Background
Like many other performers, Kimiko also liked performing and entertaining as a small child. Like many others, she fell in love with kpop and begged her parents to let her be a trainee at the tender age of ten. Unlike many others, her parents happened to be friends with the head of talent aquisition of a mid-size korean entertainmemnt company by the name of RedRize. So at the age of ten Kimiko, accompanied by her mother, moved to Korea to become a trainee.
 
Her mother didn't like Korea much. She spoke Japanese quietly on the street, and always said how she felt people were looking, judging. Kimiko didn't quite understand why that mattered.

Kimiko trained at RedRize for five years.
