Why is this happening to me?

Listed above are my recent google searches. I'm definitely screwed. According to my research, it would take approximately a month or two para matapos ang Condo Renovation. Bakit ko yan sinearch? Jennie Kim says hi. 

I just got off a phone call from my father. 

The phone call went a little something like this:

"Lisa, ilang araw mo na kami hindi minemessage ng Mommy mo, we raised you better than that." sabi ni Daddy.

"Sorry, Dad. Medyo busy lang." simple kong sagot.

"You should've answered the call sooner. The day after tomorrow, you'll be having a new roommate." He informed me.

"Ha? Bakit biglaan. Dad? Sino po?" I asked trying to calm myself pero deep inside nagpapanic na ko dahil ang gulo-gulo ng kwarto ko at hindi ako ready ipamigay ang natitira kong personal space. 

"Kaya nga sinabi ko sayo, you should've answered our calls." I heard him sigh from the other line. "Jennie. Her Condo's getting reconstructed."

Nanigas naman yung buong pagkatao ko when I heard her name.

"Pero Dad, Can't she stay somewhere else?" I almost whispered. Naalala ko nanaman yung nangyari nung Halloween party kasi. What the hell was that? Do I like her? I shook my head, trying to get those ridiculous thoughts out of my head. Hindi nga kami nagpapansinan ni Jennie for almost 2 weeks since that party, not that I'm counting.

"Don't be rude, Lisa. It would be convenient for you both. Wouldn't you want more time with your bestfriend?" sambit niya. Great, he used the bestfriend card.

"Does Jennie know about this?" tanong ko. "Jennie's been reaching out to you, Lis. Sabi  niya busy ka daw lately. Take this time to reconnect, okay?" sabi pa ni Daddy. 

Anong reaching out yung sinasabi niya? May bago na bang definition yung reaching out? Yung tipong magkakasalubong lang kami sa hallway, iiwasan niya na ko? Ah ganon na pala reaching out ngayon. Hindi naman pala ako updated. 

"May choice ba.." I almost whispered. 

"I gotta go, Lis. Sort this out with Jennie. Okay?" Then he hung up.

I'm ed.

Hingal na hingal ako sa pagbubuhat ng boxes from Jennie's room. "That's the last of it." sabi niya. "Ang dami mong gamit, isang taon ba gagawin yang condo mo." sabi ko sabay punas ng pawis sa noo ko.

She handed me a bottle of water. "Thanks." sabi ko sakanya.

"About the bed, should I call for help? Hindi ko kaya buhatin yun mag-isa." sabi ko as I plopped myself on the sofa. 

"Ano kasi.." she trailed off. "Kasama yun sa furniture na papalitan so kinuha na siya.." sabi ni Jennie. 

"We're not sharing my bed, Jennie." I firmly said. "Fine, I'll sleep on the ing couch." sabi niya  sabay irap. 

Nakonsensya naman ako. Naisip ko din kasi na since Jennie's parents and mine thinks na we're bestfriends and we're used to sharing a bed, it would be weird  if Jennie suddenly requests na magpadala sila ng kama.

"Fine. Ako na sa couch. Take my bed. Masaya ka na? Arte." sabi ko naman sakanya. She smiled sabay deretso sa kwarto ko. 

That's when I remembered something kaya dali-dali akong kumaripas ng takbo papuntang kwarto, shoving Jennie in the process.

"The hell, Manoban!" sigaw niya. Hindi ko siya pinansin at dumiretso ako sa corkboard na nakasabit sa ibabaw ng study table ko. 

I snatched the picture na nakapin sa board and I hid it in my back pocket. This didn't go unnoticed by Jennie kaya naman she squinted her eyes and looked at me weirdly. 

"Anong tinatago mo?" tanong niya. She took several steps papalapit sa akin at napaatras naman ako. She continued walking towards me, wiggling her eyebrows habang papalapit siya ng papalapit sakin. I can almost feel the bed sa likod ko kaya umupo ako sa dulo ng kama. There's no way na makukuha niya yung tinatago ko dahil nakaupo ako at nasa back pocket ko nga yung picture. 

Sinubukan ni Jennie na abutin yung likuran ko pero I stopped her using both of my hands. "Wala nga kasi to, ayusin mo na mga gamit mo!" I tried to push her away pero I know if I use a liftle force she would stumble back and I don't want to hurt her kaya I let her have her own way.

Napaibabaw tuloy siya sakin.

Both of her hands were at the sides of my head. Pareho din kaming hingal.

"Akin na." sabi niya. Dahil sa awkward ng position namin, I decided to surrender. "Fine, Ikaw nagpumilit." I replied. Pinipigilan ko tawa ko habang inabot ko mula sa
