Foreword
“Something’s funny?” After a long silence, he finally asked.
“Hm. It’s pretty funny for me,” She said as she stirred her milkshake with the straw.
“What is?”
“I love him and maybe he loves me. When I said ‘maybe’, it’s more like ‘maybe NOT’. I know I’m foolish, and I’m suffering.”
He tilted his head to one side, a slight frown on his face. “Why don’t you just ask him?”
She laughed and slightly shrugged. “That sounds easy,” she paused, considering. “If I do it, I’ll either lose my friend or my dignity tonight. Or maybe both.”
“Why?”
“..because I’m being stupid for falling in love with my friend’s boyfriend.”
