Same as any other girls out there, Marie is a cheerful-outgoing girl who is hardworking in all the things she does. She was taught not to be spoiled and if she really wants something she has to work hard for it. Whether it would be having good grades in school or something else. Marie has a driven personality, Since she wants to be involved in the entertainment industry she was taught to be open minded in all the criticisms she will receive and use those criticisms to motivate her to do better.

She has negative side like every other person who walks in this planet and being impatient is one of them. She has trouble waiting for people, she dislikes it if someone asks her to meet them and she will be the one to arrive early. BACKGROUND:

She was born on november 2,1998 in Toronto,Canada.Her Father is Chinese whilst her Mother is Korean thus making her a mix of Chinese and Korean. Mari's Mother divorced with her husband when Marie is a year old, leaving Marie to her Father. No one knows about her whereabouts now. It was when she was 5 her father remarried to a Chinese-Canadian woman who goes by the name of Sophie lee. She has 2 sons namely Christian and Marcus. Marie detested and despised her step mother but she gets along with her step brothers.

In school she was just an average student who is quiet with other people but when she is with her bestfriend or brothers she is extremely loud. she has no trouble making friends but her schoolmates found her weird maybe because of a bit of discrimination since she is of a another race. But she has this one best friend who is like her sister named Layla, Layla is into dance like Marie.

When she was 10 she got into kpop, Marie started to do dance covers (by the ecouragement and support of her best friend layla) and post it on to her youtube channel. Even before getting into kpop, Marie loves to dance she even asked her older step-brother to teach her how to dance since he was a dancer himself. He taught her hip-hop and a bit of modern dance thus making her really interested.

During the summer of 2012 her family had a month long vacation in Seoul,South Korea. In that month Marie was searching if there were any entertainments holding auditions, Luckily some entertainments were holding auditions as well. She auditioned at entertainments like Fantagio,JYP, and BigHit. She got accepted at Fantagio and Big Hit, Mari chose to train under Big Hit because of a live performance of GLAM she saw on tv whilst staying in Korea.

Marie moved into a dorm provided by the Entertainment, She even switched schools. Marie studies diligently in SOPA whilst at the same time she does her best in training in Big Hit. She officially started training at Big Hit in 2013.

The two are really close. He was the one who influenced her in dance and he was even her first dance teacher. Marcus is really protective over her little sister, He was her human punching bag and diary. He got lonely when Mari moved to korea, the two facetime whenever they are available to do some catching up.

She and Marie met when they were 8 and ever since were inseperable. This girl also has an interest in dancing except her style is different from Marie's. These two girls have so much in common, like a fan of the archie comics, their love for dance, love for food etc. Layla would like to call it sisters from another mother. Layla was the one who suggested to Marie to post covers of her dancing to youtube, She is also feautured in some of her youtube videos. Layla once visited Marie in Korea, the two girls spent the whole day in Hongdae just shopping and eating.

The two were in the same rapping class in BigHit, Mari being younger admired how the older was so good at it. Both of them finally had a conversation when Bang PD gathered the four girls to introduce them to one another. You can say the two has gotten closer ever since they were in the same group. There are times that she sasses the younger girl but Marie would just smile unfazed by it.

TRAINING YEAR(S): 4 years (2013-2017)

TRAINEE LIFE:
Marie was only 13 when she went to her audition in Big Hit entertainment. She also had auditioned for other entertainments that time. Upon entering the audition room, she felt all eyes on her. "Hello my name is Marie Go, I am 13 years of age and I will be auditioning through dance" She said in english with a smile on her face quite confident. "I will be dancing to Exo's History (she is the one wearing the grey sweats)" she said as she got into position. The judges were curious that this girl chose to dance to a boy-group song, which is something new. Marie danced her best and finished as she was breathing heavily. They were surprised that she didnt look any awkward nor incorporated any feminine like moves in the dance. "Did you attend any dance academy prior to auditioning?" One of the judges asked her. She shook her head in response "No i did not, I mostly learned dance through my older brother and with the help of youtube" She smiled. The judges saw raw talent from her audition and decided to get her as a trainee. A few days later she received an email that she got accepted.

She trained almost everyday after school. At first it was hard since training is harder than she thought it would be but eventually she got used to it. Also the fact that she has to live separately from her family and live in a dorm with other trainees. She would get up at 5 am to get ready for school which starts at 7am then she would come to the building for daily training which starts at 5pm then ends at 10pm as the earliest and 11pm as the latest. Sometimes she finishes training at 12 am.

Despite training for some skills such as dancing,singing,rapping. Marie had to learn Korean and Japanese so basically she has 1 hour of Korean language class then another hour for Japanese class, She was very much thankful she could converse well both in english and chinese so she doesnt need another language class.

Marie wasnt really a singer, so learning how to sing gave her sore throat experiences and she even almost went to the hospital because of it. Thankfully she stopped getting a sore throat and her singing improved. Her voice is described to be husky. Originally the girl wasnt a rapper but she has a bit of experience since she used to listen a lot of hip hop songs because of her brother back in canada. So the trainers then decided to let her train in the rap department as well. She would train to rap to eminem songs or any hip hop songs. Dancing? She was one of the best in that department. Marie had a big improvement in her dancing, They were surprised that she could easily pick up choreography and also her ability to dance to powerful boy-group like choreographies. It was through her dancing skills that labeled her as Big Hit's Girl crush. What is also surprising to others is that no matter how long she trained she didnt look that much tired.

✩ Jungkook is actually shy and immature, compared to his feisty and y image on stage. Its true he has a hard time interacting with girls but he is trying his best. He is playful and sometimes a brat to his hyungs, though if he is infront of girls he turns into a shy kid that you really have to talk to if you want him to not give you one word replies. He is also a type of person who tries their best and doesnt want to let other people down. Jungkook dislikes dissapointing people. Jungkook is also a man who sticks to his word, he doesnt like broken promises; If he made a promise he will do his best to fulfill it.

HISTORY:

✩ The two first met when they were classmates in SOPA but they didnt really talk or anything. When Marie got the job to be featured in BTS' Boy in Luv mv, she decided to talk to Jungkook about it since she was briefed that the two of them will have a scene; Also so they wont be awkward when they are filming. At first Jungkook would give her one word replies but soon he warmed up to Marie.

INTERACTIONS:

✩ Ever since they got comfortable with each other, they became best friends and constantly hang out either at school or in the entertainment building before they go to their respective training classes.

If one were to describe their friendship it would be like siblings who bicker all the time. Marie would often steal Jungkook's hoodie or food whenever they are at school. Jungkook would whenever she sneezes when she looks at the sun and also her love for the Archie comics.

Jungkook is the only person Marie can talk to about her own insecurities, the said boy would simply listen to her since that's what all she needs whenever she is gonna have a mental breakdown; Someone to listen to. Jungkook would just listen to her and even give her a comforting hug until she calms down.

Marie showed different sides to Jungkook that she hasnt shown much to anybody, and Jungkook loves how Marie is being herself and not pretending to be someone else or limiting herself with her actions.

Soon enough feelings grew and the two began to like each other. Jungkook confessed to Marie when they were in the school's study hall during their homework. It was sudden and out of the blue "I like you" Jungkook said as he was answering his homework. Marie answered a quiet "I like you too" as she finished her work earlier and smiled at Jungkook.

A few clumsy dates (yes clumsy because Jungkook was nervous and flustered making sure the dates went smoothly and no one would recognize him) they became an official couple. They kept their status to themselves, not even BTS or their other labelmates know about their relationship.

Maybe they will come clean about their relationship soon but as of now no since BTS is in the height of their career and it would be risky.
