Chapter 2- My friends...and theirs [Part I]
Happiness after Loss"Ray...hurry up...your aunt's wont be pleased if the maknae comes in late!!!" I rushed around grabbing a couple of things before stuffing it into the baby bag and grabbed my keys.
"Mom...I'm ready. Joesonghaeyo ....I kept you waiting, but I wanted to see what the ajeossi drew finally...."He looked sad and put his head down.
Sighing, I went on my knees to pull his chin up. There was one thing I had determined to never let him feel sad because of anything,so... "Which ajeossi are you talking about Ray?" I was surprised at how quick he had picked up the language and thought to myself he must have got it from his parents but a lump formed in my throat pushing that thought aside.
"Mom, the one who helped me cross the road.." as he put his hands in his jacket that I held out for him. It had been a week since that incident and I had made a mental note to warn him about strangers and also to never give precedence to work over him, especially in crossing roads.
"Oh...so you were watching that show, well we can see a repeat honey, dont worry, mom will make sure to check it out". I was sure he was mistaken but did not want him to be upset. Well, it could not have been him- why would a kpop ex-idol roam around embassy town. Shrugging the thought off, we rushed down to walk towards the Cheongdam-dong where I was meeting my friends.
After an hour, finally when we reached I looked around to see my unnie-deul. Thankfully they had also not arrived. Ray had fallen asleep on the way so after settling in and ordering for him, I proceeded to call Jiyoon and Jihyo unnie.
