Description

[ONESHOT] "Sunggyu could only chuckle at his dongsaeng’s behavior. She really was something. A good something." Inspired by when Sunggyu was on '4Things Show' and he was talking about his loneliness and hardships that he had to overcome throughout his years after debuting.

Foreword

Hi guys~

So this fic is kinda dedicated to Sunggyu, I guess, to thank him for everything so far.

I was inspired to write this when I watched his episode of '4 Things Show' which aired last year, so I actually wrote this last year (a little fun fact for you all there). I was quite shocked by how sad and lonely he seemed to be when he was talking about his hardships and whatnot, so at that time I think I was like 'oh I should write like a thank you note but because it would be really cringey and cheesy, I should just write it as a fic in another person's view lol.' And so I did! (By the way, this oneshot is in no way meant to be realistic- after watching his episode, I realised how much I didn't actually know him and so it's basically just what I wanted to say to him if I was to be a close friend- close enough to tell him stuff like this cuz it seems like he doesn't talk about stuff like this openly lol.)

Here it is, finally ready after a year haha and I hope you guys enjoy this... it's different to my others- it's not romance at all.

I'd just like to mention here, that the girl in this (you), has already debuted before Infinite (let's just imagine) and so you are the 'sunbae' (senior). But age-wise, you are four years younger than Sunggyu (let's just imagine again, unless you actually are), and so you are his 'dongsaeng' (younger person).
(It is not that common for a 'dongsaeng' to be a 'sunbae' in society, but it can still happen and the scenario here is one of those cases!)

It should clear up any confusing things when you start to read the first bit of the oneshot, especially if you are not used to the Korean terms or how the age system works, which is important.
(Everything I have stated should be correct, because I'm Korean >< but please do tell me if not so).

Anyways, the long explanation is over, and I hope it's not too cheesy- it's meant to be... inspiring, let's say.

NO PLAGIARISING, THANK YOU.
