“What are all of you doing here?” You exclaimed.

“Hello! Can we come in first?” Jonghyun answered.

“Oh right, sure! Come in.” You said as you stepped aside to let them in and mentally scolded yourself for forgetting your manners.

“Hello, ------ah.” Jinki smiled and said as he walked in.

Taemin bounced in next and gave you a hug. “Hello, noona!!!”

You laughed. “Hello, Taeminnie.”

Minho appeared and pulled Taemin off you and walked in with him after nodding and flashing you a smile. He really wasn’t a person of many words.

They were in the living room when Kibum came out of his room. “Who was-“ He began but stopped when he saw s standing in the living room.

“Whoa! What’s going on here?” He turned to you and asked.

You shook your head and shrugged. “You mean you didn’t know about this either?”

He shook his head and the both of you turned to stare at the four people who were now sprawled comfortably all over the couch and each other. Kibum raised one of his eyebrows and walked towards them.

“Yah! Sit properly!” He scolded as he smacked the thigh of the person closest to him, which just happened to be Jonghyun.

“Oww! You didn’t make to hit me, Bummie.” Jonghyun pouted and sat properly. The rest following suit, clearly afraid that they would get hit smacked too.

Kibum ignored him and crossed his arms. “So, what are all of you doing here?”

“Manager hyung said that we could come. So here we are! It’s our last trip before we debut.” Jinki answered.

“Ok, but why here?” Kibum asked.

“Because we miss you, yeobo!!” Jonghyun said and hugged Kibum tightly.

“And why my house?!” Kibum asked when he finally got out of Jonghyun’s hug.

“Because we wanted to see noona and Minhy-!” Both Minho’s and Jinki’s hands were suddenly covering Taemin’s mouth.

Kibum narrowed his eyes and stared at them. “I knew it!!”

“Aww, cupcake. Don’t be angry.” You stepped in.

“But-“ He began, his voice slightly raised.

“Shh. Minhyuk’s asleep.” You put your finger to your lips.

“But where will they sleep?!” He lowered his voice but still didn’t look too pleased.

“Omma, Jinki hyung and Jonghyun hyung can sleep with you. Minho hyung and I can sleep here, in the living room.” Taemin proclaimed.

Kibum opened his mouth and looked like he was about to argue but changed his mind at the last moment. He sighed and shook his head. “Alright, but remember that you’re the one who decided this. So don’t regret and complain about it later.” He looked at Taemin as he said this and Taemin shut his mouth while still smiling and made a locking action with his hand before throwing away the “key”.

Satisfied with his reaction, Kibum turned to the rest. “And that goes for the rest of you too. Oh, and no one is supposed to go into ------‘s room without her permission. Understood?” The four of them nodded immediately.

“Ok, come on. Let’s get settled in then. It’s time for bed. Taeminnie, you use the shower first since you need the most sleep. The shower is the first door on the left.” Taemin nodded and immediately began to gather his things.

“Jinki hyung, Jjong, follow me.” Watching Kibum dish out instructions and organizing everyone made you feel like you were watching boot camp. You smiled at your own joke and looked up to see that Taemin had already gone to the bathroom and Minho was looking at you like you were weird.

You chuckled. “Sorry, I was just thinking about how Kibum seems like a drill sergeant in the army. Oh and sorry about him too, he’s just cranky because he has been really busy. I’m sure that he’s actually really glad to see you all again.”

“Oh, don’t worry about that, noona. I know we don’t look it but we’re actually really thankful to have him around to nag us now. When he left, everything was so chaotic. No one cooked or nagged us to clean or took care of us when we didn’t feel well. He was really like a “mom” to us so it felt really odd when he wasn’t there. Jinki hyung tried his best to fill Kibum’s shoes while he was gone, and I’m not saying that he did a bad job, but I really don’t think anyone can replace Kibum. I think Jonghyun hyung and Taemin had the hardest time without Kibum.” Minho explained.

You blinked. “Wow. That is the most I’ve ever heard you say.” Minho smiled awkwardly and looked away, rubbing his neck at the same.

You chuckled. “I guess I’ve borrowed Kibum for long enough. I should give him back, shouldn’t I?” You said in a light-hearted tone and added, “Didn’t I tell you not to call me ‘noona’? I’m only one month older than you! You’re making me sound so old.”

“But I’m already used it, can’t I just continue calling you noona?” Minho half-whined.

“Oh alright, I can’t say that I understand it but if it makes you comfortable then I’m fine with it.” You gave in.

Taemin came out of the bathroom, a towel over his head as he tried to dry his hair with one hand. “Hyung, you can use the shower now.”

Minho nodded and quickly gathered his things and went into the bathroom. You saw Taemin still struggling with drying his hair so you walked towards him and made him sit on the couch while you helped him dry his hair.

You were now in the kitchen preparing some ramyun for everyone because Taemin had said that he was hungry while you were drying his hair and you decided to make enough for the rest as well. You quickly made the food and placed everything on the dining table before telling Taemin to call his hyungs and that you would go to bed first. It was already past midnight and you would need to wake up soon to feed Minhyuk.

True enough, you woke up a few hours later to Minhyuk’s cries and groaned into your pillow before rolling out of bed and picking Minhyuk up from his cot. You went to the kitchen and prepared his bottle before you padded as softly as you could back to your room. You had to take extra care not to make loud noises because didn’t want to wake Taemin or Minho up.

You had just given Minhyuk his bottle when you heard a soft knock and your bedroom door was opened to reveal a somewhat tired looking Taemin. “Noona, can I come in?” He asked quietly.

“Sure! But shut the door behind you so the others don’t wake if Minhyuk cries.” You answered.

Taemin came and sat beside you, watching Minhyuk as he continued to drink his milk.

“Did we wake you?” You asked.

Taemin shook his head. “Nope. I’ve been tossing for the last few hours. I’m not used to the time difference yet.”

You nodded in understanding. “Do you want me to warm up some milk for you when we’re done here?”

“It’s ok, noona. I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight but I should be fine by tomorrow. Don’t worry about me. I’m all grown up now.” He said, lightly thumping his chest.

You smiled and nodded but didn’t say anything else.

When Minhyuk was done with his bottle, you placed a cloth rag over your shoulder and was about to begin burping him when you saw Taemin looking at you with fascination.

“Do you want to try?” You asked.

Taemin shrank back a little and waved his hands in front of him. “I don’t know how.”

“I’ll teach you. It’s really simple.” You took the cloth off your shoulder and put it on his before carefully placing Minhyuk against his chest and positioning his head over Taemin’s shoulder. You placed Taemin’s hand on Minhyuk’s back and gestured for him to pat upwards gently. Taemin complied awkwardly at first but got the hang of it very quickly. Before long, Taemin had successfully burped Minhyuk and you managed to coax Minhyuk back to sleep without much difficulty.
