“Oh, really?” Sehun questioned as he clasped his hands together before leaning closer towards me, making me step an inch backwards, but it only made him come closer. “If so, which of the two reasons is the reason why you went here?” He raised a brow and eyed me playfully, teasing me as much as he could, making me frown slightly.
“Neither,” I replied, my voice filled was obviously with embarrassment. Is there another reason of why I came here? I thought to myself—even if there is another reason, I don’t think I know, I don’t think I would ever know. Well, aside from my mother forcing me. But I don’t think there’s a reason of why I whole-heartedly agreed.
“C’mon, I’m sure you have a reason why,” he halted his words before winking at me. “I’m pretty sure you’re here because of the second reason, I am right, right?”
His sentence caused me to blush slightly, but I also felt somehow offended since I am nowhere to being a and I will never intend on flirting with him. “Are you saying that I’m—never mind.”
Sehun frowned and immediately shook his head in disapproval. “No, that’s far from what I think of you.” I then asked, “Then what do you think of me?”
What I said caused him to grin widely, his eyes even twinkled and it showed a hint of childishness. Like what everyone said, he is someone really attractive in the eye. It is impossible for a girl not to fall for him.
“You’re someone who’s extremely stubborn and irrational, you’re really annoying, in all honesty.” I frowned, making him grin even wider. “But I guess those are some of the reasons of why I like you.”
I widened my eyes at what he said, I thought that he was just making a fool out of me, but by the looks in his eyes, he was quite serious than what I thought. I opened my mouth but no sign of words came out, I was too flabbergasted to even speak. So, there are more reasons? I thought.
I tried to speak one more time but I was caught off guard when his hands slipped onto my waist, pulling me closer to him. I looked up to him and our faces were just inches away from each other. I immediately shut my eyes closed, predicting on what’s going to happen next. Am I ready for this? Before I could even think once more, he placed a small kiss on my forehead, the sudden action caused me to blush like mad. He parted away from me before whispering, “Have a good night, Haeul.” He smiled and walked away, leaving me alone amongst the trees at their backyard.
I felt so empty without him.
