He hopefully looked at the Sungmin 's eyes.

Like he was begging for him to finally say yes, but to his dismay.. he only shook his head.

In that, Kyuhyung sat up. "So, you mean.. It didn't came up to you to make us work?"

Laughing, he sat up too.. "what? Did you really hope we will work? As both men? In this society?"

He laughed again as if it was the most ridiculous thing he ever thought and heard.

"Since we were doing this for a long time now.. Why don't we try it? Right?" Sungmin laughed again. "Kyuhyun.. In  the world that's full of critics, do you really think we will work? Ah~ really.. And besides, I,  Lee Sungmin. The future heir of our company who is spontaneous and adventurous, would settle down? With a man?? Ha-ha-ha.. Come on Kyuhyun-ah.. "  

He tapped his shoulders. "I am like fireworks, I'd be ready to be shoot everywhere and anywhere. And just like the water in the river, I want to flow towards the ocean or wherever.. I.. I couldn't see myself being tied down..I can't be." He heaved a deep breath. "and yeah.. We've been doing this for a long time, and I was hoping you did understand what I meant about staying like "this" from the beginning." "but I can't stay like this. I can't stay in this kind of set up, especially that I know I don't have a hold." "and that's exactly why I don't want to settle down..  I don't want someone to get the hold of me.."

"Hmm.." Kyuhyun nodded, as if he understood what everything that Sungmin said. "But don't you love me? Even just a bit?"

There was a long silence.

He wouldn't lie, he was hoping that atleast he would answer yes in that question.

And he promise, to stay.

Just one word, just that three letter word that he will answer him, he would be contented. It would help himself to stay. But it didn't came.

It must be the longest silence they ever had, and it was an uncomfortable one too, until Kyuhyun spoke. 

"I guess it's over.." eyes glued in his fiddling fingers he said, trying to hold back his tears. 

"yeah.. I guess it is.." Looking at latter's eyes, Kyuhyun drowned himself in pain. Brokeness. And in sadness. The latter's eyes shows no doubt and regret to what he just answered. Maybe, he's just making it hard for him- in hoping that someday..

One day. There would be them. That they would be together in the end.

Blinking away his tears, Kyuhyun got up and reached for his clothes. "where are you going?" he asked.

As much as he wants to yell at him and say the hell you care! He stopped himself. His anger won't change anything anyway.. "I'll be staying at my parent's house until enlistment day.." he made his way towards the door.

"Sungmin hyung..." he was hurt as he heard how cold his voice was as he called his name.

"On that day, don't bother sending me.. Don't bother texting me a good luck message too, or even a letter when I get there.." back facing Sungmin he held his tears..

"Please."

"Kyuhyun -ah.. You can't be acting like this just because of that.."

"Why won't you let me send you?"

"Kyuhyun, we will just stop seeing each other this way.. It doesn't mean I'm  going to stop caring about you as a co-member.." Sungmin reasoned.

"Member.." smirking, Kyuhyun tried to face him.

Swallowing the Lump that has seemed to stuck in his throat.. "You know hyung.. That's what hurts me the most. That after all the ing and kissing.. After all we have done..you.. You only see me as your co-member.. Nothing else."

He let a teardrop fall.. "and you call yourself adventurous? You are not.. because people who likes adventures are risky, brave.. and unafraid. You're definitely not one of them.. " before Sungmin could even explain himself.

He was long gone.
