They get home with smiles on their faces. Seulgi, for one, was tired but happy. Irene who slept the whole ride back, surprisingly, just held on to her arm like a koala. She secretly loves it, though she never mentions it to the older girl. She wanted them to keep it a bay, not too much but not too invisible.

She loves Irene.

She wanted to be proud she was loved by the one Bae Joohyun.

But with the still closed world around them, Seulgi had to keep things minimal in public.

 “Love…” Seulgi whispered as she tried to take her girlfriend back from her slumber.

It was a good thing Wendy proposed the couple should take a seat at the back. At least they don’t get to surprise the easily tensed leader as they get off.

“Baechu…” Seulgi whispers and leans to place a kiss on Irene’s temple.

The older girl moves but does not wake up. Her small hands pull Seulgi’s to her chest hugging them like they were pillows.

“Love… We’re home… You can just go back to it on our bed…”

Irene mumbles something but still doesn’t open her eyes.

Seulgi smiled and placed a finger on Irene’s chin.

She leans and places a kiss on the sleeping beauty’s lips.

Slowly she saw those red lips curve into a smile as she moved away.

“Thought you’ll never wake up…” Seulgi kisses the older girl again and then starts to get their things.

Irene gently tugs her harm so that Seulgi would turn to her. As Seulgi did so, Irene kisses her.

“Ummm… That’s enough for today love. We need to get to the dorm so you can sleep some more.”

“A few more minutes and a few more kisses please love…” The older whines and pulls Seulgi who happily obliges to a gentle kiss. The feel a knock on the door, their manager was discretely interrupting their moment.

Irene nods and takes their phones on their way out of the vehicle.

Hand in hand they walk towards the dorm and Seulgi notices something. Irene was side-eyeing her heatedly again. She allows Irene to enter and saw that Wendy started dinner already.

“What took you so long?”

“Grandmother is a little hard to wake…” Seulgi smiles and hears Irene complain from their room.

“YAH!”

“I love you too!” Seulgi screams back and immediately helps her best friend.

“So you’re coming with me for Christmas right?”

“Yes, Kang Seulgi. One would think you would take your girlfriend instead of me.”

Seulgi smiles and back hugs Wendy.

“Well we can’t have the families together for the holidays. You know how my mother was. I can’t spend it with her since her father kind of hates me at the moment. He is still pressing that it was my mother’s fault. We do want to get married when the time comes. They both misread it as we want to do it now. We are both trying to make them feel less awkward by not forcing the issue.”

“It’s Christmas bear… But you know what, my mom said when we can you are both welcome at home and spend Christmas together with my family.”

“Thanks Wan-Ah… You know I love you right.” Seulgi beams as Wendy looks back over her shoulder and smiles back.

“I know. I love you too. But maybe not more than how much Irene-Unnie loves you…”

Seulgi looks where her best friend was looking at and smiled widely.

Irene had already changed to her home clothes looking really pretty and hot leaning on their bedroom door.

“I think she wants you.” Wendy jokes and earns a wink from the eldest.

“Unnie!” Yeri runs towards Seulgi who’s eyes didn’t leave Irene’s.

“Joy-Unnie bought us gifts. Look at the photos she sent.”

Seulgi looks at their maknae for a few seconds then her eyes were on Irene’s again.

The older girl bites her lips and turns towards their room. Seulgi eyes locked her gaze on Irene with her hands on Yeri.

Yeri realizes what she stumbled upon and turns to Wendy who merely nods.

“Unnie… It’s okay. I can tell you all about it tomorrow.” The words earn a kiss on her forehead.
