Hello! My name is Storm and I'm the author of Hear Her Song. First off, I want to let everyone know that this was initially created as an original non-fanfic story, but I twisted it to include Joy from Red Velvet. As Niylah is a minor, Joy's age has been scaled down. I chose Joy as she is what I initially imagined the mermaid to look like. If this isn't comfortable for you, please don't read! This story is dedicated to my late father whom I miss so much. You will see some of him shining through Tom and Sheriff Busby (a character inspired by him). I hope you enjoy Hear Her Song!
