There’s the golden light of early sunrise painting her skin honey.   Her soft laughter echoes when Maloi rolls her eyes in feigned annoyance.   “Good morning.”   Colet stands up, pulling a chair for her, “Did you sleep well?”

Colet only needed to gather some courage to take a leap of faith, but how could she reach Maloi if whenever she feels she’s close, Maloi suddenly feels far away?
