Yixing is sure that given any other situation he would probably feel like he had won the lottery, but now he could just try to find at least ten good reason as to why he shouldn't dump that cup of steaming hot tea on this man's crotch.

“Sorry, sir, but I might have heard you wrong”

“I think you hearing is perfectly functioning” the man says looking too smug for Yixing's liking.

“I might have missed something though, so I'd appreciate if you would be so kind as to repeat what you just said”

The man looks unamused and a little bit bothered, but Yixing can't bring himself to care.

“I just asked you if you wanted to get dinner with me on Wednesday to discuss the nature of my article”

“As in come to dinner with me or I'll make you go bankrupt or come to dinner with me because I really love your sweets and I want the recipe?”

The man smiles, humorless. “I'll leave that to your imagination, now – he says taking out his agenda – how is 7 pm for you?”
