Note:
There is hardly any romance in this (well, maybe a wee bit?), as that was supposed to take place in later chapters, so this is just like a somewhat bromance-y (bit of )-filled episode of the X-Men series (or at least, that was what I was going for). This was written lifetimes ago though, by past me (who struggled with fanfiction a lot!) so, definitely do not get your expectations up, mehehe.
