You want to see life?
Then live it.
You want to learn love?
Then love.
Moon Ah Reum was nothing but ready to face the most stressful Monday of her life. Dressed in her black tailored blazer and ebony suit pants, she stood in line at Starbucks for her daily dose of caffeine.
"Black coffee for Ah Reum!" The barista at Starbucks called her usual order. She stood against the wall in her poised stance, looking as if she had prepared for this nerve-wracking Monday the minute she was born.
That was how Ah Reum started her mornings.
Now at 25, work has become a lifestyle of hers. Ah Reum swore nothing could stop her from getting promoted this Monday. She took long, calming breaths to ease her nerves when she had entered the office. Oh God she hated nerves. She could not afford to be seen nervous, and she simply did not want to project that image. After all, she was the Moon Ah Reum of her department- the calm, collected, I-got-this Moon Ah Reum.
Ah Reum seemed easy to define. She was the kind of woman who'll wear the most conservative necklines and hemlines, the kind of woman who just doesn't have the time to date and the kind of woman who is more rational than emotional; yep. That is Moon Ah Reum.

"Ah Reum. Take a seat." Her boss, Ji Hoon worded upon Ah Reum's arrival at his private office. Ah Reum could not help but stare at the perfection that was Im Ji Hoon. Black hair brushed up with a neatly pressed business suit on, Ah Reum did her very best not to undress Im Ji Hoon with her eyes. He had every quality that Ah Reum looked for in a man. Im Ji Hoon basically fulfilled the mental checklist Ah Reum had for a husband prospect. Stable career, check.
Well-mannered and responsible, double check.
Of course, the cherry on top was the conventional handsomeness of her boss. Women clung to Ji Hoon like glue, but Ah Reum was not one of those women. She kept her distance, secretly falling in love with him for every kind deed Ji Hoon has done to her. Ah Reum, for the last two years, had been working so hard to gain that promotion and hopefully, get Ji Hoon's heart. But she knew she would not get Ji Hoon easily with her monotonous way of talking, intimidating disposition and looks that screamed modest,
