School finally ended. Seohyun met up with the other three at the school gate for their dinner, like what Yuri had said before.
“School end~ Youngie, recommend a place,” Yoona skipped happily beside Sooyoung, clinging to her arm. It seems like Sooyoung does not mind Yoona clinging to her anymore. Or maybe, she just gave up on that.
“Ehh? Mm... There’s cafe nearby.. The coffee and food there is good..” Sooyoung looked at the ‘kid’ beside her, thought for a while before answering.
“Okay! Bring us there! I’m hungry!” Yoona swings both her arm and Sooyoung’s arm gently.
“Kwon Yuri!” A voice startled them all.
“Hearing her name being called, Yuri turned around and saw a familiar face and recognised her immediately.
“Ahh.. Taengoo.. Did you just transfer in today?” Yuri ran over to Taeyeon and gave her a hug.
“Yea.. It’s tiring.. Moving around with you guys. By the way.. I had been looking around for the three of you for a long time! Why did you keep on running around?”
“Ahh.. Sorry.. What’s your class?”
“Second Year Class B.”
“Taeyeon-unnie,” Seohyun came over and gave Taeyeon a hug too.
“Hi Taengoo!” Yoona hopped over to greet Taeyeon, pulling Sooyoung with her.
“Hi. And this is..?”
“Youngie!” Yoona replied even before Sooyoung could even open .
“Ack?! That’s not even my name! Ahh.. I’m Sooyoung. Choi Sooyoung.”
“Ahh.. Nice to meet you. I’m Kim Taeyeon. Their cousin.”
“Let’s go. Err.. Lead the way please. Thanks.” Yuri patted the short girl on her head and looked at Sooyoung.
“Ah yea.. Come on..” Sooyoung led the group out of the school, in direction of the cafe.
“Hi Sooyoung. Yea. Had to rush here from school. Ohh? Who are these people?” the girl replied, looking at the group of people behind Sooyoung, especially the one clinging to her.
“Friends, I suppose.”
“Friends? You have friends? Wow.. miracle..”
“Yah!”
“Youngie, am I not your first friend?” Yoona looked at Sooyoung with puppy eyes, pouting.
“Youngie?” Sunny looked at Sooyoung, sending some signals through her eyes and seem to have receive some replies from her, “Haha... I’m Sunny. She’s just a regular here. Not exactly a friend. We don’t interact at all in school.”
“Oh? You are from our school?”
“Yea. Class A.”
“Ohh.. Hi, I’m Yoona. Nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you too. And... Huh...? Taengoo?!” Sunny stopped talking for a while after seeing a familiar face in the group.
“Wha..? Sunny?!” Hearing her name being called, Taeyeon reacted by looking up from her book. Surprised by each other, both of them were silent for a while until Sooyoung broke the silence.
“You guys know each other?”
“Childhood friend. Remember the short friend that I always mentioned to you about?” Sunny explained. Even though she is talking to Sooyoung, her eyes are still fixed on Taeyeon.
“Ahh... “ Sooyoung seems to have remembered something.
“Yah! You dare to say that I’m short?! You are shorter than me!” Taeyeon shouted, but she does not sound angry. In fact, she sounds like she is enjoying it.
“Like real.” Sunny was calm and she is trying to hide her smile.
“You even wore flippers at home!”
“Better than putting insoles in your socks while at home.”
“Yah! When did I do that?!”
“Daily. People didn’t know that I’m short because my body ratio is good. Unlike yours.”
“Yea. Good. 5:5.”
The other four girls, who had been trying to hold in their laughter, finally burst out laughing at their argument about height, catching the attention of everyone in the cafe. After clearing all these off her mind, Sooyoung moved forward in attempt to stop the two.
“Alright.. stop.. Are you guys really friends? You seem like enemies.. In terms of height..” And she almost laugh out loud again.
“Shut up!” The two shorties shouted in unison.
“Yah! What did I do?”
“Nothing.”
“Then why did you shout at me for?”
“Because you are tall.”
“What?!”
“Sunny, what’s the commotion about?! Your voice is quite loud.. Does something matters?” A voice came out from behind the door leading to the main office.
“Ack?! No. No, boss. It’s nothing. Everything is fine!”
“Anyway Sunny, this is Yuri and Seohyun. Yoona’s sister.” Sooyoung introduced the other two to Sunny.
“Nice to meet you.” Sunny bowed in respond.
“Now, can you take our order? I’m starving...” Sooyoung rubbed her stomach. Yoona did the same too.
“Oh.. yea.. Sorry.. It’s all Taengoo’s fault.. What did you want?” Sunny start pressing the buttons on the cashier.
“What?! You..” Taeyeon responded almost immediately to her name.
“As usual. You know that. And.. What do you want, Yoona?” Sooyoung interrupted before Taeyeon could continue. It would be endless if she did. She turned to Yoona and find that Yoona is still hugging her arm, “And can you stop hugging my arm..? It’s embarassing..”
“Same as hers. And no, I can’t.” Yoona replied with a smile. Upon hearing that, Sooyoung let out a sigh. She cannot win this kid.
“Are you sure you can finish it?”
“Yes. I’m fine with it. Trust me.”
Soon, the group settled down at the seats near the window, waiting for the food to be ready.
“By the way, get one more table. 3 won’t be enough.” Sunny shouted to the group.
“Oh.. why?” Yuri was confused.
“Because of those two ordered. It’s gonna be a lot, you see.”
“Ohh.. yea.. I forget.. Sooyoung, are you a shikshin too?.”
“I guess I am..” Sooyoung shrugged.
“I see... So Yoong has competition now..”
“YUL!” For the first time, Yoona’s face turned red. Sooyoung observed as she hits Yuri lightly on her head.
She looks cute when she’s embarrassed... Hey! Crap! What am I thinking!? Sooyoung shook her head lightly, feeling disgusted at her own thoughts. Yuri, though teasing Yoona, had been observing Sooyoung for a long time.
Sooyoung... Are you going to be like them too... Or are you thinking what I thought you will be thinking... Oh dammit.. I promised Yoona not to become like this.. Cool down Yul.. Sooyoung will not bully her... She WILL NOT bully my dear Yoongie...

“Here...” Sooyoung opened the door and led the group into the cafe, greeting the girl behind the counter, “Hi Sunny. You are fast...”“Hi Sooyoung. Yea. Had to rush here from school. Ohh? Who are these people?” the girl replied, looking at the group of people behind Sooyoung, especially the one clinging to her.
“Friends, I suppose.”
“Friends? You have friends? Wow.. miracle..”
“Yah!”
