Late at night, you sit cross-legged in your bed next to Sehun, silently laying next to you. The lights of your laptop screen flicker as you click from page to page, causing your boyfriend's deep brown eyes to shine in the dark, catching your eye. You glance at Sehun out of the corner of your eye, seeing him next to you in the bed, his arms folded behind his head as he cast a blank stare at the ceiling. The song you had been listening to ends and the opening chords to "Open Arms" emanates from your laptop, causing Sehun to stir a bit in his position, not changing his fixated gaze. 

Last Night was the opening night for the Exo'Lution #2 concerts, the night of the big 'comeback'. The first night the guys performed officially as 10. 

Tears had been shed, but none by Sehun, which somewhat worried you. Knowing the amount of emotional distress he was in, you naturally were worried about him.

Continuing on with your homework, you try to ignore the heavy feeling of nostalgia filling the two of you. D.O finished his solo, moving onto Luhan's. 

"We sailed on together, we drifted apart," his slight accent evident, he sang with his ever familiar calm, sweet voice. You can't help but look over to Sehun for and for a slit second, his gaze meeting yours. His expression is as straight as usual, but his eyes showed his internal feelings of remorse and sorrow. He shifts his attention back to intently staring up at the ceiling silently, lightly mouthing the words "and here you are by my side".

Your eyes quickly dart back to the screen, and you continue searching the internet. You can't help but feel terrible for the poor boy. Oh, Sehun. I'm so sorry.

The song plays on, and you find yourself swaying along with the song and humming the chorus quietly. Baekhyun sings his solo, and Luhan's voice drifts lightly from your speaker like a cool spring breeze. You close your eyes and sighed. 

"But now that you've come back, turned night into day," 

You can practically see the two boys together, goofing off, hugging and posing for the cameras, he bright smile that lit up Sehun's face whenever he was with the hyung. He knew there would be no coming back. There was no day.

"I need you to stay" 

You turn to your boyfriend, he inhales deeply, letting a tear slip down the side of his pale cheek as Luhan's final note rang through the stiff night air. Biting his lip, Sehun closes his eyes and places his slender hands over his eyes. "I'm sorry Y/N.." He apologizes, tuning away from you. 

You know there's nothing you can do to help him, he just needs time. You do the only thing you can think to do which is shut your laptop and curl up next to him as the song continues on.

"So here i am with open arms,"

He turns to look at you over his shoulder, raising an eyebrow. Giving a faint smile, you open your arms. He pauses, then turns to wrap you tightly in his warm grasp.

"hoping you'll see what your love means to me, open arms"

"Oh, Sehun... I know it's hard, and you miss him and-" He interrupts you by pressing his lips to yours, his hand brushing your hair out of your face.

"Hoping you'll see what your love means to me..." Chens crisp voice filled the room.

"I love you, Y/N," Sehun places a small kiss on your forehead, tucking your head into his chest. The last note of the song plays, and he quietly sings out to you,

"Open arms".
