They say the truth will set you free, so why does it hurt so much. 

Like most young adults, Myung Hee has wondered what her purpose is in life and on Earth, but the answer never came. She has no biological family, only a small group of friends she has grown up with fill the void. The truth is something insignificant but she wonders if it would change anything in her life. She has been hidden in the shadows, hidden from the truths of her life. Made an orphan at a young age with no memory of anything before that she grew up naive and distrustful. But what Myung Hee doesn’t know is that everyone she has met and trusted knows everything about her past. Myung Hee shouldn't trust anyone.

Yoseob is the opposite. He wishes he knew nothing of the past. He has separated himself from his family, rarely engages with the friends he has managed to keep, and because of a special ability, he can never forget the things he has done and encountered. Yoseob is also the only one who knows about Myung Hee's true self. Only he has seen the horrors of what secrets can do to someone. He has tried so hard to forget about the past, but he lives a guilty life knowing he can never fix what he has done.

Myung Hee’s past lies in the memories of Yoseob. He remembers everything about her; the day she was born, the day she took her first steps, the day she spoke her first word, everything. And although they have been apart for seven years, their lives have always been intertwined. After all, he is the one that drained the brightness from her and created darkness.
