It was finally Prom season and all of the students were excited. Heck, all the girls who attended the school already asked they dates out before Prom was even mentioned in the school but they just do whatever they want and for the first time this year, freshmans could attend. Usually Prom was for Sophmores, Juniors and Seniors but now there was a new teacher who was the new director of Prom decided to invite the freshmans since she didn't want them to be left out and that teacher was Mrs.Song, the Korean ESL teacher that Chaeyool, Joshua and Seungcheol had. 

"So freshmans!" Mrs.Song chirped that got her freshman students' attention. "Prom is just coming up in two weeks and it'd be great if everyone went! Plus, it's a good experience for students who are new at this school!" She smiled and Chaeyool smiled because she knew she wanted to go. "This year's theme is... Night in Paris!"

Nam Chaeyool grinned since she thought Paris is the most romantic city in the whole wide world and she knew she just had to go to Prom. Seungcheol, who was sitting right next to Joshua, right across the room heard Mrs.Song talk about Prom and he thinks that he should go too since he never experienced something like it but then, who was he going to ask? He turned his attention away from mrs.Song and looked at Chaeyool who sat right across from him but she didn't feel his gaze on her when he continued to stare at her. "So you want to take Nam Chaeyool to Prom, don't you hyung." Joshua whispered that broke Seungcheol's trance. 

"Huh?" Seungcheol whipped his head before grabbing his pencil again. "Uh, no I don't." 

"Okay. You don't mind me asking my best friend out to Prom right?" Joshua asks and Seungcheol stares at him. 

"Don't you dare." Seungcheol glares and Joshua laughs. 

"I knew you want to ask!" Joshua blurted and that got Mrs.Song's attention and the other students including Chaeyool. 

"Boys, do you want anything to say?" Mrs.Song asks and both Seungcheol and Joshua shook their heads. "I know, I know, you guys are excited about Prom! Everyone is!" Chaeyool laughed when she saw Seungcheol's red tomato face and when they met eyes, Seungcheol covered his face with his Learning English textbook.

"How should I propose to her, Jisoo?" Seungcheol asks while he plays basketball. 

It was finally lunch time, a period where you can eat whatever that the school provides for you and pig out but for Joshua, Chaeyool and Seungcheol, it was food that could make you sick but right now, Chaeyool went to the front of the school and waited for her mom to drop some lunch that she picked up In-N-Out Burger. Joshua and Seungcheol waited for Nam Chaeyool at their usual hangout spot and played basketball while they waited. 

"Hmm," Joshua started to scratch his chin as he popped some goldfish crackers into his mouth. "I don't hyung."

"Dang," Seungcheol hissed as he made another basket and successfully got the basketball into the hoop. "So, who are you going with?" Seungcheol asked as he went to go retrieve the ball and shot another basket. 

"Well I thought we were gonna go as a group but now, I have no idea." Joshua shrugged. 

"Sorry, Jisoo." Seungcheol chuckled, bouncing the ball before making his third successful shot which finally hit him in reality. He knew how to propose to Chaeyool. "Jisoo!" 

Joshua jumped out his seat and spilled a little bit of his goldfish crackers onto the basketball court. "Aw man! Hyung!" Joshua whined, picking up his crackers. "What is it now?" 

"I have the perfect idea!" Seungcheol threw the ball into the basket again before running towards Joshua who was upset because of his crackers. "What I'm gonna do is--" 

"What idea do you have Seungcheol?" Chaeyool asks as she walked towards the two, with two bags of In-N-Out in her hand and a tray full of drinks in the other. 

"Um, it's nothing." Seungcheol lied, giving her a smile right after. "Let's eat!" 

"Jisoo," Chaeyool gave her best friend an eyebrow and he shook his head.

"I don't know what he's talking about." Joshua shrugged. 

"Okay," Chaeyool nodded and handed the bags to the boys and gave them each a drink before she sat down at the picnic table right next to Joshua.

Chaeyool sat in her room and did homework like a normal teenager would do but ever since the subject about Prom came up, she could not stop thinking about going. Who was she going to ask? What punny saying was she going to come up with to propose? What colored dress was she going to buy? Was someone going to ask her so she didn't have to do the difficult part like being rejected? Chaeyool wasn't going to let any of the Prom problems get to her so she continued to do her math homework when a small pebble was thrown at her balcony door. She thought that it was just the wind so she continued to work on her homework when another pebble was thrown. 

"Is it really that windy outside?" Chaeyool asked herself and before she could go to the balcony, her mom came in and smiled as she stood at the door. 

"Camille!" Her non-Korean biological mom named Lori, called when she walked into her daughter's room. 

"Yeah, mom?" Chaeyool turned and faced her mom at the door with a smile. 

"You have to come downstairs and see this! You'll love it." Her mom smiled before she left the room, with Nam Chaeyool following behind. Chaeyool finally got downstairs but there was nothing there which led Chaeyool to be confused. 

"Mom, what am I looking at?" Chaeyool asks.

"You'll have to go outside to the backyard and look." Her dad replied, a full Korean who went by the name Jason in the U.S.

"The backyard? Is Chaejoon oppa gonna sneak up on me and spray me with a hose or something?" Chaeyool asks and her parents laughed. 

"No, sweetie." Her mom reaasured. "Just go to the back, we'll follow you just in case." 

Chaeyool nodded before she made her way through the kitchen until she got to the door where it lead to the backyard and as she placed her shoes on, she opened the door slowly with her parents following behind. She walked to the dark backyard and suddenly, there were Christmas lights hanging around that . Her mom quickly took out her video camera and started to video taped the whole thing and her dad was tearing up. Chaeyool walked off the porch and saw Seungcheol standing right infront of her with a smile on his face with a basketball placed in between his right arm and hip and a cardboard poster in his left arm. 

Seungcheol threw the basketball to Chaeyool and caught it with no problem when all of a sudden, Seungcheol held up the cardboard poster that had his prom proposal written on it in English. 

"It'd be a 3-point shot if you went with me to..." The poster stopped when Chaeyool realized it wasn't finished just yet when she remembered that she had the basketball in her hand. She looked down and it said, "Prom." Chaeyool broke out into a huge smile and Seungcheol couldn't help but smile too. 

"Nam Chaeyool," Seungcheol called for Chaeyool's attention which made her look up. "Will you go to Prom with me?" 

"Yes!" Chaeyool clapped with excitement before she threw her arms around Seungcheol and pulled him into a hug and he couldn't help but wrap his arms around her waist. 

"Let's take a picture, you two!" Chaeyool's mom yell
