Disappointed

Yoona walked down the corridor briskly, catching the attention of all the boys and some girls without knowing it. People started to whisper among themselves as they saw her, some in awe while some in fear, after witnessing the whole incident that happened during the lunch break. Feeling uncomfortable with all these attention, she sped up and soon, she was standing outside the door of the Infirmary. She pushed the door open slowly, with as little noise as possible, in case Yuri is sleeping.
“I’m awake, Yoong.” A voice was heard.
“Yul.. Are you feeling better?” Yoona opens the door quickly after hearing Yuri’s voice. She made her way to Yuri and sat down on the chair beside the bed.
“Yea..” The latter replied.
“Good...” Yoona took Yuri’s right hand and held it in hers, it lightly.
“Yuri.. Oh? Yoona, you’re here..” A short petite girl enters, without noticing Yoona at first, but soon does when she saw two similar faces.
“Oh Taengoo.” The two said in unison.
“Are you feeling better?” Taeyeon puts down her bag and asked, standing beside Yoona.
“Much better. I was really tired just now. It was as though I would faint anytime..” Yuri gave her a thumb-up and it was grabbed by her sister immediately. She is now frowning, and pouting at the same time. Yuri knows that she is not really angry with herself, but just worried. That expression did not bother her at all. In fact, she finds it cute.
“I told you not to be like that and you won’t listen...”
“I have to protect you, Yoong... It’s my duty... As the oldest..” Yuri cupped one side of Yoona’s face with her left hand, moving her thumb as though she is wiping away tears even though there is no tears. Yoona is not even crying.
“No it’s not. You have to take care of yourself first...” Yoona pulls Yuri’s hand away from her face and held it with her hands, together with Yuri’s right hand. There was silence. Taeyeon continue to stand at her position, feeling awkward. Suddenly, someone’s phone rang, loudly.
“Sor.. sorry it’s my phone...” Taeyeon took out her phone quickly from her pocket. She unlocks her phone and saw a text message from an unknown number. She somehow knows who it was. Feeling nervous, she begins to read the message. Soon, her face is red and she could not stop smiling at her phone, looking like an idiot.
“Sorry guys, I have to go somewhere...” Taeyeon picked up her bag and opened the door. She could not wait. She wants to see that person now.
“You look really happy..” Yoona commented.
“Really..?” Taeyeon feels her own cheek. It is warm.
“Yea.. It was written all over your face...”
“I guess I am.. Anyway, bye.” Taeyeon attempted to go out, but she was stopped by Yoona, who is now standing up, beside her.
“Wait.. what’s that letter?” Yoona asked.
“Wha.. what letter?”
“The one you passed to Youngie.”
“It’s.. It’s nothing.. It’s because I have something on so.. I asked for her help...”
“Really..?”
“Really. By the way, the day after tomorrow...”
“I know. I will make yours too. Haha.”
“Ahh.. There’s no need to make mine..”
“Oh? You seldom reject this kind of things... Why? Do you have someone here?” Yoona pointed to her heart, as she short cousin.
“I.. I got to go! Bye.” Taeyeon was shocked at what Yoona says. She ran out of the room quickly, leaving the door open. Yoona peeks out, looking at the small figure getting smaller and smaller, and soon disappeared. She chuckled and close the door with a wide smile. Yuri was feeling relieved that her sister had cheered up. To the both of them, Taeyeon is like the only one that can always cheer them up, since the both of them could not help it but to tease Taeyeon about almost everything. In another word, she is a victim to their teasing since young.
“Yul, don’t you think it’s fun to tease people?” Yoona sat down once again, on the chair beside the bed, grinning.
“Yea... But I think it’s more fun to prank other people though...” Yuri smiles at her.
“Haha. This prove that you are feeling all good now!” The two laughed, with Yoona showing off her famous alligator mouth.
“Sunny~” She called out sweetly, giving goosebumps to the one sitting at the table near the counter.
“Oh, you are here.. Take a seat first, Taengoo.. I’m almost done with these...” the latter replied calmly. She had expected this to happen.
“Love birds.” Suddenly, someone commented. Sunny turns immediately to where the voice came from and saw Sooyoung, who is still sitting there.
“Oh? You are still here?” She did not notice the fact that there is still someone in the cafe other than her before Taeyeon came in.
“Of course. It’s just that your whole mind is filled with Taeyeon that you didn’t notice my existence.”
“It’s not... I.. I’m just too busy to notice you...”
“So I’m not on your mind? You are on my mind the whole day though...” Taeyeon interrupted the conversation, pouting as she speaks.
“No you are not. You are just in my heart.” Sunny gave her a mischievous look.
“Hehe~ Are you done yet? I’m bored~” Taeyeon started to jump around like a little kid.
“Alright..” Sunny tidies up the counter and walked towards the staff’s room, “Let me change out of the uniform first.”
“Let me help you!” Taeyeon hopped over to Sunny instantly and placed her hands on Sunny’s shoulder.
“No way, ByulTaeng.”
“Come on~” Taeyeon ignored Sunny’s shouting and pushed her into the room, closing the door behind them.
Those two... I kinda envy them though... Sooyoung sighed, and went deeper into her thoughts. Just then, Yoona suddenly came into her mind. She smiled without realising but soon, she did. Wait.. Why the hell am I thinking of Yoong?! Unless... No no no! It can’t be... We barely know each other... It can’t be... Sooyoung shake her head violently as she picked up her bag and went out of the cafe. Just then, Sunny and Taeyeon come out from the room, with Taeyeon grinning from ear to ear.
“Stop that... You look like a ert...” Sunny smacked Taeyeon’s shoulder before realising that Sooyoung had left.
To: Yoongie
Just asking. Do you prefer hearts or plain round ones?
After pressing the ‘Send’ button, she put her phone aside and buries her face in her pillow. The phone vibrated a few minutes after that and she picked it up again.
From: Yoongie
Youngie~! Mm.. What’s it? Chocolate? Are you going to give it to me?
To: Yoongie
No! Of course not..!
From: Yoongie
Meanie... I was planning to give it to you though...
To: Yoongie
Huh? Wh.. what?
From: Yoongie
And to Yul and Seobaby too. Taengoo says that there’s no need to give her so...
To: Yoongie
Oh.. you are giving to everyone you know..?
From: Yoongie
Yea.
After seeing that, she did not know why, but she was disappointed. Disappointed at the fact that she is not the only one that Yoona is giving chocolate to on that day.

Sooyoung opened the front door of her house. It was pitch black. There is no one home. She went upstairs, into her own room and lay on her bed immediately. She took a peek at the calendar and realise what day it was after tomorrow. She took out her phone and begin to type something.To: Yoongie
