"Yah! Oh Sehun!" The nine year old Youngchae half yelled at her best friend. She pouted and rested her hands on her hip as she glared at the boy who was playing video game in the living room of his house. She had came to his house just to give him a surprise but he was not even paying any attention on her. 

"Shut up, Chae. I need– ugh– win this match!" The nine year old Sehun replied without taking his eyes off the television screen. 

"Meanie! Pay attention on me! Only me!" She whined as she walked and stood in front of him, blocking his view towards the screen. Sehun gasped as he quickly paused the game and sighed in relief. 

"Fine! What do you want, Chae?" He asked and scrunched his nose before his eyes twinkling in excitement, "I know! You're going to treat me a cup of bubble tea, right? Huh! I knew it!" He said proudly.

Rolling her eyes in annoyance, she pulled out something from her pocket and grinned at her best friend, "Tada~!" Sehun scratched the back of his head and raised a brow, "what is this?"

"This is a lucky bracelet! I bought this using my own saving so, you better take care of it! This bracelet will protect you from everything. Isn't it cool?" She giggled and wore it around his wrist as she stared at the bracelet with a genuine smile. 

"Why are you giving this to me? You should keep it so it will protect you from any badluck, stupid." Sehun said and reached out to touch the bracelet when she held his hand and shook her head. 

"I don't want to wear this. You need to wear this so that you'll be safe and..."

"and?" Sehun raised a confused brow. Youngchae held both of his hands and cup her own cheeks before she leaned forward towards Sehun. His eyes widened in surprised and he swore, his heart skipped a bit seeing her face so close to his. "...and I don't want this bracelet to protect me, I want you to protect me. I want to be protected by Sehun. Oh Sehun!" She smiled cheekily and let go of his hands.

"What if I didn't want to wear this bracelet anymore?" Sehun challenged her, trying to show that he was not affected by her small actions.

Youngchae pouted, "Returning this bracelet back to me means letting go of our friendship, so don't ever think of giving this bracelet back to me, okay? We will always be together." 

He nodded and looked down at the bracelet around his wrist as a loving smile formed on his lips. 

And that moment, he knew that it was her. He was falling for her. For his best friend. For his Chae.

Hello, it's me, suhopls. I know some of you might get confused when did you subscribed to this fic. This fic was He's My Best Friend but I don't think I'll continue writing that story so might as well recycle the old one into a new fic, right? Hehehe.
