„So, Daehyun.“ Kai smiled at his new friend in the middle of physic class. „How is it going with this Youngjae guy?“

„What?“ Daehyun said little too loudly so the teacher told them to shut up.

„Ou, don’t play so innocent,“ Kai whispered, „I have seen you two after class.“

„We are just friends.“ Daehyun said

„Yeah, sure.“ Kai smiled like a creep.

„We are, it is not normal to date guys, “ Daehyun said while looking back to the board.

„So, you are calling me not normal?“ Kai acted hurt.

„What?“ Daehyun didn’t understand.

„You two there,“ teacher pointed to Kai and Daehyun, „If you need to say something then do it after class now please be quiet.“

„Sorry, teacher.“ They said at the same time and stayed quiet for the rest of the class.

„I am gay.“ Kai said while walking out of the class.

Daehyun turned around and stared at him.

„Am I not good for you now?“ Kai said with furrowed eyebrows.

„That is why you don’t go out with those girls who ask you?“

„Yes and no.“ Daehyun saw a little pink in Kai’s cheeks.

„Ooh ... you have a boyfriend already?“ Daehyun asked with big eyes.

Kai just nodded while smiling widely

„I am happy for you“

„Are you?“ Kai stopped smiling. „You just called me a creep in there.“

„Sorry.“ Daehyun looked at his feet.

„So you do like this Youngjae guy?“ Kai asked with a friendly voice.

„I don’t know“

„What is there not to know?“ Kai smiled. „I know how you look at him.“

„I....i do...“ Daehyun took a breath. „I don’t know what is love.“ He said hiding his face.

„That is easy.“ Kai said while grabbing his wrist. „Come.“

They went to the backyard.

„See them?“ Kai pointed to some couples.

„They are happy to be together, they hold hands like it is natural.“ Kai tried to explain.

„Well ...“ Daehyun thought. „I am happy to be with you right now and ...“ He pointed to his wrist. „You are holding my hand, Kai, am I in love with you?“ Daehyun said with a serious face.

Kai looked down and released his hand.

„You are more complicated than I thought and no I don’t think so.“ Kai said while scratching his neck.

„Thank god, “ Daehyun said.

„Thank god? What is that supposed to mean?“ Kai acted hurt.  „I am a perfect living person, you should be honoured to be in love with me.“

„Well ...“ Daehyun made a straight face. „I am happy to be your friend but please, don’t think too much of yourself.“

Kai punched Daehyun to the shoulder. „I am gonna asks you some questions and if you answer yes to many of them you are in love ... with Youngjae, got it?“

„Sure thing,“ Daehyun said, „But I don’t believe I am in love with him.“

„Do you want to be with him?“

„Yes.“ Daehyun said while Kai was smiling at him. „But I want to be with many people, you for example.“

„Do you want to hold him?“

„Maybe ..., what do you mean hold?“

„Are you too afraid to touch him?“

„Where are you going with this?“

„Answer me“ Kai demanded.

„Yes.“

„Have you thought of him today?“

„Sure I have, I saw him ear..“ Daehyun tried to explain but Kai asked again.

„Do you blush more often around him?“

„Well ...“ Daehyun started to blush ...“ I blush pretty often so I don’t think that’s important.“

„Have you ever thought of kissing him?“

That only made Daehyun blush more.

„See?“ Kai said with a victorious smile

„Ouuu I almost forgot ... butterflies, do you feel them?“

Daehyun just nodded while looking at the ground.

„Love isn’t something only between a man and a woman. It can be with anyone and you have to hold onto it if you find someone to love.“ Kai said. „Some people never find their love and as I have understood you already have ... so you are lucky and you should never let go of that.“

Daehyun didn’t know what to say, he felt how he started weeping.

„Thank you, “ Dae said.

„You are welcome.“ Kai smiled and hugged his friend.

„What are you doing?“ Daehyun heard how someone said behind him.

„Kyungsoo, “ Kai said with a huge smile. „This is Daehyun.“ He pointed to Dae who only waved at him with a blush.

„Nice to finally meet you, “  Kyungsoo said happily but looking at Kai with a * I kill you later* face.

„Finally?“

„Kai has told me a lot about you.“

„Is that so?“ Daehyun said while looking at Kai who was now looking at the sky.

„Yes.“ Kyungsoo smiled.

„Who are you, “ Daehyun asked carefully.

„I am sorry, I am Do Kyungsoo, Kai’s boyfriend“

„Of course we were just talking about you, “ Daehyun said happily recognising Do.

„Really?“ Kyungsoo raised an eyebrow towards Kai.

„No, we were not.“ Kai said while looking at Daehyun. „We were talking about your crush here.“

„Don’t do that.“ Daehyun said coldly.

„I won’t.“ Kai smiled and ruffled his hair. „Well I am going now, see you tomorrow?“ Kai asked.

„Sure thing.“ Daehyun smiled and thanked him.

When Daehyun was walking home he thought about what Kai had told him before. I feel happy around him. I feel butterflies I love to be with him ... I love him.

When he reached home he took his guitar and played some easy tunes with it like Youngjae had taught him. He felt so happy and completed. Now it was only one problem ... how to tell Youngjae that. And what if he hates him after that, what if he doesn’t want to be friends with him after that anymore? It is better to be like we are now. I’ll tell him someday but not now. Daehyun thought while playing his guitar warm feeling inside his heart.
