the feeling of your fingertips gliding along the seams of the ball, toes lifting up off of the floorboards in a desperate attempt to make contact. your eyes can see it now, even through all the lights, and victory has never tasted sweeter upon your palette.
the muffled cheers of all the masses sends tingles rushing down your spine and it's with barely enough force you slam down a spike right down the line.

PREMISE
imawari high is in need of new members for their volleyball team. coming from a rather small school, no one is really willing to stand up to the plate. however, with new victories of a school such as karasuno (the fallen heroes), a sudden competitive spirit has snuck into a couple of the boys in the building.
now, the lowest of the low train for the hope of meeting the big bad boys up at the top, and to snatch that national title- as well as repairing the crumbling team dynamic that has fallen through the loss of half the team, rivalries building, and the tension of people who want to win it all on their own.
here, it's the documentary of underdogs.

my weeb self wanted to make a haikyuu inspired fic for .. months now. but frankly, i never really had any good ideas for what i wanted to do with it. however, with the suggestion of bebops i decided to actually pedal through with the inklings of my idea and enforce it !
hopefully you guys will love this volleyball team as much as you love karasuno, nekoma, aoba josai, and all the teams we've come to love throughout hq.
