Guardian Angels walk among us. Everybody might not see them, but they’re there; watching over their person and following them around all day and all night. What I learned throughout the years is that everyone has one. Everyone, that is, except me. I was sixteen years old when I was in that car accident, where I almost met death at its door, but something happened…I was saved.

                Since then I have gained the ability to see them. Their prescience was light and heavenly, yes pun intended; their voices would sometimes echo into the person’s ear, as if they were the little voices in our heads, becoming our conscience. I tried to have them notice that I could actually see them, but they would ignore me; all I want to know is why I don’t have a Guardian Angel like everyone else.

                Then one day during work, that’s when I saw him. Leaning against a wall in a dark alley way, he kept looking at me. At first, I thought that he was a weird stalker, but it was the first time that I’ve seen him. When I noticed that other people weren’t noticing him…that’s when I knew that he was an angel. But he was different…he wasn’t clothed in white clothing. Instead he wore a dark outfit, the color of the night sky, and yes there was a very dull shimmer hidden behind the darkness of his clothes; as if they were stars behind a heavy clouded sky. Blending in with the darkness of the alleyway, I could see the outline of black wings.

                Who was he? Why was I starting to see him everywhere that I went? And why did he acknowledge that I saw him? But most importantly…why wasn’t he with a human? This boy…he couldn’t possibly be my Guardian…could he?
