A Spark

Description

28 year old Kim Namjoo has now moved out of her home, lives a life surrounded by work, and friends, but her parents are still at her back nagging. With no significant other, she watches in happiness as her friends marry and have children. As old as she is, she still feels insecure, but doesn't find herself attracted to anyone. Then she decides, maybe it's because of that dream she's been having...

"If there is really a next lifetime, lets meet again and get married. I don't want to live without you."

"I'll find you and lets live together for a long time then."

Foreword

Ok so, Destination Zero has gotten me depressed since I know what I have planned for it as of right now and you don't. ha~ So I need a small break, I'll still update what I have and I'll make sure to also work on the story, but this is my break inbetween completing the story and my life. And since Namjoo is now my big girl bias after Vic now, I'm going to write something for her. I don't have a male lead in mind right now, but maybe I'll decide on that later. Or maybe if you're interested, drop some suggestions for me and I'll consider it.

If you're a reader from Destination Zero, you might already know that LuJoo doesn't get a happy ending there. And if you've also read Forget, Don't Forget, LuJoo doesn't end up together there either. So, as Destination Zero has gotten me depressed over my characters and since LuJoo never once ended up together in my chaptered stories, I'll make this oneshot for them. And that's the sole purpose of this story. Just for happiness and so I can look for happy things to write too.

F.Y.I. that dialogue from above is from Destination Zero when Luhan lets her go - specifically frm ch 33.

If you're new to this, then, uh...welcome ^^

Synopsis:

Between work and her personal life, Namjoo finds herself attached to a retirement home where she often volunteers during her free time. There, Namjoo meets an elderly grandma who has a 'gift'. She slowly becomes entranced by this grandma who tells her about her past and her dreams and why she is where she is. In the end, when Namjoo goes to a spa resort in Japan, will she be able to discover the path waiting for her as well as the person she's been waiting for?

Chapter 1: you're awesome for making 'good' fanfics about apink's namjoo.
not many authors write good fanfics about namjoo. and the sad part is, there are few fanfics about her.

Chapter 1: Oh hey, look who's stalking you again! *hits herself on the head* I'm sorry, it's just me again whuahaha

Well, after I read 'glass slippers', I felt I had to read another romance kind of story, because I just thought that story didn't give you enough credit for your writing skills. And then I found this story. I really wanted to read something with Lu Han in it, and since you portrayed Sehun so manly (whuahaha), I wanted to read this one. But I didn't know which one to read because you have more and this one was supposed to follow another fanfic, but I don't know, this one kind of attracted me so this one first then xD

ABOUT THE STORY: Lovely. I don't think I can really describe your writing, but as always, it's mature, simplistic and it flows smoothly. This is a short story about a lovely promise, and it was so brilliantly portrayed, I can't get over it lol. I'm sure that if I had read the other story first, this would be even more beautiful for me, but it already was :) It has something distinct you interwoven in it, as always. Really love your writing. What I found interesting is your element of fate in your stories (might not all, but at least in the ones I read). Chance encounters that lead to something promising. I love how you write about those, without overdoing it, and brining out something like this. And although this was a short story, you made me fall in Lu Han more lol. I hate how handsome you portray guys :'< It's just unfair :'< And as always, I'm not commenting on the story again... At least I didn't exceed the word limit this time xD

In sum, this was lovely! Brilliant! These kinds of stories really show your wonderful writing! :D
