Chapter 7

The world stopped.

Or so SeulGi would like to believe just right after what Irene said.

The question still lingers in SeulGi’s ears, trying hard to be understood.

“U-Uhm,” SeulGi unintentionally blinks more than usual.

SeulGi thinks that Irene only speaks again when Irene sees how dishevelled SeulGi has become. Irene lets a chuckle escape her lips as she says in a playful yet mocking smile,

“Ha! You wish.”

Irene continues to ridicule SeulGi with that smile of hers, “Ah! SeulGi! You’re so clueless like a bear!”

“S-Stupid Irene!” SeulGi tries not to blush, “I knew you were just joking!”

Irene continues to giggle as she pinches SeulGi’s nose before finally walking away.

Leaving SeulGi to wonder why she feels somehow disappointed with what happened.

SeulGi unexpectedly wakes up from her unexpected sleep, only to find herself sleeping on the sofa in the living room.

Maybe she is sick.

“I told you to bring an umbrella.” Irene tells it with a matter-of-fact tone, “But no, you insisted that ‘No rain can stop this bear. Mwahahah.’” Irene imitates with a lower voice and in a funny manner.

“That’s not what I said,” SeulGi argues, “And that’s not how I sound.”

“But you still went out and got sick.” Irene wins the argument.

“It’s because you asked me to buy something for you in the middle of the night and in the pouring rain.”

“I did tell you to bring an umbrella.” Irene just shrugs.

SeulGi sighs, she’s feeling weak already. “Just, let me sleep for 5 more minutes and I’ll be back to my usual self.” She covers her eyes with her arm as she lies in the couch.

“Transfer to your bed.” Irene lightly slaps SeulGi’s stomach. “I won’t carry you, you know that.”

“No, I’m too tired.”

“Too tired or too weak?” Irene grimaces, but SeulGi does not see as she is still closing her eyes.

“Go do your thing, Irene.”

“No,” Irene sits beside SeulGi, “I want to bug you.”

That made SulGi scoff and remove her arm, “What do you want?”

Irene acts like she’s thinking before saying with a mischievous smile, “Play with me.”

SeulGi looks at her like Irene is a crazy person, “Are you nuts? You’re a grown woman.”

“Come on,” Irene gently shakes SeulGi, “I command you.”

“Play with yourself.” SeulGi turns to the other side.

“Eww! Gross! You’re so dirty!” Irene slaps SeulGi’s arm, which earned a laugh from the latter.

“I didn’t mean it like that!” SeulGi keeps on laughing, “Unless you really wanted to, then I won’t stop you.” She starts laughing out loud.

“You. Stupid. ert.” Irene slaps SeulGi’s arm with every word.

“Oww! I’m vulnerable!” SeulGi rubs her hit arm.
