Aeri thinks when Minjeong falls asleep, her lips pressed against Aeri’s neck—she thinks that this is why life is sometimes much simpler than people make it sound. She hopes she can hold onto this for a little longer. Or, Despite it all, Aeri learns to love Minjeong again, even if Minjeong isn't hers anymore.
