Gravity
Description
"I hate you!" she screamed at him. "Go away and never come back!" She slammed the door in his face.
He turned away and dragged his feet away from the scene. His heart burdened with regrets but what could that change?
The woman, on the other hand, was lying on the floor, just a few steps away from the door she slammed shut. She was curled up on the cold hard floor, drowning in her own tears. She didn't know which one hurt her more - is it the truth? or is it his lies?
The two angels watched over as the woman continued to bawl her eyes out. One decided to break the silence, "I can't understand humans. They never mean what they say." The other shrugged her shoulders as a reply. "If the guy truly loves the woman, he won't do that to her! Right?" Another shrug.
The one sighed before continuing with another question, "Don't you ever feel curious, Summer?"
"About what?" the other finally spoke.
"How does it feel to love? How does it feel to... feel?" the angel asked again. As a celestial being, an angel never felt anything except an undivided loyalty to God and absolute obedience to His orders. "Don't you ever feel curious about it, Summer?" she tilted her head to catch the latter's gaze.
Summer finally looked at Jessica, "Don't drag me into your curious adventures, Jessica. I swear I won't help you again if you get into another trouble."
Ignoring the statement, she threw another question,
"If we are humans, do you think you would love me, Summer?"
