Prologue.

Hey everyone..... My name is Seo Joohyun. My friends  (only few)used to call me as Seo or Hyunnie. My sister Seo Han byul calls me butter cup. My parent’s call me Seo Joohyun, nope....no pet name or anything else.

 

 My parents are pretty rich! Yeah they are awfully rich!!! I have an elder sister. Our whole life were dictated by our parents. The only thing we both were expected to do is to follow their orders without a question. Well the sad part is i did and the fun part is my sister didn’t, not infront of them but she fooled them behind their back and sometimes in front of them.

 

When we were still in school, i used be the quiet one. I was the one who only concentrates on  studies and not to disappoint my parent’s with my results. I was branded as the ‘Pretty nerd’ while my sister gives her homework to someone to finish and cheated during exams to escape from our Parents wrath. She was a pro in it. We were like fire and ice, but we loved each other. I never once told her doings to my parents and she will never once leave my side when i was being a fun target in the school.

 

My sister was brave i was a coward, she likes to rebel, i like to be in peace always, she likes to fight for her rights I like to sacrifice.

 

We should attend boring business parties with our parents, when i smile politely to whom my parent’s introduce while my sister makes funny faces behind their back. She even gave a punch to a boy’s stomach who kissed my knuckles. She is my knight in the shining armour (!!!!) well ok Knight in the cocktail dress????

 

My father wanted us both to study business management. I agreed my sister rejected.....

She fought with them and made them agree to allow her to study for vet, she loves animals and I’m scared of them.

 

She likes to take care of them and love them, we were not allowed to raise a puppy or a cat so my sister will visit the a local vet place weekly to help with the workers, she does that for free. I love her doing those work but i didn’t help her as i was scared to be with a dog or cat or anyother creatures. I don’t hate them. I’m scared of them.

When my sister announced that she is going to study about vet and wanted to be a doctor to take care of them, all the hell broke loose in our home. My parents fought with her pointing out that she might have hit her head somewhere because her idea was absurd for them.

 

As i know my sister and her love for the animals i wanted to support her but i didn’t have the guts to stand up to my parent’s.  When compared with a horror movie my dad is more scarier for me!!!

 

He never hit us my mom does that work for him (!!!) but he never smiled also! While I tremble seeing his fuming face my sister will just snort. At those times i want to bang my head in a wall! Why can’t i be like her? Why am I such a coward?

 

  She told that she will make herself a fool in the class if she is forced to study business management. My father grunted and turned to me warning me that i better get good marks or else he will punish both of us.

My sister was happy that she can study as her wish but she felt bad for me, i comforted her telling that i was fine and i don’t have any interests so i was not bothered by accepting our parent’s choice.

 

 

Everything was going fine, we finished our studies, my sis become a doctor and i worked with my father in his company.

 

 

One day my dad announced..... now listen carefully guys he didn’t ask suggestion he suddenly announced that he wants me to marry his friend’s son for business matter!!!

 

 

I don’t know his name! I never saw him! i don’t know if he saw me also? Suddenly i was announced that I was getting engaged in a few months and my marriage will be in a year.

 

Sigh. My sister was furious and another fight broke between my dad and sis. My dad won this time, actually she was the one who is about to marry that stranger but he declined that saying he didn’t want a girl who treats animals (????) He wanted a girl whom he should be delighted to announce with everyone he knows. Like a trophy????

 

I had the title and as i was a puppet to my parent’s i was sold off in their market. That was the day i cried more in my bed. Not only i was a puppet in my parent’s home but i should be a puppet for my future husband also!!!

 

 

As this turmoil was going on i was introduced to my fiancée! I hate him at first sight.... why because he pointed out that i was 2 minutes late in meeting him and it was important to him.

 

 

The next thing i remember was he fired the server because he served him late!!! He was a complete arrogant jerk.

I didn’t want my sister to feel bad for me so i didn’t tell her that i hate my fiancée already. But she soon found out that when she met him herself.

 

 

Her words about him fell in the deaf ears in our home.

After 2 months came the most shocking news !!! well my sister was pregnant!!! World war 3,4,5 in our home..... in the end she was disowned and i was held back by my parents. We were not allowed to see each other.

 

But i talked to her and my brother-in-law behind my parent’s back. He was a good guy for her, I met him for the first time with my sister in the mall when i escaped from my bodyguard’s eyes.

 

 

We hugged each other and cried because of our situation. My brother-in-law was a good guy, i saw how happy she was with him. He was not very rich but he took great care of my sister. I was so happy for her, at least she does not need to suffer like me.

 

 

But something was weird with my brother-in-law. He was a Chinese guy but that was not the wired one , he was well! I don’t know but he was a little bit strange.

When a guy bumped into my sister on the mall, he caught her with a fast reflex and growled at the guy. Was it not wired?

Why did he do that strange action? Growling like an animal?

 

But i was distracted by my sister.

“You should leave our parents, i promise i will take care of you buttercup.” Han byul caressed my hair.

“I don’t want to trouble you guys.” I mumbled hugging her.

“You are not a trouble butter cup.” She frowned.

“My nephew or niece is kicking.” I giggled placing my hands on her belly.

“I don’t want you to suffer in their hands.” She told me worried.

“Hey byul don’t stress it will affect the baby. I will turn to you when i need you, i promise.”

 

Suddenly i was pulled hardly from her making me yelp and her eyes widen, Yifan oppa, my brother-in-law pulled me to him and pushed me behind his back glaring at my body guard and my fiancée who were glaring at him.

Did I tell you that my brother-in-law Wu Yi Fan was a giant? Yes, he was a tall... very tall guy, and strong also.

 

“Seo Joohyun what the hell do you think you are doing? Come to me this instant!.” My Jerk fiancée barked at me.

I flinched my hands on Yi Fan oppa’s shirt in fear.

“Don’t raise your voice on my sister like that.” My sister yelled back.

“What will you do little one?” my bodyguard mocked her and next second he was on the floor because of Yi Fan oppa’s fist connected to his jaw.

“Why you-” but Yifan oppa hit him again making him grunt.

“Oppa stop, take Byul with you. I will go with them, else it will become more worse.” I held Yifan oppa’s hand but he was shaking like struggling with something.

My sis rushed to his side and rubbed his back, he went normal in second and hugged her sideways.

What is happening? I was confused with his actions.

“Butter cup are you going to marry that brute? Please don’t ruin your life.” My sister pleaded with me.

 

I can’t tell her the whole truth now, well last week i caught my fiancée with a girl in a ugly position and when i told my parents they told me that rich guys have lovers behind their wife’s back and i should not give important to such petty things.

If i say that i was slapped by my mother in front of my fiancée and the maids because i stood up for my rights and refused to marry this guy, my sister will never agree to this.

 

 

“Seo Joohyun, didn’t you learn your lesson hard way last week already? Now come here this instant before you get another blow like last week.” My fiancée told me in gritted teeth making my sister gasp.

“Did that jerk hit you?” my sister yelled.

I shook my head ashamed while he scoffed, “Your mother did that for me instead. That made her finally shut up.” He replied cockily.

“What happen hyun? Tell me.” She shook my shoulder.

“I refused to marry him because i saw him with a another girl in our future home, in the bed.” I mumbled making her gasp and Yifan oppa growl, “Our parent’s told me to not give importance to such petty things, again he brought her to our future home when i was there instructing the workers” i gulped and added, “He told me not to disturb him and his lover and not to be near the bedroom.” I whispered recalling that disgusting thing.

“Wh-what?” My sister whispered shocked.

“When i told mother that i want to stop this marriage and told her what happen she told me that i was a drama queen.” I blinked back my tears and added, “When i refused to agree with them she slapped infront of our maids and him.”

My sister begun to shed tears hearing this, “There is more.” I added wiping my tears.

“What did that ugly creature do?” she asked disgusted.

“He” i hiccupped and added  “He seduced a maid from our home, and was making out with her in my room in my bed.” I wiped my cheeks, “She was there to aid my bruised cheeks, when i returned from the bathroom i saw them in my bed byul. I’m marrying a erted monster byul. He is a sadist also, he likes to hurt me emotionally.” I begun to sob hugging my sister.

 

 

She was the only person who truly cares for me in this world,  seeing her after a long time i wanted to be in her arms. I could not stop myself telling her everything that happened to me in her absence. If she was there she will protect me always but now i was alone and miserable.

 

 

“She didn’t let me touch her! I’m not a fool to wait for her like a saint. I went to the ones who openly went to my arms.” He shrugged with a smirk.

“You are a monster.” My sister spat out.

“Wait until your parents hear what you did today.” He told me pointedly making me shiver.

“Butter cup don’t go. Come with us, my sister told me.”

“I can’t byul. Father will ruin you if i did such a thing, i don’t want anything bad happen to you.” I shook my head.

“He can’t do anything to us hyunnie. Trust us and come with us.” Yifan oppa told me.

 

“I want to oppa but i can’t. I love you both, take care of my byul, i will call you again.” I told him and removed my sister’s arm from me sadly.

It happened 2 months ago, my days in this place become a hell day to day.

I talked to my sister 3 times after that, each time she asked me to agree to her and she will bring her with me. As i was a coward i didn’t agree but i regret that every day.

 

It was my engagement with that brute the next day, we have a party the next day evening. But my heart was broken seeing my best friend in the room with my fiancée, making out.

I was betrayed my own best friend who was with me for 6 years! She gave me a guilty look while the devil next to her smirked and shrugged coolly.

 

I was called as the girl without a backbone, i heard my maids gossiping that how good my future husband was in bed making me want to puke. How many women did he do that with? I can’t be seriously seen with a guy like this! so after having enough in my sleeve i finally caught the courage to call my sister.

I called my sister in the mid night and whispered in tears,

“Help me byul.” She got the words she needed.

“Yi fan oppa will be there to get you tomorrow.”

“Byul, there are many bodyguards here.” I told her scared.

“Buttercup, go to bed and sleep. Trust me, tomorrow your sorrows will come to an end. You will be free from that hell, my ma-” she stopped and cleared “My husband will be there and take you from there. Just come here with empty hands, you don’t need anything from those filthy pig heads. I will take care of everything. Bring your passport buttercup, he will bring you to China.”

She is in china with her husband and her new born baby.

“I love you byul. I wish i was also like you brave and everything, i feel like i’m a burden.”

“Buttercup you are my baby sister and I’m happy to take care of you, listen to me there are few things I want to discuss with you about Yifan oppa’s place but I want to do it when you are here. I don’t want you to take any decisions regarding your stay here, I will do that. trust me buttercup it won’t harm you but please trust my decisions.”

What?????

“Byul you are scaring me.”

“Buttercup, my decision about you will never hurt you. Give me your word that you will trust my decision.”

“I trust you with my life Byul, you are the only person who will never hurt me in this world.”

“That’s enough for me. Yifan oppa will be there with his 2 friends and they will bring you to where we live. I will explain to you everything in detail. Now go and sleep. We will be with each other from tomorrow.”

“I love you Byul, give a kiss to little Ziao for me. I want to hold my niece already.”

“You can play with her and do everything you like from tomorrow, go and sleep buttercup. I love you and trust me I will end your misery.”

“Good night Byul.” I whispered and ended the call.

I didn’t sleep a wink the whole night, I was scared about Yi Fan oppa’s safety.

Will my father’s bodyguard hurt him?

The day was dragging so slowly, I was getting yelled by my mother for my eyes bags. She was making a big deal out of that.

I was in the car, on the way to the salon, I was expecting Yi Fan oppa’s arrival clutching my mobile to my chest.

I texted him the address of the mall where I will be, he told me to be ready for him.

I was walking with my eyes scanning the peoples looking for my brother-in-law when my bodyguard to my right side fell to the floor with a heavy thud sound.

With a yelp I turned to see a smirking Yi Fan oppa and 2 more guys, one was having a sharp features with eye bags under his eyes and the other one was a chubby guy, scowling at my bodyguard.

“Hyunnie, run with this guy” he pointed to eye bag guy “while I handle this guy. Your passport?” Yi fan oppa asked me after hugging me briefly.

“In my purse oppa.” I showed him my purse with wide eyes when the body guard stood but the guy with eye bags kicked his stomach.

“Alpha 2 more guys are running towards us?” Chubby guy told pointing behind me.

Alpha???????

“Tao, take hyunnie to our car now.” He ordered and I turned to my brother-in-law with scared eyes.

“Don’t worry he will bring you there safely, we will be there in few minutes. Now run.”  Yifan oppa patted my head and pushed me gently towards Tao guy.

The next thing I know, Tao guy was pulling me among the crowd. We reached the parking lot out of breath.

“Your phone?” Tao guy asked me suddenly.

I gave him my phone, he dropped it to the floor and kicked it smashing it to pieces? How hard did he kick that?

I was gawking seeing that.

“Don’t want to track us down before we reach the airport.” He muttered, while checking the whole area for threats.

I dumbly nodded and sat inside the SUV which he opened for me and signalled to get inside, I was sitting in the back seat and waiting for my brother-in-law and the chubby guy to appear anytime.

“Here change into these, the windows are tinted no one can see you from outside.” Tao  guy gave a bag of clothes to me.

Inside was a jean, hoodie, sunglasses and a baseball cap.

I changed to it as fast as I can and placed my cloth inside the empty bag.

I saw Yi Fan oppa and Chubby guy running towards the car, Tao guy knocked on the window like asking me if I changed.

I opened the door little enough, Tao went to the driver’s seat, Chubby sat in the passenger seat and Yi Fan oppa joined me back side.

Tao drove the car as fast as he can without even batting an eye, I was scared if we are been followed, so I kept constantly checking behind.

“Relax hyunnie, you are safe now.” Yi Fan oppa patted my head.

“Thank you so much for being here oppa, I was so scared.” I whispered to him.

“You are like my baby sister, even if Byul didn’t ask me to help you I would have kidnapped you before you were married to that brute. I was here to meet you and convince you to run away from those monsters but you called Byul and made everything more easy.” Yi Fan oppa told patting my head.

 “I could bear anymore oppa, I saw him with my best friend yesterday. I know he is a monster but seeing my friend for 6 years betraying me was another stab, and the maids words are still hurting oppa.” I told him sniffing.

I didn’t see the look which Tao and Chubby guy gave me from the rear view mirror at that time.

“You are so naive, Byul was so worried about you. But now everything will be fine.”

We were near the airport when Yi Fan oppa turned to me, “Hyunnie, we 3 need to change our shirts so close your eyes.” He teased me while my cheeks turned pink.

I closed my eyes and covered with my palm when I heard amused chuckles from them.

I’m looking forward with my future with them, bye bye to hell.

 

 

On the other hand, in china, in a mansion, which was located in deep woods, Wu Han Byul was asking 2 guys 2 move the bed close to the window, in her hip was a baby cooing and watching everything amused.

“Yixing, when will they be here?” Han Byul asked Yixing who was making funny face to the baby.

“By dinner? Xiumin called me after they landed safely.” Yixing replied.

Han Byul smiled and thanked the 2 guys who moved the cot, “I hope I bought everything for her.” She mumbled while checking the closet, she bought clothes and other things needed for her sister.

“You love your sister so much don’t you?” Chen asked while adjusting the table which was moved slightly out of place.

“Ofcourse, she is my baby sister.” Han Byul nodded proudly, “I’m so happy she finally agreed to be here, I was scared that she will not agree and ruin her life with those monsters.”

“Tell us about her.” Chen asked sitting on the edge of the bed.

“If I’m fire, she is ice.” Han Byul told simply.

“She is not brave like you?” Lay asked with a raised eyebrow.

“She is naive, gullible, easily scared. I was her everything all these years. Well you can compare her to little Ziao.” Han Byul told pointing her baby who was in lay’s lap.

“Wow?” both lay and Chen mouthed, “Then will she be scared when she knows about us?” Chen asked.

“That part is scaring me” Han Byul shivered thinking how her sister will accept the fact and stay with them.

“What are you going to do?” Lay asked curiously.

“I hope she won’t faint on me. She is dead scared about animals, you know she is even scared to be in the same room with a harmless puppy. She will be sweating and shivering if a small animal is next to her when I worked in the vet.” Han Byul mumbled making Lay and Chen frown.

“This is going to be a tough job for you. For us.” Lay told.

“Yeah.” Han Byul nodded and asked suddenly, “Where is Luhan oppa? I didn’t see him from morning.”

“He is still in rage. We don’t want to go near him, Yi Fan ge will handle him.” Chen answered.

“I feel bad for him. Why are the elders forcing him to choose a mate? He shouldn’t be forced in a thing like this.” Han Byul muttered.

“We all found our destined mates, he is the only one without it. He was given 4 years, but still he could not find his true mate. Since he is a royal blood and holds the Prince title he should have a mate by now and you produce the heir and all. Elders believe that he could not find his true mate so they are forcing him to mate with one of the daughter of high rank.”

“But! He could not be satisfied with her.” Chen added.

“That’s what making him go insane, he still wants to be with his true mate, only his true mate. The girl Ling who is about to be mated with him does not share his feelings, she is more than ready to be with him.” he told.

“Because of the Princess title.” Lay pointed out.

“If Yi Fan ge was here, the ceremony will be already done yesterday. Alpha should be present and he will do that ceremony, since he went to rescue your sister Luhan ge is free. But that won’t long last, Luhan ge will be forced to the ceremony tomorrow.”

“I wanted Yi fan oppa to stop forcing him.” Han Byul added.

“He can’t disobey the elders, If Luhan ge was not a royal blood then he won’t be forced like this.”

 

Kris, Xiumin, Tao reached the place early in the morning, because of heavy rain they stopped on the road the road was blocked because of a tree fell on the road.

Kris carried Seo hyun who was sleeping, to her new bedroom. Han Byul kissed her sister’s forehead and closed the door.

“I hope you will explain to her everything and make her stay here.” Kris told his mate hugging her.

“I will, let her take some rest now.”

When Kris was going to reply Lay arrived, “Gege, elders are calling you. For Luhan ge’s ceremony. He is in total rage and they want to finish this before he loses his control.”

Kris let out a frustrated sigh, he didn’t want to pressure his friend but he didn’t have any other way to help him.

Luhan is the Prince but Kris is Alpha and close friend so he will listen to Kris and only Kris. He felt guilty for going to force his friend this way but he had no other way.

After 2 hours of endless words with the elders Kris let out a defeated sigh, he could not convince the elders to delay the ceremony anymore.

Han Byul was with Seo hyun who woke up earlier and they were near the river, they didn’t want Seo hyun to witness anything on her first day. And the sisters had many things to discuss privately, Kris thought it was for the better.

Seo hyun heard a howl from the woods across the river and shivered in fear,

“Byul did you hear that?” she asked her sister wide eyed.

Han Byul knew that it was a howl in pain and agony, she bit her lips feeling bad knowing well whom it belonged to.

“Buttercup, are you hungry?” Han Byul diverted Seo hyun’s attention.

“No, but is Ziao fed?” She asked hugging her niece who was in her lap.

“She is full.” Byul told her.

 

Luhan’s POV:

I was called by my Alpha, in my mind and as much as I wanted to avoid that I can’t obey an Alpha. I know he is trying his best to stop this dreadful thing but the elders are stubborn. I only want my mate but why don’t they understand that?

They are challenging me that what will I do if my mate was already married or worse dead. Thinking about that I felt a pain in my heart, another howl left from me and I ran to the direction of the place where all of them were present.

When I nearly reached the place I felt a presence which sent a warmth to my inner mind. What was that? I ran on my paws and stopped to shift.

Kris ordered not to shift because his mate’s sister was not aware of us and we should be careful near her until she accepts the truth.

Sigh. with a heavy heart I started walking with my human legs when that happen,

It was like a thunder was passed on me, like a lightning bolt, suddenly my wolf begun to jump in joy sending me happy signals. What is happening with him? a few minutes ago he was mourning in pain and suddenly he is howling in joy? Did my wolf went insane with all these things?

He begun to pace restless inside me with the more steps I took in the direction I took, that’s when I felt that divine smell.

The colour of my eyes changed to yellow, Xiumin and Tao were few feet before me I sprang to them, because I could smell that from them.

Both of their eyes widen seeing my eye colour and gasped in shock,

I turned to the direction when that divine smell hit more, Kris was standing there with a confused frown.

I reached him and that smell was heavy on him, seeing my eyes shine more golden yellow colour Kris was shocked.

“Who?” he whispered shocked.

“Her smell is all over you.” I growled out to my Alpha and my friend and pointed to Xiumin and Tao, “On them too, but it is heavily coming from you.”

These 3 were with my mate!!!! I finally found my mate!! But where is she??????

My wolf was restless inside and jumping happily, he finally found the true mate of his life.

Tao gasped “Luhan ge found his mate.” He yelled catching everyone’s attention.

Our eyes turn to yellow only when we find our mate for the first time, that’s why all these 3 were shocked when they saw my eyes.

“But who?”  Ling, the girl who was about to be mated with Luhan roared, “Are you lying to stop this ceremony?” she accused.

“First don’t raise your voice in front of your Alpha” Kris roared making her flinch and bent down , “Second his eyes are glowing in yellow! He truly sense his mate near here.”

“But Who?” the elders asked shocked while Luhan was pacing restlessly.

“Can you sense her?” Kris asked turning to Luhan.

“I smell her, from you and both of them. Who were you with?” Luhan asked urgently.

“We 3?” Xiumin asked and all the eyes widen when they spelled out,

“Byul’s baby sister!!!”

“What????????????????” Lay, Chen, Elders, Ling yelled shocked.

“Where is she?” Luhan nearly pounced.

“Luhan ge wait, even if she is your mate which we still need to confirm you can’t do anything atleast for now. She has many problems-” Chen started but Luhan growled in anger.

They heard a shriek of a female, Kris groaned hearing a wolf growl and the voice was Seo hyun’s.

He told his people not to be in their wolf form especially infront of Seo hyun!!!

Luhan shifted and ran to the source of the voice which shook his heart, he knew without anyone telling that it was his mate’s voice. He felt the fear.

He saw a she-wolf few feet before Han Byul and a girl who was scared to death, but even with tears she was the most beautiful girl he ever saw, forgetting about his wolf form he ran to his mate who screamed and fainted seeing a pure white wolf which pounced and she thought that it was going to kill her.

Seo hyun and Han Byul were on the river side when the she wolf came there from the woods after the running, she didn’t expect the Alpha’s sister-in-law to be there. But Seo hyun screamed seeing the size of the brown wolf and fainted when she saw a white wolf.

Kris and Han Byul groaned seeing that, Luhan shifted to his human form and cradled his unconscious mate in his lap.

When Han Byul tried to touch Seo hyun, Luhan growled,

“MINE.” Hugging her close to his chest.

“What?” Han Byul was confused and turned to Kris.

“Hyunnie is Luhan’s destined mate.” Kris informed her looking concerned.

 

“OH.MY.GOD” Han Byul shrieked while Luhan still hugged the unconscious girl to his chest and buried his nose on her neck inhaling her sent mumbling,

“Mine......”

All of them were shocked to the sudden turn of events ........
