Irene woke up by the sunlight that shined on her face. She blinked a few times before she realized the arm she was lying on and the hand that was holding hers. She turned around and found Taehyung still sleeping on the comforter next to her.

It was the first time. The first time in a long time that I could fall asleep in peace. Fall asleep without feeling lonely, sad and empty. It was the first time in a long time that I could fall asleep without my thoughts racing through my mind.

Looking at the peacefully sleeping Taehyung, Irene couldn't help but smiled. She removed his hand carefully and put it back next to Taehyung. She pulled her blanket over Taehyung and smiled a bit again before she stepped out of bed. She took Taehyung's phone from the nightstand to see what time it is, but widened her eyes from surprise when she saw the wallpaper. She looked at Taehyung for a moment before putting down the phone back. She closed the slightly opened curtains and left the room.

Taehyung woke up by the loud noises outside and immediately sat up straight. That was when he realized that Irene was gone. He looked at the comforter on him and pulled it slowly up before fast down again when he saw his old friend.

Damn it!

Taehyung removed the comforter and was about to jump out of the bed to dress up when he heard the sound of the door. He immediately lied back down in bed and covered himself with the comforter.

"Kim Taehyung, wake up! I brough breakfast from downstairs." Taehyung could hear Irene's voice, but Taehyung kept his eyes shut, pretending to be sleeping.

Irene furrowed her brows before putting down the tray of food on the table. She walked to Taehyung and looked carefully to his face before she slapped Taehyung's arm which of course surprised Taehyung.

"What are you doing?!" Taehyung said surprised and Irene chuckled

"You're the one who pretended to be sleeping. Get out of bed. It's almost noon and you haven't eat yet." Irene said and Taehyung hesitated for a moment before turning around.

"I eat later. You eat first." Taehyung said which caused Irene to furrow again.

"Just get out!" Irene said while removing the comforter fast.

Taehyung immediately covered himself again, but it was too late. Irene saw it already. Taehyung turned slow and careful to Irene to see her reaction. Irene was standing there looking at Taehyung's covered body with a poker face for a moment before she turned to Taehyung's face.

"Did you just...?"

"It's a natural reaction! It's morning! Don't think too much!" Taehyung said fast in panic and Irene started to laugh. "Why are you laughing?"

Irene shook her head and walked to Taehyung's suitcase. She threw a pair of his jeans to Taehyung which he caugh easilly.

"Just change. I'll going to the bathroom." Irene said and walked straight the bathroom in.

Taehyung let out a sigh before he changed as fast as he can.

Irene and Taehyung ate their breakfast silently in the hotel room. It wasn't an awkward silent for Irene, but it was definitely a bit uncomfortable to Taehyung.

"Irene..." Taehyung broke the silence, but Irene immediately broke him off.

"Shall we swim again today?" Irene asked which surprised Taehyung a bit.

"What? Swim?" Taehyung asked and Irene nodded.

"The christmas market starts tonight so we have plenty of time to practise." Irene said and Taehyung was silent for a moment.

"You're sure?" Taehyung asked and Irene nodded firmly.

"I don't want our trip to be wasted." Irene said and Taehyung smiled a bit.

"If that's what you want."

Taehyung immediately jumped into the water and Irene was standing at the side looking into the water.

Taehyung who turned around and saw her standing there again smiled a bit. He walked to the stairs and reached out his hands again like yesterday. Irene looked at his hand for a moment before she took it with a smile. She then looked carefully to the stairs and walked down in a slow but steady manner. Taehyung gave her a comforting smile and immediately pulled Irene into a hug when she reached the last step.

"Wow. That was way faster than yesterday." Taehyung said and even though Irene's eyes were showing that she was still scared, she managed to put on a smile because of Taehyung's words.

She took a deep breath and was looking straightly into Taehyung's eyes, not daring to look away.

"Irene, I'm letting you go, but my hands will be near. I can grab on you any moment when you need me. Do you think you can do it?" Taehyung asked and Irene took another deep breath.

"I'll try." She said and Taehyung gave her a comforting smile.

Taehyung pulled Irene slowly away to give her space to swim and when he saw Irene moving her legs, Taehyung slowly let Irene go, but not even a second later, Irene pulled Taehyung's arm into a hug again.

"I can't do this!" Irene said with her eyes tightly shut and Taehyung over Irene's head.

"It's okay. You can do it. I'm here. You're not in danger." Taehyung said gently and for some reason it really calmed Irene down.

Irene breathed slowly in and out again before opening her eyes.

"You can take your time. Just tell me when you're ready." Taehyung said and Irene gave him a firm nod.

She pulled away slowly and Taehyung smiled to her.

"You can take your time. You don't need to hurry." Taehyung said and Irene nodded slowly

He pulled away from her a bit again and Irene tried to swim again. Taehyung waited a few seconds longer this time before he slowly let her go. Irene was able to keep herself up for a good 3 seconds before she shut her eyes fast. That was the sign Taehyung took and immediately pulled her into a hug again. Irene was breathing heavilly and Taehyung smiled a bit.

"Good job." He whispered and Irene smiled a bit as well.

Suddenly they heard the sound of thunder and immediately looked outside.

"Let's get out first." Taehyung whispered and Irene nodded

Irene looked outside the window from their hotel room and couldn't help but sigh. It raining really hard and everyone had taken their stuff away.

"I wonder if the Christmas market will still go on tonight." Irene said before joining Taehyung who was sitting on the bed
