but just gave Taehee a noncommittal shrug. As Dara looked out the window, an immense building came into view – the building she knew very much about, being a fan of Bigbang and all.
“We’re here.” Taehee announced. “Don’t be too nervous, we’re not gonna eat you.” The man smiled, obviously sensing her discomfort. Still, she can’t believe that the universe let her meet Kwon Ji Yong
