Why do fangirls like to ship their oppas with other oppas instead of unnis?

I don't understand this mentality. I know that world is taken on by the homoual storm but still I don't understand why fan girls would want their oppas to date guys instead of girls. I mean, why don't they want their oppas to be normal?

Oh honey if normal now is to be an outrageously heteroual cis individual sign me up for the freak club and fyi i'll be bringing all your oppas and unnies with me.
Please stay here within the normality of your smol enclosed perspective, your fellow homophobes will love you.

Well this is straight homophobic.. are you well aware that this is the 21st century and being gay is absoloutly normal? Let me explain it to you though.. When a fangirl starts to like one oppa who is pretty, girly and petite he becomes her bias. Then she starts to like another oppa! He's tall, manly and y. And what could this fangirl like even more than both of her fave oppas do stuff u can read about in fanfictions? Fangirls are that way.. especially teenagers. Why would you read a fic with your oppa doing the dirty with a girl? (Eww) when you can read a fic where oppa does it with the other oppa you like very much. Then you get obsessed with it and woala, all you can wish is for them to marry and have babies.

To be honest I don't really see homouality as 'unnatural' *its actually discovered in quite a few species other than human*. And to answer your question....

People like what they like. True I may write about my favorite male artists paired with a male OC as an example, but I don't view myself as 'weird' or 'unnatural' like some people think all boyxboy shippers are. I just merely have an interest in the pairings is all ^^ Not a . Not a kink. An interest like anybody else has on Earth.

Plus I think it's pretty cool so many fans have imagination. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes of our favorite guys and gals in the Kpop/Jrock etc world: So thus, we come up with our own 'what ifs' and write them in the form of fanfiction.

I hope I clarified that? ^^;

I am actually a proud NAMSONG shipper! Kekeke and i have never shipped any other oppa to another before so namsong is my first kpop BL ship.. their chemistry is just undeniable~ their physical appearance screams bromance! Like namdiva looking so slender and fab and my bae mino with all that swag and oozing with manliness! Yupppp! Namsong is definitely REAL for this sinner circle! LOL

I love how you're so against guys being shipped with guys ... yet you haven't said anything about girls being shipped with girls .................

I'm sure its different for everyone. I totally understand that you find this mentality weird. The fact is, everybody has a weird or kink, or maybe its just some sort of guilty pleasure. We might not share the same opinion on shipping guys with each other, but how sure are you the rest of the world is gonna 'understand YOUR mentality'? You must have your own wild imaginations as well, and I respect that, so I hope you would do the same to all of us :)

Homouality is normal. Maybe its becasue we see these people mainly in their repected groups (which generally are devided) so it's just easier to ship them with their band memebrs becasue thats who we see them with most of the time.
With that said, i can totally ship two guys who probably don't even know of the others existence let alone in the same band with each other.
Plus im a major fujoshi and have grown up qith shounen ai and so thats probably why i ship guys with guys :3

Homouality is just as normal as heterouality.
Now that we have established that, I assume it's because most ships is within either boy group or girl groups which means the dynamic between members are very public. You have the same members and get to see their friendship and how they act around the other members. It's not a "wish for oppa not to be normal" but because it's easy to see the dynamic between two members, which makes relationship very easy to imagine. I'm pretty sure most of these fangirls would love to date their oppa as well - which of course means that their oppa has to be anything but homoual.
