Incursion in Enkeli Forge

The Barbarian's Cherry Blossom

The Warakiya tavern was bustling with customers, ranging from shore-leaved sailors, hungry dockworkers and to playful gamblers.

Everyone in the tavern including the staff were men which felt rather awkward for Yukirin. She only wanted to go for a place to eat and surprisingly enough there is an Izakaya in Baizan ran by a freshblooded Gimaelic brewmaster and an enslaved veteran Izakaya bartender. The tavern was set up sometime after the Tokyo raid and souvenirs from the the Japanese city decorated the place giving an exotic and allruing atmosphere to the tavern.

Wulfgar was playing a gambling game called 'Dudo' (or famously called 'Liar's Dice' or 'Pirate's Dice'). He occassionally gambles some of his salary with the other Huscarls. They often rotate the games they would play and 'Dudo' is tonight's game.

Yukirin didn't do much but eat Miso soup and bread while sitting close to her 'assigned bodyguard' Wulfgar.

"I bid you got around maybe at least a sixer with you Rudolf." One of the Huscarl's bidded.

"Well I think that their's a twin of four's with all of ya." Rudolf said, sipping his ale.

"Man up Rudi! 3 of a kind or go home! I bid three-fiver's I swear." Wulfgar said.

"So everyone said there bids? Ok open up yer cups men." Another Huscarl said.

Everyone in the table lifted their cups and showed their dice. And Lo and behold theres at least 3 dices that showed the 'five' face.

"You f****** P*sstanker!" Rudolph erupted his chair causing the group's drinks to topple over and spill at the direction Yuki. Rudolph always loses in gambling to everyone else and its a miracle if he won a game of anything. Wulfgar, who was quick on his toes, human shielded Yuki. He hurled his chest towards the golden liquid that is Ale and it stained his favorite blue shirt.

"Rudolph! You f****** c**** way to ruin our ale! And you made Yuki angry!" One of the Huscarls said.

"A s*** I got to buy you twice as much ain't I?" Rudolph grumbly confesses.

Wulfgar had to excuse him self and clean up the Ale stains from his shirt at the back of the tavern.

"Take care of yourself Yuki." Wulfgar said before leaving. He stood and walked outback.

"Ok, quickie round while Wulf gets washed up." Rudolph said. He grabbed his cup and remaining dice and shook them.

Yuki continues to sit idly by as she saw the Huscarls gamble. She sipped some of her soup to realise that she ran out of Miso. The Tavern offers free refillable Miso Soup to customers which is most probably one of the biggest reasons why this Izakaya is so popular with everyone (Because free s**** is cool m8). She walked up to the counter that has a Soup Dispenser displaying 'Free Miso Soup for customers'. Pulled down the lever and outcame the golden broth of soup from the faucet. Yuki hummed a quiet tune as the soup filled her porcelain cup.

*BANG!!!*

The thundering noise of a shotgun disturbed the peace. A dozen and a half men carrying guns littered the tavern.

"We are 'the Red Suns'! And we are robbing this place. Keep your heads down. You! Money! Now!" One of them said.

The old man in the counter scrambled to get the establishments hard earned Ducats.

"Hey Yuki, get over here quick." One of the Huscarls whispered.

But his voice was heard by one of the men who walked up to Yuki and grabbed her by the head.

"Any of you get any closer I blow her head off!" the man said pulling Yuki's hair which made her cry in pain.

"You Rebel scum! Wait untill Rainoric Eadwulf gets you. He will rip your spine off!" One of the Gimaelic patrons said.

"So the son of the 'Demon King' is here already to deal with us? Here that guys, their King is a coward!" the Red Sun rebel holding Yuki said.

"Wh***sons! All of you! Wh***sons!" another Gimaelic defiantly yelled.

He was met with a response from a shotgun blast that grazed him by a few inches. The Gimaelic quickly hid back to his table.

A nervous and tense atmosphere surrounded the room as the outnumbered Red Suns nervously kept an eye on their hostages. Yuki tried her best to keep herself calm in this situation. In all honesty she never has been in a life-threatening scenario before and her heart was beating as fast as the gallops of a horse.

"Please anyone save me." She thought inside her head.

"Hey, is there someone that can help me get rid of---" Wulfgar suddenly cameback with the stain still stubbornly attached to his shirt.

The robbers, reacting without hesitation, shot their guns at Wulfgar. The bullets landed, bounced or went through Wulfgar's frame. The bullets tore his shirt to shreds before hitting his armored body. The sheer impact of the projectiles pushed him to a horn display that he instantly crashed down on. Wulfgar flinched at the shock of the bullets hitting him. His body wasn't made from Gimaelic steel so the bullets can potential punch through his body but of course you simply can't kill a Broken Lord by conventional means. And these robbers obviously didn't know Wulfgar is a Broken Lord due to the fact he is wearing a full face helmet with a chainmail mask.

"This...was...my...favorite...shirt.....you....you....bastards." Wulfgar stood up.

"What the hell... you're not bledding....wait...oh no.... you got to be joking!" The robber holding Yuki said. He let go of her and fired away his shotgun at Wulfgar who walked furiously towards him.

Yuki, now freed and with a new feeling of courage, grabbed her bowl of Miso soup and spilled it over the eyes of her hostage taker. The hot soup burned his face making the man drop his shotgun and cover his head with his hands. Wulfgar got up close and gave an uppecut punch the man which send him flying to the Miso Soup dispenser knocking him out and spilling the free soup.

"Good shot long neck." Wulfgar thanked Yuki.

"Look out!"" Yuki yelled.

Wulfgar turned around and saw that one of the Red Sun robbers was about to bash him in the head with the but of shotgun. Wulfgar grabbed the man in the arm and disarmed him. He then kicked the man in the groin which knocked the man out. With a shotgun in his hand, Wulfgar had no idea how to use it. So, like any normal thinking Gimaelic would do if he was as buff and strong as Wulfgar, he broke the shotgun in half creating a point sharp enough to be use as a tip of a knife. Now with a large shiv on his hand Wulfgar attacked the robbers.

With all of the robbers focusing fire at the Broken Lord, some brave patrons decided to fight back against the now panicked robbers by tackling them and beating them up. Wulfgar took advantage of the commotion and engaged in a hand-to-hand brawl with the Red Suns. If you are in a fight against a Gimaelic, no matter what weapon you have on your hands, he will absolutely destroy you before you can see he is going to kill you.

"Come on! We show you how real men fight!" A Gimaelic said. He bashed the Red Sun with a glass bottle that shattered and cutted the robber's face.

The Patrons quickly overpowered the robbers with brute strength, drunken bravery and a little womanly touch from Yuki.

------------------------

Back in the Dockyard, there was a camp where Rainoric's men resided on. During the day most of the soldiers would help out in the construction of the space ships or train in the hot, tropical, Baizan sun. At night however, unlike the usual drunken revelry and singing before bedtime, the camp was quiet.... except for one specific tent jewelled encrusted tent....

"Ok.... one more time Earthling. Where is your HQ?" Gizzur said. He was torturing a Red Sun rebel over who was sitting on a chair. The prisoner was one of the robbers who thought it was a good idea to steal some Ducats from a Gimaelic Taver slash Izakaya.

The Red Suns are a rebel group that comprise of Japanese slaves who are fighting for their freedom and the deaths of the slave owners. They have been commiting several terrorist style attack such as plantation burnings, bombings and shootings in marketplaces all over the archipelago.

"I will never....tell....yyyyooouuu....." The prisoner said.

"Well then, This little piggy went to the market!" Gizzur grabbed the man's finger and began to bend it really hard.

"Aaaaggghhhh!!!!" The Red Sun prisoner said.

Meanwhile outside the Huscarls were patching up their wounds from the brawl earlier. With the help of the local Baizan Hearth Guards, they were able to take all of the would-be-robbers as prisoners of war. Yuki had felt shell shocked when she found out that the Red Sun insurgents were her people. She sat down and though about what happened that night.

"Yukirin, are you ok?" Takamina who just came by said.

"I'm not. You heard the new prisoners Wulfgar brought here our fellow Japanese people just like you and me." Yukirin said melodramatically.

"I know of the news. Despite being Japanese myself, I know that they have been doing these terrorist style attacks on Baizan recently. You know to be honest, I think we can find a peaceful way to end this rebellion."Takamina replied.

"How?" Yuki asked.

"Well, from what the Vanorans and all the other soldiers told me is that the Rebels are somewhere in Baizan. And I can talk to them, if I can talk down Vanoran soldiers, I can talk down my fellow Japanese."

"And just how are you going to do that?" Yukirin asked.

"She will have me at her side." Eslek appeared out of nowhere.

"Ahh! Yokai!" Yukirin cried.

"I am not a 'Yokai'! I'm a Haunt." Eslek corrected.

"Oh, sorry, its just im not use to seeing people like you." Yukirin calmed down.

"Oh lads! He broke, I got some good news and bad news though." Gizzur said. He walked by with his shirt covered with stains of blood. Takamina, knowing the bejewelled headhunter well, assumed the worst.

"Let's get the good news first out of the way." Wulfgar said.

"Well he spilled the beans on where the Red Sun's HQ is. No wonder we have a hard time tracking their movements. Bastards hs'been using the Forge's sewage tunnels." Gizzur said.

"And the bad news?" Takamina asked.

"Its f***ing old Enkeli Forge." Gizzur answered.

"Are these guys idiots? Didn't we lock that place out after that pest invasion 40 years ago?"one of the Huscarls said.

"Well the must haven't read the memo on the gate saying 'Keep Out'. If I remember correctly, Baizan barely survived the Necrophages last time before Gewis came to quell it. I remember losing a friend in that battle." Gizzur said.

"What are these Necrophages you talk about?" Yukirin asked.

"A pestilent scourge on Auriga. Sentient insectoids who ravage all of Auriga just to sate their hunger. Their a hive minded race with each horde commanded by an Alpha or a Queen. Gewis sealed up the forge and sealed every means of escape for the Necrophages to starve them out. That is until your fellow Japanische came and unsealed what Gewis desperately tried to seal away." Gizzur said.

"So if the Reds unsealed the underground tunnels then we can get inside?" Wulfgar asked.

"Yes, but you may run in to both rebel scum and possibly some Necrophages. And I declare Blitz-Gehirn!" Eslek said.

A Blitz-Gehirn is a term used by Gimaelic Raid leaders where they gather up their warbands and plan. The term is now used in all forms of group planning. All of the soldiers and Takamina huddled up to discuss their plan to end the Japanese slave rebellion.

"Ok, so we can try maybe some sort of underground assault on the old forge? We can catch the scum by surprise." A Huscarl said.

"Widukind, you switch yer brain with yer again? No way in hell we can sent 1000 thousand of our guys in the tunnel without getting noticed? I think we can only send about 30 of our guys there."Wulfgar said.

"Im going with Wulfgar in this, the sewers are really that narrow."Eslek said.

"But 30 men to fight probably 1000 thousand of my people? I can tell you that we Japanese are nasty when we are angry. Wait until you see Yukirin mad." Takamina commented.

"I heard that Bakamina!" Yukirin angrily said.

"See what I mean?" Takamina proved her point.

"That's why im sending Lucillius, you and Belisarius' men to hold a negotiation with them as diversion. This would give time for our little 'special mission' group to sneek in to Engkeli forge and find away to permanently break the Red Suns will to fight. This job is for Wulfgar, his Huscarls and Gizzur with his headhunters." Eslek said.

"Good plan, but would they risk encountering these Insects that were there?" Takamina asked.

"You can trust me and Gizzur on that Minami. Just keep talking and just promise anything except a boat out of this island. We need them to stand for their crimes." Wulfgar said.

"Hai, I will do my best." Takamina gulped....

"Ok, we do this tommorow right?" Gizzur said.

"Yes everyone get some rest." Eslek concluded the Blitz-Gehirn.

---------------------

(Tommorow Morning)

"Smells like s*** in here" Gizzur said. He wasn't used to getting his feet wet with sewage water. He had to keep his head low as the sewer tunnel that they were in can barely have a grown man stand.

"How unfortunate of you, I myself can't even feel the emotion that you call 'disgusted'." Wulfgar teased.

"Ha ha, piss off!" Gizzur teased.

The group of infiltrators consisting of around 28 men were crawling like rats in the sewers for an hour now. Using an old map, the group was slowly making progress in their journey to the enemy base.

"Hey Tower, look at these. Scratch marks right?"one of the Huscarls pointed to a wall that was vandalised by scracthes.

"They must be territorial marks, could be scracted a few weeks ago. The damn pests haven't starved out after all. Keep your hands on the scabbard and yer eyes peeled lads. We may be doing some pest control today." Gizzur said, grasping his sword.

Meanwhile above ground:

Takamina marched like a toy soldier on the path in the jungle. She was followed by Lucillius and Isiaja who are leading the legionnaires through the rainforest. She is also escorting several Gimaelic and Vanoran leaders who are into the plan of ending the rebellion by force once and for all.

A thought of hesitantcy was encircling Takamina's head as she knows that if her fellow people can't be negotiated with, then the Aurigans will have no choice but to kill them. She couldn't bear the thought of imagining such a horrid sight so she focused on the path ahead of her.

"I know what your thinking Minami. I can assure you that if it comes down to that, we will spare those who surrender." Eslek said.

"If they surrender at all." Minami said.

"Hold up! Where no in bandit country now. Minami, you got the flag we made?" Isiaja said. Minamii and several soldiers earlier that they made a white flag that had the Japanese writings spell out 'Ceasefire! Let's negotiate for peace.'.

"Hai, here it is." Minami passed the flag.

Isiaja raised up the flag like a banner and they continued on their march.

After a few minutes of walking the group was surrounded by men and women in jungle camoulflage.

"Halt! Who goes there?" said one of the Red Suns.

"We come in peace. Let's negotiate with your leaders. Look I even brought some of mine to talk with you." Isiaja said in crude Japanese.

"Ok, I think your sincere. Have your men stay about 100 meters away from you and your leaders and we'll take you to ours. Don't try to do anything or we will kill you." the Red Sun said.

"Ok we won't. We want to peacefully resolve this as much as you do." Takamina said.

The group of were then escorted by a retinue of Red Suns towards Enkeli Forge. The Japanese insurgents and the Vanoran legionnaires were staring suspiciously at each other on the journey. But it was all according to plan as they saw the derelict chimneys of the old forge at the distance.

"Wulfgar, we're nearing the forge where are you now?" Eslek telepathically contacted Wulfgar.

------

(Wulfgar)

"Im about to get in. I'll see what I can do when we are inside." Wulfgar said. He pushed open a large manhole and carefully and stealthily as possible, had him and the other 30 men plus Gizzur get out of the sewers. The men shared a sigh of relief and inhaled the fresh air as the sewer stench nearly made them all faint in disgust.

"Breathe in and out lads. But not for too long, we got some hummies to kick some ." Wulfgar rallied his men.

The joint team of Huscarls and Headhunters moved out. They explored the forge and were impressed by how the Earthlings have made this abandoned forge their home. Their were some storage rooms, crudely crafted bunk beds and even a water filter.

"For weaklings, they are damn smart." Gizzur commented.

"Well maybe you should make Churi your accountant. I hear she is good with numbers." one of the Headhunters said.

"That's because her job is counting how much bolts she fired with her crossbow mate." Gizzur said.

They arrived on a forked hallway leading two ways. In the middle of the forked hallway was a sign that pointed an arrow on each direction. The arrows had been written down in two kinds of alphabet, the English Alphabet and the Japanese alphabet of Kanji. The arrow on the right said "To HQ" and the arrow on the left said "To Barracks and Living Quarters."

"Hey Wulf, How about you and yer Huskies get the HQ and maybe even shove your axe on the face of their coward leader while me and my men take the Barracks."Gizzur suggested.

"Sounds like a Plan Gizzur, lets meet up at the boiler room in half an hour. If not one of my Huscarls come back, then assume the plan went to s***. I want you to get the hell out of here as fast as you can if that happens." Wulfgar said.

"Aye, I'll see you in thirty." Gizzur said before taking the left direction leaving Wulfgar and his Huscarls to take the other direction.

"Well, the way is clear. Let's go." Wulfgar said to his men.

----------------

"So are you going to represent the Red Suns? You don't look like your Japanese." Isiaja said. He was staring at a tall man who's race in humanity is Caucasian. He was wearing a MARPAT patterned uniform with a flag that had red and white stripes on three-fourths of the flag and the other quarter being a blue space with 50 stars embedded on it.

"I was one of the defenders that defended Tokyo during the raid. Me and my marines were captured alongside some members of the JSDF and even more civilians. We were sent here on this God-forsaken to be laborers. We revolted and made our way into this jungle." the white man said.

"They are called the US army. They are soldiers allied with ours." Takamina explained to everyone.

"Allies, curious very, very curious indeed." Eslek said.

"Scholarly words from a Gimaelic. If I remembered right they often say 'Let me bite this f***** in the face' or 'This loot is mine scum!' when I was captured." The man said.

"You haven't even introduce your name Earthling." Isiaja said.

"Sorry, I am Captain Walter of the United States Marine corp and I am one of the leaders of the Red Suns." the man declared.

"I don't give a damn of who you are where you come from Earth Human. What matters is that you and you rebel scum terrorized the country side." Isiaja said.

"We were scavenging for food and the farms we have destroyed was unfortunate collateral damage." Walter said.

" 'Unfortunate'? The farmers said your mean threw these bottles of fire into their barns before running off with the sacks of Bucella." Isiaja argued.

Takamina was shocked to here Isiaja accusing the American Marine and the JSDF soldiers surrounding them were accused of. They have descended into banditry? Had they devolved so low in such a short time?

"They were resisting to out demand so we made them give the food to us." Walter replied.

"Why I 'ought a---"Isiaja angrily stood up but Takamina stopped him from exploding into an unnecessary outburst.

"Sit down." Takamina said.

Isiaja grumbled and sat down on his chair. His face was frustrated and his arms crossed.

"Captain Walter is it? I represent the Gimaelic's in this little insurrection we have. I can use my power to have you and your band of bandits forgiven if you simply surrender and knee before our High King Gewis Eadwulf and hope he is in a good mood when you do." Eslek said.

"Over my dead body you will! This talk is just a waste of my time!" Walter turned around only to be greeted in his face when he turned a  spear.

It was a Sebharii Night Raider painted head to toe in black. Suddenly even more Sebharii soldiers appeared out of there cloaks and surrounded the Red Suns. They were followed by the Vanoran Legionnaires who drew their swords. The rebels were surrounded and they had no other choice but to surreder to the barbarians and their Roman-like allies.

"Then I will have to take you as my prisoner."Eslek sinisterly said. He put his hands behind his back like a mastermind overseeing the success of his subordinates.

(Flashback)

"If I even think that things are going south for this little talk of yours. I am going to call in the Night Raiders do you understand me?" Eslek said to Takamina last night.

"But I believe I can..."

"No 'buts'! This is war little girl. You should let the big men do the job."

(End Flashback)

Yukirin stood from a safe distance on a elevated yet hidden position. She was secretly following the Takamina and wanted to make sure that her friend is safe. Takamina has always been there for AKB eversince and to see Takamina now putting her life on the line was something too far for Yukirin to accept. She know Minami has done some sacrifices before but to see her make this kind was something she felt to hard to bear for her to just see. She wanted to get the old Takamina the GM back and just run awau with her and the other girls when they get a chance.

But when she thinks of running away she had a small voice on her conscience telling her to stay. The only reason she hadn't try to run away from these smelly and vile Barbarians called the Gimaelics was from a kind and protective Lumberjack and Huscarl named Wulfgar 'the Tower' Bjornnsson. She always felt safe when he is around and Wulfgar would always get her food whenever and whatever she wanted which made her cope that she is in another planet. She had learned to trust Wulfgar as he was being a gentle giant to her.

But right now she must make sure her senpai Takamina was safe. Yukirin slowly followed the crowd of soldiers with them.

"I'm coming for you Bakamina." Takamina said blackly.

----------------

(Back at Enkeli forge)

Wulfgar and his men were hiding behind a door. They have been infiltrating the Red Sun HQ for awhile now and have just penetrated the heart of the insurgent's war machine. They have overheard talking inside inside the room that the door was connected too. Any form of Intel is useful at this point in their mission and listening to the leaders.

"So Walter is going to talk with them right now? I hope we can get something out of this."the voice of an apparently elderly man spoke.

"I don't think so. It maybe a trap."said a mature femal voice.

"Well if it is, I had my men starp some explosives ready to demolish anything at the basin near our western entrance." said another voice.

Then the Huscarls heard the sound of a door being quickly opened.

"Commander Kikuchi! Disaster maam! Walter has been captured and he with his men. And they look like they are marching here. We have been found!" said another voice.

"Damnit! Detonate the charges in the Basin now!" the voice of Commander Kikuchi said.

Wulfgar knew that the Basin near Enkeli fields are prone to sinkholes and wouldn't take an explosion well. He also knew it might give the resting necrophage hive a place to get out and to spread there vile and disgusting population.

"Like hell you won't!" Wulfgar kicked open the door much to the suprise of his men and the people of his room. He dashed for one of the people in the room and punched the man in the face knocking him out.

"Intruder!" one of the Red Sun soldier's said. Before he could draw his gun at Wulfgar's direction he was impaled in the abdomen by one of the Huscarl's swords.

Commander Kikuchi reached for the detonator that the engineer who came in to report of Walter's capture brought. She narrowly was able to push the button before Wulfgar pinned her to the wall with his brutish strength.

"You Idiot! Do you Yamanin scum know what you just did?!?"Wulfgar yelled infront of her face.

"Too late Yokai!" Kikuchi spat at his face.

Unknown to Wulfgar, the commander was able to pull out her pistol from her belt. She cocked the gun and fired a few rounds. The bullets of course couldn't harm him in anyway. 'Tower' reacted by pushing the commander of the Red Suns to the wall several times with his strong arms. The commander, not able to handle the sheer power of Wulfgar, dropped her pistol and panted.

"I just killed your friends....you....barbarian....scum..." Kikuchi cackled.

"No, you doomed this entire island with your ignorant hubris!" Wulfgar said. He headbutted Commander Kikuchi knocking her out.

Wulfgar turned around with his men who just heard the possible doom of their Vanoran allies. Shocked but stiil resolute.

"Don't falter men, they may still be a few allive. We haven't failed our oath just yet. Let's find Gizzur now." Wulfgar spoke.

The Huscarls ran out of the command room of the HQ, now the entire base of the Red Sun rebels are now in full alert of their prescence. Running past the alarms and killing a few rebels on the way they reached a large heavy looking service door. They saw Gizzur and his men trying to open the large gate.

"Hoy! Wulfy! Help us out over here." Gizzur said.

Wulfgar and his Huscarl's helped Gizzur open the door. When the door opened up a gap, Wulfgar came over and placed his hands inside to pry it open. As the sunlight of outside breached his eye sockets, he saw a figure of a Red Sun that was at the otherside of the door.

"Their here!" the rebel said when he turned around to see Wulfgar.

"S***. we've been found! Get out of here!" Wulfgar said. Everyone of the Gimaelics turned around and dashed away from the door. The group narrowly dodged all of the bullets before diving themselves into a room that had a sign say 'Treasure room'.

The Gimaelics catched their breath after they ran for their lives. Wulfgar observed the room they were all in. It seems to be like any other Treasure room only everything inside looked like they clearly belonged to someone else.

"The thieves! They even stole a standing stone! Heresy!" Gizzur commented.

Wulfgar looked around the room seeing more ill-gotten wealth that the Red Suns stole. He indeed agreed with Gizzur. They stole a King's fortune of Ducats and valuable items. The Earthlings had the guts to steal this much of wealth and deny the owner at least a fight. When a Gimaelic does a standard robbery raid, they would first kill or at least maim the owner of an item they want before even laying a finger on it. His disgust nearly made him over look a rather unusual box when he walked by it.

It was a gray box that held the symbols of the Scholae Archaelogistum, the branch of Auriga's Bishops incharge of the excavation of all discovered Endless ruins. Curiousity made the Huscarl opened the box to peek on its contents. After lifting the locking bar of the box and pulling open the door, he was struck in awe at what he saw.

"These are no tomes or scrolls of the Endless. These are weapons of Ancient Broken Lord Technology, dating back to the Endless Golden Age." He said.

------------------

(Meanwhile at the Basin)

"The Necrophages are attacking!" Lucillius shouted

The sudden explosion had killed or injured nearly everyone, whether Red Sun or Vanoran Legionnair alike. Now the two previously fighting factions are fighting together for their own survival. The Necrophages rushed towards the surrounded men with their acidic saliva drooling over their insectoid mandibles.

Captain Walter and his men who were just told of the nature of the Necrophages were allowed to get their guns to help fight them off.

"Die Xeno!"Walter said after spraying lead to a forager* with his M249 light machine gun.

"We need reinforcements theirs too many of them!" Takamina said. She fired a volley rounds of her pistol towards the rushing horde.

"Wulfgar! Where are you? We need your axe to whirl us out of here! Abort Mission now!" Eslek telepathically contacted Wulfgar.

"Understood, hold fast! I'm coming!" Wulfgar replied.

After the telepathic transmission with 'Tower' however a dozen very large Necrophage warriors erupted from the sinkhole that the explosives created. They carried crudely made but humongous iron weapons and the look on their frothing mouths mean they are hungry for flesh.

Meanwhile Yukirin has some problems of her own.

"No! Dont eat me!" Yukirin said. She was previously running away from the Necrophages who caught her scent. She tripped and fell down twisting her ankle.

"EAT FLESHY HUMAN!" one of the Necrophages barely said coherently.

Yukirin closed her eyes, she should not have went on to this stupid journey for Takamina and now she is going to be chow for the insects.

"TE HETA HADA WODAN!" a yell came from the distance.

Yukirin didn't want to see what is going to happen so she continued to close her eyes. She heard fighting with animalistic screaming, the clash of blades and gunfire. Then everything went quiet.

"Yuki? What are you doing here?" Wulfgar said. He pulled Yukirin up.

"Ouch my leg, its broken." She said.

"You could have gotten yourself killed Yukirin! I could get executed if something happened to you." Wulfgar said. Yukirin noticed that he was wearing an unusually thick armor that was colored brass.

"You could get executed? But you can't die." Yukirin said.

"Well Rainoric and his father are men who doesn't tolerate failure and Broken Lords are no exception. He actually got a specially made knife used for killing incompetent Broken Lords. Please for my sake stay safe, im already risking my life twice as much protecting you and his friend's friend." Wulfgar said.

"You are really having that much burden on your soldiers. That's like Takamina..." Yukirin thought of her friend.

"Well Takamina will have the unfortunate opportunity of being Necro chow if we don't help her right now." Wulfgar said. He gently grabbed Yukirin and tightly wrapped her in his left arm.

"Let's go! We got some Vanorans to save.... again!" Wulfgar yelled to his men. The other Huscarls and headhunters followed him also cladded in similar armor, some larger than the other.

-----------

The Vanorans and their unexpected allies the Red Suns were surrounded by Nercrophages. Things looked grim for the soldiers as they desperately try to kill as many Necrophages. They know if they fail here, then the entire Baizan Archipelago will become a hive land for the Necrophages to breed more offspring of their foul race of parasitic insectoids.

"Damnation we need reinforcements!" Captain Walter said, he was down to his last nuggets ammo and he almost felt like giving up.

"TE HETA HADA WODAN!!!!" A voice shouted that caused everyone and the Necrophages to turn around to the source.

It was Wulfgar, Gizzur and there men. All cladded in armor and some sporting relic like guns unlike anything that everyone has seen before.

(What those the Paladins look like? These photos will are what they look like. And guess who assmbled and painted them)

"Wulfgar and Paladins ready for battle!" He said. He was holding on his hands a pistol one hand and Yukirin on the other. His axe was sheathed behind him which created a large shadow as it blocked the sun.

"Hold on Yuki, its going to be bloody." He said to Yuki. He carefully firmed his grasp on Yuki as he yelled and leaded the charge against the Necrophages.

"Purge the Insectoid Filth from our lands!" yelled one of the soldiers who was cladded in Paladin Armor.

The soldiers shot, bashed or hacked their way to their friends. With renewed fervor and zeal, the Vanorans and the Red Suns commenced an all-out attack with what little strength they have left.

"Forward! Kill them all!" Isiaja said.

"Legio! Attack!" Takamina shouted.

An all out fight against the Necrophages has commenced. The tables had the insectoids as the arrival of the Paladins evened the playingfield.

"Coming through!" Wulfgar yelled. He shot his pistol at the Necrophages that were in his way. His hand was wobbly and his aim was below mediocre as he never shot a pistol before. The recoil's force was like when a giant twitched as every bullet was fired. Some bullets missed while others when it hit their mark, the receiver explodes in a blood gory mess. Yukirin who was still holding on to Wulfgar's arm prayed she will live to see through this and the only one capable protecting her was Wulfgar her so called 'Bodyguard'.

"Minami! Yukirin got injured, no time to explain. I got to kill these foul beasts!" Wulfgar dropped Yukirin next to a surpised Takamina before sheathing his pistol and bringing out his axe.

"Be careful." Takamina warned. Wulfgar left off to join the fight.

Takamina turned around to Yukirin. Why was she following her and everyone into a clearly dangerous place? Is she that stupid? She ignored Yukirin's urgent need for medical attention and asked her.

"Yuki? What are you doing here?"

"Can't you see my leg is twisted? Help me please it hurts." Yukirin cried. Tears of pain rolling in her eyes.

"Answer me first." Takamina said. The stress of battle made her mind angry and full of rage.

Yukirin noticed that Takamina is now having her rare 'Black Moments'. Her friend's face was serious and Yukirin broke down crying and confessed.

"I..I...I... just.....*sniff*.... I was so scared......I thought you were changing....I didn't want to lose you...... I lost so much when I was taken. My home, my clothes, my friends and my Idol image. I didn't want to lose you, you're *sniff* the only one that is keeping me sane. *sniff* I was afraid I'm going to lose you. You were always with me eversince we reunited. And I...." Yukirin teared up.

Takamina caressed Yuki's cheek, caringly wiping away a tear drop.
"You were that concerned? You risked your life just to be near me? You won't actually believe how I needed something like that right now." Takamina shedded a tear and hugged Yukirin.

"Eh? Really? Why?" Yukirin asked.

"When I first took the job as a Drill Sargeant, I did it to protect you girls. If you have a friend who works in the military especially the Vanorans. I know that with the job I got, I can earn Ducats and buy you stuff that you want. Like I gave half of my salary to Wulfgar so he can treat you to dinner at that Izakaya place you went." Takamina confessed back to Yuki.

"Wow, thank you. I don't know what to say." Yukirin blushed.

Despite the two AKB girls sharing a heart to heart moment, they are still any middle of a fight.

"Wulfgar told me all about what happened. Show me your leg now." One of the Huscarls cladded in Paladin armor said.

Yukirin stretched out her leg and let the Huscarl tend to her wounds.

------------------------

"Kill them all!" Gizzur yelled.

"TE HETA HADA WODAN!" the Gimaelics yelled.

The Paladins charged at the Necrophages yelling their battle-hardened hearts to a frenzy. The ones with guns shot relentlessly at the Necrophages cutting them down with ease. Some of their guns released a great ball of energy that when it landed on impact, it exploded knocking down anything near the initial splash point.

"To the gates of Heaven!!!" Wulfgar yelled. He set his sights on one of the large Necrophages and ran towards the xenomorph. Scared out of its wits. The terrified Necrophage tried to turn around and flee with its tail behind its back. But Wulfgar raised his axe and sank his axe right between the middle of the insectoid's head splitting it in half.

Other similarly sized Necrophages were either filled with lead from the old yet still usable guns or were cut down where they stand with their Dust-powered weapons.

"Hiya! Take that! And that scum!" one of the Huscarls said.

"Your'e a crazy motherf****** Barbarian!"Commande Walter said.

"War is what I was born to do Earthling. Let's keep killing these pests." the Huscarl replied.

The Red Sun's American leader pulled out his knife as he already ran out of ammunition and ed the six inched bayonet at the chest of a forager. Its green blood spilling on his shirt.

"Watch the blood! Its poisonous!" Gizzur warned.

"Well a warning like that would have been appropriate!" Walter yelled back.

The battle had its tide turned in favor of the Paladin reinforced Vanorans and their rather reluctant prisoners. Every crack of their relic guns and a twist of their blades slew the Necrophages. They kept fighting and fighting not letting their tired bodies hinder them or their fear falter their resolve. As the last of the Necrophages was taken down by the hack of Wulfgar's ash, the basin was a bloody battlefield with dead bodies lying down on the floor and the scent of ash from the explosion still fresh to smell like a cooked breakfast on a quiet morning. The ground  was calm except the panting of tired but victorious soldiers.

"We did it!" Takaminar raised her hand. Everyone who survived the battle celebrated. Some Vanorans were hugging each other, Gimaelics were raising their weapons and the Red Suns were cheering 'Banzai' or 'Huaaah'.

They reveled their victory for a few minutes, untill a large group of more Red Suns arrived in the Basin. They were lead by a rather limp but still physically able Commander Kikuchi.

"What is going on here?" She questioned.

The Aurigans quickly made the Red Suns who were on their side kneel down. They pulled out their guns and swords and pointed at them as a face-off between the 2 warring sides initiated. The Red Suns of Commander Kikuchi pointed their guns at the Aurigans who also pointed theirs back. It seemed the day won't be over yet, and another fight is about to begin with more blood to be shed.

"Wulfgar, Eslek, anyone, we need to do something! We are surrounded." Lucillius said.

Wulfgar looked around him, the bodies of dead soldiers and Necrophages surrounded everyone and this rebellion has already cost so much for everyon both financially and morally degrading. He turned to Minami who was carrying an injured Yukirin.

"Takamina, Yuki, come with me."He said.

"Eh why?" Takamina asked.

"Where stopping this now. Or we won't stop this ever." Wulfgar said. He walked forward pushing away the soldiers but Isiaja stopped him.

"Just where are you going 'Tower'?" He asked.

"Out of my way Antesignani, I'm going to fufill my oath." Wulfgar replied.

"What is your oath...Wulfgar-san?" Yuki asked while being supported by Takamina.

"I was sworn by the very day I became a Huscarl that I protect all of what my Master owns, those who are under his protection and care and those he deems as friends. I must be the 'Tower' that protects its inhabitants from harm or I kill those who try to." Wulfgar said.

"No, noone else dies today, if you think theirs still a chance we can stop this war now well better late than never. Go then." Isiaja walked aside letting Wulfgar go forward.

"Stay here Yuki." Takamina dropped Yuki.

"Be careful." Yukirin said.

The two walked forward to the middle of the ground where the two groups who were standing off. Wulfgar dropped his pistol and axe. Takamina also dropped her pistol and sword too. Then Wulfgar spoke:

"I know you people. Earthlings you would call youselves. I got to know you for awhile, both in the battlefield and out. I met some of you outside of this island. You are weak, sometimes ignorant and overall a pathetic race. Yet I learned you are smart, your stubborn and kind to people you don't know. Now I stand here today to ask you. What is the point of this whole rebellion? You all started out as rebels who are fighting for your freedom but now you descended to nothing more than mere banditry and just outright terrorism. Look at this what I am wearing. This armor and guns you stole only demonstrate our power that you Yamanin can only just dream of ever having. Look around you! The dead around you just demonstrates what will happen to you if you keep on fighting againsts us." Wulfgar waved his hands around several dead bodies to the Red Suns pointing guns at him.

Takamina walked forward knowing that the fate of her people and her new friends are shouldering her. She hardened her heart when several guns were pointed at her and she gave her own words to compliment Wulfgar's:

"What Wulfgar saying is true. Please stop this war now before its too late. Everyone will lose if we keep fighting eachother. You lose as you will all die never to see Earth again and the Aurigans will lose since you razed their island and killed someones son, father or brother. What he is offering you now are these two choices that you still have. Peace for you, your wives and your children tommorow or war today." She said.

A moment of silenced and stillness followed Takamina's words. The faces of her fellow countrymen were astonished by both Wulfgar's and her words. Then after what seemed like forever, one by one, the Red Sun rebels dropped their guns and raised their hands in surreder. They walked towards the Aurigans. They then ordered to kneeled down as the Aurigan's handcuffed them.

Lucillius was about to wrap a sack of cloth on the head of Commander Kikuchi but Takamina stopped him.

"No..they aren't prisoners."Takamina said.

"Then what are they? Guests?" Lucillius questioned his superior.

"They are our guests, in our prisons." Takamina replied.

After all of the Red Sun rebels and their non-combatants from the Enkeli Forge were rounded up, they were then marched back to the Dockyard where the Gedriht is staying.

Next time in BCB:

A spearman, a Young Wolf and a bird lover journey into the secret world of flesh and pleasure to bring back from that cesspool of broken hearts and one-night stands. Two friends that the bird lover desperately needs to find.

Meanwhile, they are being chased around by a relentless trafficking cartel of mages who will go through all means to stop them.

Chapter 6: Hmm. So things are certainly unfolding at a quick pace here. It's a little bit tricky keeping track of things because the forces were jumping around on Earth, showing up in one place when they were apparently expected in another, and the defenses against the intruders seem pretty ineffective. I know they're space faring warriors but couldn't we get a little more detail beyond 'necklaces' that protect them. How exactly do these things protect them?

I do like how you've been explaining more and giving more detail as the story progresses, so that's definitely something, but I have noticed a relative habit of how your voice suddenly jumps in to mention how this will be important later or explains something in the now and it's jarring. You could have one of the characters explain things mid-story, or even use the non-dialogue space to add world details that wouldn't pull the reader out of the moment when they're reading.

I was also a little confused by Rainoric's reaction to Sakura because he, and his people/friends, seem to be treating slaves with remarkable manners. But who knows. Maybe that's just the way they treat beings so far below them. *shrug* I also would prefer if you actually did more showing instead of telling with your battle scenes as opposed to saying "I'll let you use your imagination here." It comes off as lazy writing. I can imagine plenty, but I still want guidelines when you're showing me your world and what's happening in it. Do you know what I mean?

In this chapter, I was also curious when Sakura hit her head? I didn't catch that so I was surprised when she was suddenly waking up from a week long coma. :S But things are slowly starting to come together and while I'm not sure what the larger, central conflict of the world is going to be just yet, you seem to have tension aplenty between the people as a warrior race, if nothing else.

Chapter 3: Okay. So I'm just starting to read this and while I probably won't comment on every chapter, I do intend to pause every so often. I think the image in the character bio page is broken since I can't see the picture at all. I'm personally not a huge fan of character bios in the beginning of the story myself but in this case, I do think it's helpful information since most of the characters are almost completely new (goodness knows I've never heard of most of them haha).

For this chapter, I have at least begun to get an idea of what's going on in the story, though I find myself wishing for more description. What do these people look like? What sorts of mannerisms do they have, other than surprising knockouts when someone is apparently talking too long? Are they all humanoid? Do any of them talk with accents? These kinds of things. I did appreciate the explanations at the bottom of the chapter, though I also think you might have been able to work them into the story. While I also appreciate you have linked the information available for us to read up on the Endless game series, it's also something I tend to think you may want to work on incorporating more yourself. Then again, I don't know if you were expecting people to be familiar with the Endless game series if they found your story, so that could just be me at the moment.

I would say be careful with some of your spellings since I noticed a few mistakes here and there, but overall, things are easy enough to understand. I'm curious to see how the rest of the world/story unfolds with that tag you've added at the end of this update in regards to world changing consequences. heh We shall see.
