Day XXIII

i had to leave early today because i had a schedule.

you cooked me breakfast,

i know you weren't the best cook and those burns on your hands showed it,

i was already running late, but i couldn't bring myself to leave when i saw the look in your eyes when i said no thanks.

i ended up eating everything you made.

it was delicious. it filled me up.

but i wasn't really expecting that you would hug me protectively,

in front of jessica who just came out of my room.
