PROLOGUE

Hye Soo,

I was at the park earlier, busking again. There was a fieldtrip so there were many people that stopped just to listen to my songs. I think some of the kids were laughing but most of them threw coins inside my guitar case. That’s a progress, right? My cousin came with me though, so I had to pause for fifteen minutes because she wanted to go get an ice cream. Well, she’s younger than me so I had to look after her. Too bad when we got back to the park, the students were gone and the adults weren’t very friendly at all. Oh I also met this kid. Annoying boy. He insulted me. He said I should stop singing because I . He even insulted Raspberry! Raspberry cannot be insulted. It has feelings, okay. But anyway enough of that annoying guy I don’t believe him because I know my songs are getting better! I wrote about you again and how I miss you…I still think of you. It’s hard not to.

Anyway, tomorrow I’m going to the park again. I’m excited because I have two new songs and I’m covering this new hit song by SNSD, except it’s acoustic of course. I’ve learned the chords…by accident. I was playing around, trying to figure out a tune for my new song until I picked up the chords for Tell Me Your Wish. Creepy. But hey, everyone is singing that song. So I hope people in the park will like it. They have to. I mean, it’s a free concert! One day, they would have to pay to see me. So they better enjoy it now while it’s free!

I’m going to be a singer. One day. Just wait.
